Came to get my 10,000 oil change covered by Toyota. Appointment was 7:30 and was quoted 45 minutes and was out by 8:10. Waiting area was pretty basic with a sofas and a few tables top and chairs. Free coffee. Everyone was nice and there were no surprise charges or upsells. Will come back again to this location for service. read more

These jackasses told us to tape up the bumper on our highlander when it fell off due to a recall. Then told us they didn't have the parts to fix it and keep it taped up. Now they are saying that it caused damage and they won't even honor the recall. They only pull this stuff when it's my wife down there and not me. My wife literally has anxiety from dealing with this specific shop. Buying out my lease and never going back to this place. read more

Many businesses these days are not doing well due to a variety of reasons... This used to be the kind of place that you could get a tire looked at or a sensor turned off without an appointment. They are experiencing staffing problems. My last two attempts to get a small, quick thing looked at did not go well. I was asked to make an appointment and told that it would be several days for an appointment. This may be the norm at this shop. You should make sure that you have an appointment or not go at all... I'd try to establish a relationship with an independent shop that still has a good work culture. You are a number here. I won't be back. read more

I have been taking my car to this service center for about 6 years or so now. Every time I have taken my car in I have had nothing but the best service. I have been to car places before to where I feel like they try to sell you things you don't need or over charge but I have never had that experience here. My husband is a Toyota man - we've purchased a Cressida, an Avalon (she was a beauty), and two Camry Hybrids. He insists that dealer authorized mechanics add to the life of your car. About ten years ago he started going to Kerry Toyota Service Center, and he is hooked. They know him by name, he knows all about their kids, and most importantly, they take great care of his (aging) car. He stopped in earlier this week because there was a light on on the dash. This is one of the best car servicing spots I've ever been to, and I am really glad that I've been coming to Kerry Toyota in Covington for years. I drive a Toyota Prius, and I always leave knowing that they do a thorough job with my vehicle. They're also extremely friendly and do their best to accommodate you in their schedule. The most recent time I came in, I showed up about 15 minutes early and they were luckily able to take me in right away. They're always on time (I've been here multiple times, and I have never been delayed). I had an oil servicing and 100-point inspection, and they were done well within the time allotted, not to mention, they have fantastic customer service (Sean is the best!) and are always willing to answer any and all questions about your vehicle and the appointment. The location is also really convenient for those of you in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. Located right off of I-75 in Covington, they're a stones throw away from downtown. I've never used their shuttle service to downtown, and I opt to wait in the waiting room since they have great wifi and a very comfortable seating area. I take two company cars to Kerry in Covington. They are always professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They get the service done quickly and I have never felt overcharged, taken advantage of, or like they were trying to up-sell me on things I didn't need. As far as car dealerships go, this is one I actually trust. They missed out on 5 stars because they don't offer any kind of car rental service. They do have a shuttle, however, which is almost as convenient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a Toyota. read more

They have improved in the waiting room. The couches are much better. They even have a new car to check out. The room is well lit by natural lighting. Floor clean and free coffee while you wait. My 1 pm appointment I arrived on time. For the 10.000 mile service on my hybrid camrey and was greeted by the service person in a friendly manner. The magazine selection is geared more to women. And the tree is droopy and could use some attention. This service center is less used and is easier to get a appointment at than there main store on hopefull church road. Made my call last week and got the time and day I wanted. If you try that at the main store you will have a month out. I have been happy with this dealer so far overall. Customer service is obviously a priority for this place. Having not known it exists, I found myself surprised that this was my take away (really, 5 stars). I had a seatbelt replaced that had lost it's spring - not a cheap fix by any means. But, this is a repair, I found out, that you want a proper dealer shop to repair for you. So, I brought it in. It took about 1.5 hours. The waiting room is a bit eerie - mostly because of how large it is and the fact there's no music playing. However, it was nice to sit in silence for awhile. There's some massage chairs for customers to use that will do more harm than good and have you booking an appointment with your chiropractor immediately after service (see my review of our favorite in Ft. Thomas). So, avoid those. Seriously. The waiting area was clean. Lots of seating as well. My car was fixed, and the friendly woman from the desk reviewed my order with me. I had booked a few different appointments as I didn't know when I was going to be able to be in to drop off my car, and they were understanding about my scheduling problems. Don't hesitate to take your car here. Avoid the massage chairs. read more

I recently had a major issue with one of my cars and they helped with the towing and had the car back on the road by the next morning, which exceeded my expectations. They like to over tighten your lug nuts when rotating tires so that your brake rotors warp and they can charge you for new ones.

Would be remiss not to leave a five-star review after my visit today--had an absolutely great customer service experience. After an initial inspection, my car was given a not-so-great diagnosis. The representative I spoke with was very sympathetic of my situation, and walked me through exactly what was going on, and explained the pros/cons of getting the problem handled now or continuing to let it go unresolved. Ultimately I decided to have them handle fixing it now, so I had to spend some extra time at the center in the waiting room. Wasn't wholly upset about the wait, though, as there were comfy couches, free coffee, and *massage chairs.* Really would recommend this place for its attention to customer experience. read more

I needed a spare key for a used car that I recently purchased. Nothing fancy, just a key for a 2006 Toyota Matrix. No push buttons, no fob, just a key. I called Kerry Toyota Service in Covington KY where I've been rather satisfied with past service on my truck. I was told that they had the keys in stock for $38, but I would need to schedule the service to program the transmitter key. This would cost $108 for an hour of supposed labor. Not to mention that they couldn't fit me in for 3 more days since I needed an appointment for the "labor". Well I thought I should do some checking around since I needed the key sooner than that. I was pleasantly surprised when I called Larry's Lock and Security in Deer Park. They quoted me $70 total and I didn't need any kind of appointment for the "labor". I stopped in around 4:15 (they close at 5:00) and the friendly technician took my key and had a perfectly working duplicate with the transmitter code embedded in no more than 5 minutes. I was on my way without any delay or hassle at 1/2 the price of the dealer. I realize that dealers are expensive, but I guess what really annoyed me was the flat out lying about the need for 1 hour of labor when I literally watched the technician at Larry's complete the whole process so quickly. I love Toyotas because of their rock solid reliability however one of the other BIG reason I keep buying Toyotas is because of Kerry Toyota's Service center in Covington. I always feel that the team at this location give solid advice and provide excellent service. Several years ago I had a van that had over 200K miles and was at the point were replacing certain parts were getting costly. Greg S. gave me practical advice on which parts to replace first and allowed me to stager the cost of upkeep of my van. That van has long been replaced. I now have a Scion with over 90K miles and another van with over 120K miles and will continue to bring my Toyotas for service to them only. read more

I went to this location even though it was not the closest to me specifically because they already had good reviews.Everybody was genuine super friendly. I visit the Kerry Toyota Service Center in Covington for all of my Corolla's major maintenance and service. They are fantastic--always friendly, kind, and efficient! They also don't price-gouge like I fear a lot of places do. Their waiting room is really nice, and their location (right off I-75, near Brent Spence) is so convenient. First day in the shop some kid calls me to say the estimate was wrong and that he needed to paint front fender, front drivers side door and rear drivers side door to fix one small shopping cart dent in the front drivers side door . . . . If he doesn't "blend" all three, he can't guarantee a paint match. Since I did not agree, he did a pretty shiddy job matching the paint -- on purpose, I believe. They told my elderly father he needed to replace his battery in his Prius. That's a pretty sweet $3,000.00 paycheck for Kerry Toyota Service Center. The Toyota in Florence told him it was just his gas cap. Dad freaked out and bought a new battery anyway and then error light came back. He replaced the gas cap; error light is gone! Well, what do you know? Preying on the technological naivte of anxious senior citizens is deplorable. DO NOT trust these guys. They're predators. read more
