We've definitely had some difficult rooms in the past, this one would also rank around those but would be considered a lot more doable which is key for people who love the experience of escaping. There was one puzzle I really hated at first because of the difficulty and thought it was a bit much, but looking back on it- though it was challenging, it was also a really interesting team effort. Wouldn't change it. If you are looking for a seemingly endless amount of fun and spooks, be sure to check this one out. Not only is it great to find rooms that are well thought out and detail oriented, but it's also a 1,000,000x better of an experience when the game keepers are clearly passionate and love what they do. WOW! Just WOW! I've played over 260 escape rooms, and I have to say, this location is top notch, fully immersive from start to finish, and I was incredibly impressed. As of today they only offer The Blood of The Original, but they'll be opening more games soon and I can't wait to come back. You can tell the owners put their heart and souls into this escape room, with clever fun puzzles and an incredible attention to detail. Their signposting (an escape room enthusiast term often used in conjunction with puzzle quality/flow) was absolutely on point. When we arrived they were dressed in period costumes, and we were impressed by the beautiful lobby and hallways before we even entered the escape room. Once we entered, everything from the set design, the sound, and the lighting was impeccably done. At this many games played, it's HARD for me to find unique novel things in an escape room these days, but here, I found a few things I'd never seen before and I was incredibly impressed. By far the BEST escape room in the Reno area!! I've played over 50 escape rooms and Keystone Escape Games are on the top of my list! I played their newest game this evening "Dragons Alley" and OMG it's EPIC!! It's got a ton of space, a bunch of puzzles and something for everyone. It's not a at all scary and has really cool technology that makes you feel like a wizard and become completely immersed by the environment. I even think this room has done replay ability because there were so many puzzles and everyone was working on different things that you could play it again and have a different experience with other puzzles. We just finished Dragon Alley and it was Awesome! We have done multiple escape rooms in San Francisco and Reno and this one was amazing! Lots and lots of puzzles and the decor, props and theme were incredible! The design of the puzzles were a great balance of strategy and entertainment. Our game keeper was awesome. He helped my 9 yr old son just the right amount when he needed it. Our game kept 5 family members ranging from child to grandma busy with something to solve at all times. Thank you so much! Randomly stopped by on a Monday evening and my partner and I were able to book a game/room immediately. The staff were kind and explained the typical escape room rules before taking us to the room. I'm no escape room expert and have only done a handful of rooms in my life but this is the best room/location I've ever played. The vampire theme of the room was exciting, the room was interactive (I won't spoil it for people who are new) and I appreciated the clues we got along the way, since my partner and I are not experts. This was a great experience! The location is a little shaky, but please don't let that keep you away. We did the vampire themed room (the only one available right now) and had so much fun! I have done a good number of escape rooms around town and this one was and still is my favorite! Their new room was ah-mazing and so much fun! We did their first room three years ago and have been waiting with bated breath until the new one, and when I got the email for the new room we knew we had to do it. Did not disappoint with interactive puzzles and I wish I could forget how do these rooms just so I could do them again! SO GOOD! We stopped in Reno and decided to see if there were any good escape rooms in town. We were lucky enough to do both rooms at Keystone Escape Games! To say this place is awesome is an understatement! We travel the country and try to find the best rooms and these rooms did not disappoint. The first room Blood of the Original was very fluid and well planned. Everything from the music to the special effects was spot on. You can tell the designers put a lot of thought, planning and effort into it! We escaped with a few minutes to spare which to us is great! Puzzles were thoughtful enough not to fly through them but difficult enough to give us a challenge. The new room Dragon Alley was also fantastic! Again a good, fluid game that is immersive and well planned! Plus our game masters were fully into their acting parts and helpful without overstepping! This was my second escape room experience and it was a total blast! I definately need to do it again. Brought my mom and my girlfriend and it was their first time and it was a great one to bring them to. The whole setup was really neat and had a really cool darker feel which made it more fun. It wasn't "scary," exactly, but it had its spooky moments. As I said I'm a frequenter of escape rooms, I have done eleven before this one, and this one presented unique challenges that I hadn't done before. We took our friends to their first time escape room and we all had a blast. The four of us were able to make it out of the room with a little over 12 minutes left using a handful of hints.
