Keep driving by.... There is better food in town. We had 6 adults for dinner. Drinks were mediocre. Appetizers took 40 minutes. When the food finally came out it was over an hour later. Both appetizers and mains were bland at best. The only dish that had real flavor was the whipped feta. The crab cakes were phenomenal - cooked perfect, lightly seasoned revealing a sweet buttery finish crab flavor; the fish and chips were perfect - flakely fish, not too much batter, crispy and certainly not greasy. Well thought I would give this place another try, but sadly looks like the food has worsen. The crab dip had no crab, just melted cream cheese, it was horrible! The deviled eggs were runny, and just bland barley cold! Food was good, service was questionable. Food: We got the crab drip, sprouts and wings. Everything was good, the dip was the best of the 3. The wings weren't anything to right home about. My husband thought they were pretty plain and didn't have enough seasoning or flavor. Sprouts were good. Service: We waited 10-15 minutes for someone to come to our table. Ordered drinks and waited another 10-15 minutes for them to come. Ordered lunch and this is where things got fun. My husbands drink had no vodka, we got crab dip vs a crab cake. The waiter offered to get us the crab cake but we felt guilty about the food going to waste so we said it was fine. The server offered a drink and we said maybe after we finish what we had. Asked the server for another piece of bread to go with what we didn't order. Waited another 10 minutes for him to come back with no bread. Finally came back. Got the bread!! We received the bill and assumed a drink would be comp'ed due to the many mix ups. Nope. Nada. We even got charged the $2 for the extra bread. I do wish where were a few more fresher options but they have more than accommodated my requests to freshen up regular menu items. the food here is next level! came to town for a wedding, and enjoyed lunch both days at ketch 22. we got the pork tacos and whipped feta the first visit. pork tacos were not only delicious but a solid helping of meat too. the whipped feta; where do I begin... the bread is amazing, the garnishes on the feta are perfect, the olive oil it is served in is delicious. the next visit we got more whipped feta and the bbq quesadilla. fantastic! they also make a mean orange crush, and have my favorite beer from brooklyn brewing on tap :-) read more

Came here after a day at the bay beach with some friends during a holiday. We were promptly seated as requested with view of the windows. Such a cute spot that seems To be part of the vacation villa, since there was a pool outside next to the restaurant, and an outdoor bar too which looked nice. The interior decor was cute! Great ambience. Chill vibe with friendly servers, our service was excellent. We caught the last half hour of happy hour so tried the 1 lb of mussels and fried wings (crispy skin) which were both delicious and very filling since both were mid size entrees, half off during HH. Wow. Amazing experience on Saturday. I was a bit nervous to come down to north beach from Annapolis but the food and drinks were far more than worth it! We ordered the chicken salad melt and the crab cake and it was great! Our bartender Joey was unforgettable as well. We couldn't decide on a drink so he offered me an "Amalfi". I thought It would be too sweet but it was honestly perfect. I the tried the strawberry mojito and I'm obsessed. If you get the chance try this place out 10/10 recommend. WILL BE BACK. read more

I have enjoyed ketch 22 a few times, however last evening the quality coming out of the kitchen needs to be more consistent. Perviousley had the Mussels twice and were great. Ketch 22 was very generous and allowed my group to have a large section of the restaurant. The staff were so helpful and friendly -- the manager even helped us finish blowing up our balloons. It's a nice restaurant with a good menu for meat eaters. They have one item that is vegetarian (besides salad) and I would love to see a couple more items added. I think a macro bowl would fit nicely with their menu and maybe a black bean or veggie burger would be nice. Maybe some day! My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant as it had such great reviews however we didn't even get to try the food because the service was terrible from the moment we walked in. The "hostess" was hanging out over at the bar with a couple of guys and looked annoyed that people had arrived. She sat the party ahead of us and we thought she would be back to seat us right after. However she walked back and went back to the bar to continue her casual conversation. She even went as far as to sit down for a few minutes. She then got up and we thought she was going to attend to us at that time but instead she went over to fix bar chairs even though no one was sitting in that section of the bar. She finally came over asked where we wanted to sit and then said she had to check what it looked like outside. She did not come back for us, instead another host who also looked miserable came to seat us. We sat down and then waited. No one came to the table. Really enjoyed our meal here - we've tried to come on the weekend and it's not only tough to get a spot without a reservation, but it's also PACKED and loud, so we came on a Thursday instead and it was perfect. In summary, this is a nice restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating, friendly staff, and good drinks. It's also right by a pool and the water, so the view is pretty nice. Overall the food was not bad but nothing amazing. Crab cakes were great, according to my boyfriend; but the cod tacos were honestly kind of bland! Although I could see seasoning on the fish, they simply tasted like salt (and a lot of it....). We were also recommended the rum cake for dessert but this too fell short as the cake was dry with not enough flavor. Extremely disappointed to write this review. I'm local and have supported this restaurant since their grand opening. Food was great when they first opened. But with each visit, the food have declined. Our most recent visit was just awful. We ordered mom crab soup, which is usually my favorite, but there was no crab. Basically, it was nothing more than sweet tomato soup. For appetizer, we ordered mussels...wow yuck! Not sure what sauce it was but it was not good, and mussels were way undercooked. For our entries, we ordered meat loaf...again yuck! I had better meat loaf at IHOP. Also ordered crab cake entry...$52! for below average crab cakes. We also had their ribeye...average cut of ribeye and seasoning was bland...for $42, Capital Grill is far superior. Lastly, please clean your wine glasses. Nothing worse than holding a filthy crusty wine glass. This place has now become nothing more than a tourist trap. Spent nearly $300 with tip and left extremely upset due to the poor quality of the meal. This will definitely be my last visit. read more
