I bought the car expecting to hear back soon about my title so I could transfer everything legally. Instead, I got the runaround. As my temp tags were about to expire, I called to ask about the title and was met with an incredibly rude woman and unprofessional response. I was told they didn't have it. Then, my girlfriend called a bit later and suddenly they did have it and were mailing it. None of it made sense. Because of their delay, I ended up having to drive with expired tags. One of the employees told me, "It's fine -- if you get a ticket, we'll pay for it." Which is absolutely false -- we confirmed with NJMVC that you cannot legally drive on expired tags. To make matters worse, 32 days after purchase, the check engine light came on. Clearly, they reset or disabled it when selling the car. The Carfax report also falsely stated an oil change was done -- I know it wasn't because I had to do it myself. After fixing one issue, the check engine light came on again. This dealership only cares about making the sale -- once you drive off the lot, they don't care about you or the car. I will never buy a vehicle from them again.

A man there told me he would be back at 10am. So the next morning I get there at 10am. By 1020am the other couple waiting decided to leave. At 1040am we call the number on the window and it seems we really disturbed whomever was on the phone. He was upset that we were calling him without an appt, even though one of his employees told me he would be there. He quotes me a price on the phone way higher than what was on the car, and then proceeds to make me feel like an idiot because their website mentions financing, yet they don't do financing. If a business cannot get the basics such as scheduling, and having clear Information on their website, I can't trust that the cars are in good shape. After reading some of the other reviews pertaining to the employees there, I believe I made the right decision walking away. South Jersey is overrun with used car places that are friendly, helpful, and provide correct information to the public, anyone of them would be a much better choice.

My girlfriend and I drove to the Voorhees location to look at a silver Honda Civic. We called ahead, and customer care assured us the car would be pulled up and ready. It wasn't. When we walked in, we met a salesman named Frank. I am a pleasant guy and like to make jokes, so I playfully teased him that they were "0 for 1" since the car wasn't out front. Instead of basic customer service, Frank immediately copped an attitude. He left to check his system, came back, and angrily told me the car was currently on a test drive (even though it was still parked right out front). He then loudly announced in front of the entire showroom and my girlfriend that they had run my credit and I "couldn't even afford the car." Here is the insane part: I never gave them my information to run a credit check. We were buying the car in cash with a certified check and didn't even need financing. Frank had mixed me up with another customer and was publicly humiliating me over someone else's credit score. When I realized his mistake, he offered zero apologies, called me a "cocky kid," and told me to leave. I demanded a manager, Lew, who switched us to a new salesman two cubicles down. While we waited, Frank actually called another salesman over, and they stood there whispering and pointing at us with a smirk on his face. It was so incredibly unwelcoming and childish that we got up and left. The regional director, Brian, called to apologize and set me up at their Williamstown location the next day to look at a black Civic instead. We agreed on a price of $29,382 (after I caught them trying to sneak in a $299 window-etching fee). I told the saleswoman, Nor, that I was driving back to PA to get the cashier's check and handle the insurance switch, and would be back by 4:00 PM. By 2:00 PM, she was texting and calling, trying to pressure me. When I told her not to rush me, she threatened to move the car to another location in Haverford Township just to force my hand. I was completely done with the high-pressure, disrespectful games at Auto Lenders. I took my family's advice and drove straight to Piazza Honda of Springfield. I worked with their sales manager, Frank Crinite, who treated us like absolute gold. The ultimate punchline for Auto Lenders? I walked out of Honda of Springfield with a BRAND NEW 2026 Honda Civic Sport for $30,005. I spent barely $630 more to get a brand-new car rather than dealing with the miserable, disrespectful staff at Auto Lenders trying to hustle me for a 3-year-old 2023 model. I hated to part with my 330 HP little speed demon Infiniti G, but it was time! CarMax gave me a great deal on the trade-in and excellent financing on the Murano. Steve Southall was the salesman and he made the whole process easy, quick, and simple from start to finish! I spent more time on the lot looking than I did with him! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous, even though I was a little anxious and a bit amped up as I usually get when making ANY new or used car purchase (It's not like you make a big purchase like this every day! LOL!) Unlike other big-name used car dealers, there was NO pressure to purchase their warranty, plus they give you plenty of time to shop in their lot - no one approaches you until you go inside to inquire about a vehicle. This review is of the location in Waterford, NJ…read more Be sure to check your sales contract for 1) change in vehicle pricing. 1k was added to the advertised price. 2) give the sales person in writing the amount of your down payment to give to the finance guy. A verbal amount was given to the salesman which was higher than what he relayed to the finance guy. Once discovered, an additional call and the redoing the contract to included the correct down payment and monthly payment amount was required. 3) the addition of a warranty. It is made to seem like the warranty is covered in cost by the dealer with the wording 'it comes with a warranty' (it's not; it added to the price) The warranty only covers cosmetic damages to the vehicle, not the mechanics like the engine, turbo, etc and will significantly increase the amount financed and taxes as the warranty is expensive for what is covered. 4) Ensure the approval letter be given to the finance guy. Even after presenting a pre approval letter, finance made additional inquiries with other lenders without my permission. Once discovered, it was determined the salesman never informed finance of the pre approval. 5) Have the vehicle throughly inspected by a mechanic not employed by the dealership if you're expecting not to have to put money into the vehicle immediately. The lie they will tell you is their mechanic did a thorough inspection when in fact, at least in this case, that was not true. Luckily, extensive research on the potential repairs needed for the year, make, and model of vehicle purchased was done beforehand, so repairs were expected. After discovering the issues outlined above, contacting the dealership and not getting a reply, a letter was written with the promise to report them to the state, an acceptable compromise was reached.
