Moving blows, especially when you have a whole house worth of furniture to move. I recently moved from Hollywood to OC and I needed absolutely everything moved. I'm talkin' appliances, bedroom furniture, dining furniture, couches, etc. Thinking about it all gave me a headache, I've moved plenty of times and it's never been any fun. This review is only for auto shipping. I found little added value to using Kerb to ship my car as opposed to directly working with an auto shipper. Kerb is just a broker, making a profit by selling the auto shipment job to a third party. Once I learned this I hoped that at least Kerb would be responsive and provide good customer support, but they did not. Once I had paid for the service, their communication decreased immensely. Kerb also did not take responsibility for my poor experience with the auto shipper (who backed up my new shipped car into my old car). We also had to drive an unregistered car home ILLEGALLY because we did not get the door to door service that I had anticipated. Overall, a poor experience. I hate moving! Thank goodness they were able to make the process much more bearable. The movers were punctual and polite and made sure all my belongings were packed up securely and disassembled my furniture quickly and carefully. It was a big move with four bedrooms and a far distance from north la county to Huntington beach, so the fact that everything arrived in perfect condition really just gave me one less thing to worry about. The last movers I had were careless and made a dent in the wall which came out of my deposit so I made sure to go with a more reliable company this time around. My experience was great. Ive always had a hard time finding helpful movers, but they did such a wonderful job they were so nice and polite. They were there right on time bright and early not a second late, amazing. Even after we had to change times there were understanding and were able to get back to us very quickly.
