I'm not one to write bad reviews but wow. This location has a large sign by the drive-through that states if they don't give you your receipt your meal is free. The manager was working the window and did not give me my receipt she had me wait out front for my food and when it was brought to me the receipt was also not with the food. The person who brought me my real food ran off before I could stop him so I called the store and told the manager that I had just come through and she didn't receive a receipt and that I was excited that I get my meal free. I was cool about it though and I told her "if it's going to get you in trouble don't worry about it." She said oh I see your receipt right here. And she simply said no and hung up on me. I called back and said I think got disconnected. She said that offer is only valid at the time you are being handed your food. I said I was just handed my food and you have my receipt so you know that I didn't get my receipt she did not want to refund my money and hung up again I said OK I'm not going to bother with it but I felt that this was a poor way to treat customers. I wouldn't have pushed the issue at all if she said this was going to get her in trouble I would have let it go but I was severely mistreated. read more

They have had a big change at this particular store. The last couple of visits were atrocious last year and I swore to not going back. Well, I went back last week and was very impressed. The store was much cleaner, there were more employees and the food quality was much improved as well. Whatever happened to this location.....nice work. I walked into to KFC looking for a quick bite since i was out of town. The food was great. The most impressive part was the staffs and the manager's (Kayla i believe) honesty. I had forgotten my wallet there for 2 days. Once i finally called back to see if they had it, the manager kindly told they had set it aside and were waiting for me to come for it. This location is filthy. While the staff was pleasant everything was dirty. Greasy Fingerprints everywhere, greasy counters , the racks where the chicken was stored and the glass doors were gross, EVERYTHING was nasty. I wanted a napkin to wipe the spilled soda and mashed potatoes off the seat but the napkin holder (only one on the customer counter) was dirtier than the tables and seating. The floor was covered in food crumbs (large pieces of chicken skin, French fries, hot dogs, etc), spilled soda, the trash cans were coated in ice cream and other greasy and sticky food, and the doors and windows were disgusting. I'll never go in this place again. And the bathrooms...OMG! I'm not sure which was worse, the bathroom or the food prep and service area. Pulled into this A&W KFC, but did not realize that it would take 20 minutes before they took my order. Only to be told that the pot pies are sold out and that it was going to take another 15 minutes before they were ready. What's sad is that the guy at the window was only taking one order then making the next customer wait till there was only one car at the window. I woke up this morning and had a hankering for Kentucky Fried Chicken. It doesn't happen often but when it does it is best to answer the call or belly gets upset. After my daughters soccer game we headed to the Colonel's and I struck pay dirt. Ordered the 3 piece combo with Biscuit, Mashed Potato and Gravy and Corn on the Cob. I think the "Original" KFC chicken breast is one of life's simple treats but I always find the drumstick and wing as meh. Today the beautiful servers gave me three breast pieces and they were cooked perfectly. The corn and potato tasted wonderful and even the biscuit was moist. Also, they have a new sauce called FLG Sauce. FLG stands for Finger Lickin Good, they have clever marketing people. The sauce needs to be bottled. It is like thousand island mixed with their secret 11 herbs and spices and it rocks and it works on everything. To make sure none of it was wasted I was using it as a spread on celery. read more

As a Customer I should never have to worry about being called a foul name let alone Bitch not once but twice. The customer service at this restaurant is absolutely horrific! I got a deal for Coney Island dogs on my phone and brought my daughter here to redeem the offer as an after school treat. The kid working obviously HATES his job. He barely acknowledged us enough to take our order and was quite rude about the whole coupon thing. Then while we were eating we noticed a sign on the wall that said if we filled out an online survey that we would get a free go cup. I did the survey and brought the completion code up to the counter. I stood there for a good five minutes before he even came over to see what I needed. He then told me that to get the free go cup that I had to purchase a drink. I showed him that the signs that were posted on all the walls in the restaurant did not have that caveat written on them. He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I called him back and told him that I deserved something for my time and he told me that he definitely could not give me the go cup unless I bought a drink for $2.00. I argued back that if that had been included on the sign that I would not have wasted my time on the online survey as I already had a soda from Sam's club and did not need another one. He finally gave us a root beer float, probably to get rid of us! lol I probably would have let the whole thing go but the kid was a total tool! We will not be coming back. read more

We went inside to get our free A&W Root Beer Floats on August 6th. It was deserted - on Free Root Beer Float Day! There were two people ahead of us, one waiting for their food and one waiting for their order. We waited 10 minutes with absolutely no movement and no acknowledgment from any staff member, so we left and went through the drive-through. We made the right choice, as the drive through was moving. The staff member was rude (didn't respond to me at all after giving us the bag) and they forgot our cookie for one of the meals. We received our cookie and got home with our to-go order. One of our meals was missing a piece of chicken, as it was the $5 meal with two drumsticks (only received one, and thigh). I tried calling them several times after we got home to report the missing chicken (since my boys were sharing a meal and didn't get their full portion). They didn't answer the phone. I understand why it was deserted, and why it gets such poor reviews. There is no excuse for this kind of poor service and management in such a successful chain. Angry, when something that is supposed to be fun (like free floats) becomes something of a bad experience where you never want to return again to the place! read more

The worst KFC I have EVER been too. Horrible service and the rudest people work there. The people who were working gave me some major attitude and disrespect. I went through the drive thru and started my order for doordash. It was a VERY SIMPLE order. I told him half of my order and he cut me off by saying do you work for doordash? I said yes. He said we don't except doordash in the drive thru and I said okay and went inside to order. This is when it got worse. I proceeded to tell the front counter person my order and he tells me oh did he not tell you in the drive thru? I said sorry? He said it's going to be a 15 min wait for the chicken. I said okay and called the girl and she said okay. I waited and waited and waited. They had half of my order ready but supposedly forgot to make the rest. I then heard the manager say what happened to that person in the drive thru. That was me FYI. So long story kind of short, a older gentleman said oh have you ordered and I said yes and I told him I've been waiting for 20 MINS NOW. he said wow and he turned to the workers and said get this ladies order out. And the worker said omg I totally forgot to make the rest haha. I'm pissed at this point. So before he put the items in the bag I said can I have some honey and butter. And he gave me 2. I said can I have some more? He said we can only give 2. I said really because you just gave that person like 10. He went and got more. He then said in a very rude and mocking type of voice is there anything else we can get for you ma'am? I said don't call me ma'am and lose your fucking attitude. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I live 35 minutes from this location. I ordered a 10 meal with a free cake and popcorn chicken for myself and my toddler son. First they did not have crispy so I had to settle for less than what I wanted. I took my order and drove home, once I opened the bag I saw that there was NO cake and no popcorn chicken! So I called to speak to Kyle, the manager, and he said he would mail me a coupon for a 10 piece meal and popcorn chicken to try to make up for the HORRIBLE service that led to half of my family not being able to eat! Now 2 weeks later still no coupon! I work in Folsom and will never dine here again! This was 2 times in a row now with this restaurant that my order was incorrect. I told the young lady filling my order to make sure it was correct. she repeated it 3 times correctly. I told the guy where I paid and he said he would make sure that it was correct. I placed a large order(the receipt with survey code is one that I took off of counter because they never gave me one) 80+$ so I was told to drive around to door and they would bring it out. 2 people brought out my order and I asked them both if they double checked it-both replied they had and it was correct. I drove home 15 minutes-to find out I was missing 6 chicken breasts, 1 5$ fill up with tenders. drove back now 30 minutes wasted. to find the doors locked-they were short staffed. No one would come to door until some guy almost busted the door down because he was mad at his error on his order. they did not have enough breasts. when I got home my other food was ice cold, chick that I did get was DRY and very disgusting beyond eatable. It was the worst ever experience with the manager-showing indifference and 1 other very rude and sarcastic. Will NEVER go to KFC again. I called the Manager, Victor the next day, his response was thank you for letting me know. No offer to refund all or a portion of my order. Asked a service person over the phone whether they would honor an expired (expired 2 days ago) coupon for buy one get one free and she said yes. So, went thru their drive-thru and the manager taking the order thru the intercom says "so you want to use a coupon that expired 2 days ago..." anyways after being sarcastic about it...he fills my order and charges me a higher amount than what was stated on the coupon...pointed it out and he gives me a look...then proceeds to talk about it b4 he shuts the window thru the drive-thru. I get my order and discover 2 biscuits missing from 2 orders. Honestly, this was a 4 item per order (2 pieces of chicken, 1 biscuit and 1 cole slaw) and they couldn't remember the biscuit? The store had just opened for 15 min...no lines...not busy at all. So I called, and the manager proceeded to repeat "yes, I remember you, you're the customer with the buy one get one free coupon" in a sarcastic tone. He said I could pick it up. My son bugs me until we go there to pick it up....the girl behind the counter goes "you're the buy one get one free lady" and starts whispering and snickering away to someone in the back....I could not believe the unprofessional behavior of this restaurant. The manager's name is Taylor...and he s/b fired! That girl should be thanking the lucky stars above that she has a job because that's is all anyone would hire her for...and she couldn't even do that right....these people need to be retrained on customer service! read more

Wow. If I could give a zero star I would. I'm almost speechless at how horrible this place is. My expectations aren't too high for a fast food restaurant but this place will never receive another penny from me. I visited at 12:30 on a Wednesday and there were probably 6 people in the restaurant. ..... all waiting for their pot pies. I overheard one of those waiting that it had already been 10 minutes. That should have been my first clue. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Second clue- the bumbling cashier who took 5 times to get my order correct...which was just a hamburger and "A5" meal. After sitting waiting for our food for over 15 minutes I went to stand where the food comes out...in case they just forgot mine. They had messed up on the order before mine which was what was delaying mine...but 15 minutes? So I continued to watch and the cashier checked the hamburger in the box 2 different times to know what it was. He realized that the regular plain old burger was missing and went to start it....mind you there was no customers that came in after me and only 1 car thru the drive thru in the past 15 minutes..and mine was just being started -by the cashier while my husband's had been sitting there for at least 7-10 minutes. When I watched the cashier pick the bun out of the bag and put it in the toaster without gloves on I did a double take. I gave the benefit of the doubt that he'd throw that one away and get a new one since one of his coworkers yelled at him for not putting gloves on. He did put gloves on, but took my bun out of the toaster and continued with the process. By that time we had been waiting over TWENTY minutes! !!! I could have gone to a sit down restaurant and been served faster. The bare handed bun handling was the final straw and we left with $9 less in our pocket and no food. read more
