I am very sad to have to post this bad review. I texted with Kevin and set an appointment. He sent Tri Nguyen to do the work, which was done satisfactorily. I had a big clean up project, and we also made a plan for monthly maintenance. The date for my first monthly maintenance came and went and neither Kevin nor Tri contacted me to cancel. They did not show up. I called and texted asking if they were coming, and no one answered the phone or returned my text. They could have had the decency to cancel. I want to make sure everyone knows that this company is completely unreliable. read more

He responded on the same day to my inquiry and actually completed the work a week ahead of schedule. Kevin and his crew did an amazing job for us. We were in a bit of a bind when we decided to move relatively last minute and needed to get our house ready to sell and on the market as soon as possible. He was prompt in responding to an onsite assessment and quote, and went above and beyond after that. Kevin made sure he knew when we were getting photos taken for the listing, and recommended that he come out the 3 days prior to make sure that the photos would show the property in its best self. He added some plants to the landscaping in some areas that could use some more texture without charge, and he even offered to come by the morning of the photos to blow off all the needles and cedar droppings, also for no charge. When you think about service that goes above and beyond, Kevin and his team achieved that. They aimed to please, offered and delivered on more than we expected. I am sad we are moving far enough away that we won't be able to use his service on a more regular basis, but I would recommend him to anyone looking for yard maintenance and general landscaping services. read more

Kevin's team did great work. The house we purchased was nice, but the yard was a wreck. They removed everything, leveled the yard, and replanted the plants we wanted to keep. They cleaned out and leveled the area under our kids treehouse and filled with wood play chips so it's safer and stays weed free now. They're not the cheapest, though I would say their fair for the quality of work. We have more work planned and will use them again. read more

This is an in-progress review as I'm still working with Kevin and his team. But wanted to share experience to this point. Will update as we go. Reached out to a number of service providers on Yelp. Need three rhododendron trees cut down and hauled away. Contacted Kevin around just after midnight and he got back to me around 3am -- super impressive start. Said that he could come out to my place the next day to provide an estimate. Next day got message asking if he could drop by about an hour or so earlier than we had planned. As I happened to be on the way home early I said that wouldn't be a problem. Get home and Kevin's dad is waiting. Friendly man and ready to chat about what I needed done so we walked around the yard, I pointed out the three trees and an area about 8' x 10' that I wanted cleared of vines. He gave me a fair quote on the spot(I didn't negotiate as I felt it was fair) and said his crew could be out two days later. We shook hands and had a deal! Work was to be done this morning but received message from Kevin yesterday asking if we could move to the afternoon instead. I'm flexible today so no problem. Asked Kevin to confirm a specific time so I could make sure to be home when they get there. About 11am now and still waiting for confirmation. To this point I'm happy with the experience, although the real work hasn't started. Will update review as I go. read more

Kevin's Yard Work was everything I was hoping for in a yard work service: fast, reliable, and detail-oriented. I'd let our small front yard go too long, and so I was looking for a service that was quick. When I reached out for a quote, they responded in less than an hour over Yelp messaging, we scheduled a time for an in-person quote, and then within a week, the crew came and did the yard cleanup while I was at work. When I returned, the yard looked perfect. I paid everything minus deposit shortly after. There was a small problem with payment: my check was lost in the mail, but they made it easy to pay via Venmo rather than sending another check. read more

I hired Kevin to completely uproot and reseed an entire lawn, which was a huge job. Kevin and his crew were always friendly and on-time, and I was satisfied with their work when done, except for his proclamation halfway through that he needed to tack on $400 more (to an already $4000 price) because he had to "pay his crew". Dude, that should have been included in the first place. They had already started so I felt like I had no choice to pay the extra fee. Then, about 30% of the grass installed immediately died, and after 3 months of back and forth (Kevin kept telling me he'd come back to replace it), nothing ever happened. No replacement. BUT - there is a HUGE problem now. Kevin insisted that the soil he used was "top of the line premium soil" but it didn't look that way when installing. Again I let this go. Now, 8 months later, I've been told by my maintenance crew that crabgrass is growing because the soil underneath the grass is basically sand. No nutrients. Yep, Kevin TOTALLY is a CON ARTIST, lied to me, upped the price after the work had begun, and now I have to pay another crew to reseed, throw down nutrients, and start deweeding all that crab grass this year. All of this could have been avoided if I had gone with someone else, and I'm really sad I didn't do so. Don't hire Kevin. He comes off as very nice guy and easy to work with, but he lies, and he won't do the job he says he'll do. read more

At first I was pleased with the yard clean up they did. Then they came back for the maintenance work. They cut our lawn and did blow leaves off the side walk and steps, but did not clean up any of the leaves from the beds. From my understanding with Kevin this was something was going to be included in the maintenance work. Of all the people who have done our yard, he was one of the worst we have had. When I clarified that his excuse had nothing to do with my request he responded hours later that he's booked for two months. If you are unable to take new clients, say so right up front. Very efficient and reasonably priced ! I have had his dad's business taking care of my yard for YEARS ~ my mom and dad used their service, too, and were always happy with results. Kevin has stepped up to take over the business and get the job done ! I have my service set up for every 2 weeks (with a winter break when the weather is poor) and he & his team pop in, mow, edge and blow leaves/debris. If I need extra work done (big Spring clean up, branch clearing, etc), all I have to do is text Kevin and he sets up a time to give me a firm quote and works with my schedule (he is also flexible with those times when I am having a party and need him to come over a day early, etc, so the place is looking good for company). I live on greenbelt with a ton of maple trees behind me, so there is always an incredible amount of leaves down in the Fall. He was diligent keeping them blown off the grass so my lawn looked great all winter until Spring clean up ! Last summer I had him come out to remove an overgrowth of ivy in my driveway - it was dug out so thoroughly, there is not a single vine popping up from the gravel this year ! Amazing !!! Super friendly, respectful and listens !! If you want an area groomed differently or certain plants/ferns left untouched, he makes sure to take care of things like you want them to look. read more

Quick communication and fast scheduling! I needed my lawn to be photo ready to get in on this hot market. They were quick in getting me in, garage has zero weeds and love the fast communication.
