Good good the lady working was very nice! Quick service and the solace was pretty clean. Only thing was the beverage machine had the flavors all mixed and tasted flat

Kentucky Fried Chicken in Brunswick, Georgia.
William - Bill Lewis L.

Very rarely do I stop for KFC as most of them are lacking in service and quality of food. This particular Kentucky Fried Chicken - in Brunswick, Georgia - is just east of Interstate 95 on the north side of the street. Went into drive-thru and ordered the 3-tender Georgia Gold basket with potato wedges and biscuit for $5.49. Ruby, the cashier, was polite and friendly and offered many suggestions. Originally offering me the $5 meal deal, I ended up with the Georgia Gold after her explanation. Not a bad choice it turns out. Chicken tenders were actually pretty good. Very flavorful. Potato wedges were okay and the biscuit was dry. The take out bag had a couple of napkins, but no ketchup for the potato wedges. Only 3 stars because of the lack of ketchup and lackluster biscuit and potato wedges. William E. Lewis, Jr. Vero Beach, Florida.

So finger lickin' good

When I tell you this was the best damn KFC I ever had, I can't make this shit up. I ordered the three piece crispy tender combo and they were not lying about that crisp. Even the fries were fresh and crispy. Y'all come get u some hot chicken tendas made with love

Haha it was sitting up on the sushi bar counter the whole time too. Very strange...the waitress passed it several times. Other people were served first who arrived after us too The place was relatively clean, but not the best. I would go back but it's pretty mid-range as far as sushi goes. See if you can top my ten rolls of sushi- the alleged record is 25!

The whole menu except for drinks and some specialty items are included. You can order whatever you want and as much as you want and they bring it out on giant platters. Just make sure you finish whatever you order! Otherwise there's a surcharge. We enjoyed appetizers first (gyoza, spring rolls, wings and shrimp tempura). Then we ordered two heaping portions of sushi and a beef udon dish. We finished up with ice cream and a donut each. It was $207 worth of food (we calculated) that we ate for under $100 before tip for the three of us. Definitely worth it. The food was generally quality and delicious. The specialty rolls were particularly good. We loved being able to order the individual nigiri. Regularly, these go for a few dollars for 2, but in this case we could just order whatever we wanted. The eel was our favorite nigiri and the dragon rolls were our favorite sushi rolls. We enjoyed mixing the donut into the vanilla ice cream for a hot and cold dessert. Lunch would be an excellent choice if we get a chance as it's significantly less expensive for what, at first glance, looks like the same menu. We'll definitely come back, and soon!

Still, a steady flow of traffic so we proceeded to enter and order. We ordered 13 pc fried jumbo shrimp and 5 pc wings. The food was served hot and crispy. The shrimp didn't come with cocktail sauce so we requested. The wings came with a side of hot wing sauce which was good. The wings themselves didn't have much taste without the sauce. The fries were also not good. Try to upgrade to other sides. With that said, there was a man who said he's a regular and always orders fried fish. So maybe we just ordered the wrong items. The food was 3 stars, ambiance was 2 stars.

They do a lot of takeout, but we decided to "dine in". Food is served in takeout containers. It's located behind the gas station but not far off the interstate (I-95). We were hungry when we stopped so everything sounded great and we couldn't decide what to order. We wound up getting their 3-item platter. The items we chose were chicken livers, fish, and fried oysters. We got the fried flounder (a dollar more) although we'd wanted snapper -- it's too expensive now and not included per the gal taking our order. It didn't take long for our food to be ready. It came out in a big aluminum tray. And we requested tartar and cocktail sauces. They also gave us some ranch and blue cheese. The portion was huge!!! The only problem was that they gave us scallops instead of oysters. When we pointed that out, they gave us a side of fried oysters in addition. My husband said the oysters were some of the best he'd had. The fried flounder fish -- there were two large fillets -- was so light and flaky. The fish was my favorite. The chicken livers were good also. And the plate also came with a ton of crinkle cut fries. We did have leftovers. And we said we'd certainly stop here again. Prices were reasonable for the quantities and quality. Just don't stand on ceremony -- it's a down home, very basic, local kind of place.

Nice market with a good selection, but very pricey. Per many other reviews, my husband and I both had fried shrimp. It was excellent. He got the large platter and could barely eat it all. The regular platter was very plentiful. He got sweet potato fries as his side - excellent choice. I went wrong with my side - Mac n cheese. It was homemade and OK. To me it was like a very creamy and very cheesy Kraft with added pimentos. But to be honest , I make a killer southern mac n cheese and am pretty picky. So it is probably totally fine for most folks. We did have to wait quite a while for the food. We got there just 15 minutes before closing. There were a couple folks that had just ordered and were waiting. Then when I meandered through the whole store and came back twice to find it was still in process, I found out that someone had called in an huge order for 10-12 people just 15 minutes before closing. Amazing that people do things like that. Anyway, the staff was nice, patient, accommodating and doing the best they could. We weren't in a hurry. I just felt bad for them trying to get closed. Will definitely rely be back when we visit again.

The reality was....... We walk in. Me, my beautiful wife, two boys and our 8 month old. We stood there as a little Asian girl who couldn't have been older than 14 just stared at us painfully. After 5 min of silence I asked her if we could eat. She said yes and motioned to some paper take out menus by the register. So we ordered the house Lo mein and the kids got the sweet and sour chicken. We also got a few egg rolls. Drinks were purchased out of a cooler in soda can and plastic bottle form. We were still all standing. Mind you, this baby was gaining weight with every passing minute. Finally my wife asked if we could be seated. Again we were told yes, as the little girl disappeared to the back. So we found an empty table and I snooped around until I found a high chair. Food came out quickly. The egg rolls were not bad. They were delivered on small styrofoam plates that were melting from the heat of the egg roll. So at least they were fresh. Then we got our plastic flat ware rolled up in a paper towel. And our food was delivered on paper plates. Quantity was decent. Quality wasn't horrible. The Lo mein was good. The beef and chicken was also good. The shrimp didn't taste good. My kids told me their sweet and sour chicken sucked and their fried rice was dry. This was one of those times, I believed my children without hesitation. Atmosphere not so good. Now we did box up the leftovers. No one got sick. So I lost that bet. I did eat the noodles the next day for lunch and I have to admit they were better at my house. For take out. This might not be a bad spot. If you want to sit down with your family and enjoy a meal, not the place.

For a fast casual dining restaurant, off the bat, the exterior of this location is very inviting with its contemporary style. The aesthetics of this location continues inside with it's decor and the various seating arrangements which include the standard height, booths and bar height tables. As for the food, I appreciate that there's not a crazy amount of options. It's mainly Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Texas Toast, Coleslaw and their Cane's sauce. Their drink options include: fountain dinks, iced tea, and lemonade. We learned that the lemonade is made in-house and freshly squeezed each day, which was actually pretty delicious. We got The Box combo so we could try a little of everything. The toast was nicely buttered and toasty. The chicken fingers and coleslaw were just average tasting. The chicken was fried well and juicy on the inside but it felt like it lacked a bit of flavor. It wasn't bland but I guess if you dipped in into the sauce, it's their saving grace. The Cane's Sauce is really good, by the way. The coleslaw tasted as I expected so nothing really stood out to me. There are 2 family restrooms with changing tables. It was nice, clean and well stocked with paper products. High chairs are available outside the restrooms. And the service we received was great!
