The lady at the window was very friendly. The food was awful. Usually I get KFC original but today I got the extra crispy an potato wedges. The chicken was not very crispy, the chicken was extremely greasy and the chicken was very dry. it just didn't taste like the KFC chicken I usually get. Also, there was no KFC seasoning on my chicken. The chicken and potato wedges were both dripping in grease....and tasted like you were eating grease. Both were simply awful!!! Yuck!! read more

The only reason they get 2 stars is because of all the KFC chains this is the one with the best potatoes. There buffet was dried up and even when asked for fresh chicken it took over 10 minutes for them to care enough to bring it out. Most of the staff acted as if helping us was inconvenient for them. read more

Came in to pick up an 8 piece chicken and Tara helped us at the counter. She was so nice and helpful! She let us know that they were cooking some fresh chicken and the options that they did currently have. The crew seemed a little short staffed but everyone there appeared to be working super hard. I've eaten here for the last time. Food is normally good, but I've encountered very rude staff here. I've stopped in before and they just didn't open that day for whatever reason, and they didn't even have the courtesy to put any signage up. People were pulling up to the drive through speaker and driving off after getting tired of waiting. Many other fast food choices all around them, including two chicken places. Why tolerate this type of treatment when there are so many better choices nearby? read more

Arrived today at 6pm to get a 16 piece family meal, to go, because we spent the day doing outside work and we didn't want to cook. One person was in the drive thru and one person was inside the store eating the buffet. I went inside because I don't like to use the drive thru for an order this size. The person running the register had a horrible attitude. She made me repeat my order 3 times to her as if she wasn't paying attention. When she finally realized what I was asking for, she informed me that they don't have any CHICKEN and I would have to wait 11 minutes. How can you not have chicken when it's dinnertime, 6pm? Ordered online at 6:15 PM for pickup at 6:45 PM on 6/28/2020. Pulled up to the drive through speaker at 6:45 exactly and was told it would be an 18 minute wait on the order and to pull to the side. The next two vehicles to order at the drive through were also sent to the side. I assumed they were having to prepare more chicken so we waited. At 20 minutes into the wait someone brought an order to our car. It was for the car next to us that had ordered after we had arrived. She asked what our order was and I told her. She nodded and said okay and pointed at the building then delivered that order to the car next us. At the 30 minute wait mark we had no chicken and no one had come back to inquire about our order or apologize for the wait. At just over one hour after the order was place and 30 minutes into the 18 minute wait I called the online order assist number which turned out to be Grubhub and had them cancel the order and refund my 34.00 order. I assume that with the conditions we are under the Frankfort KY KFC on US-127 is doing so well they can afford to ignore 30.00 orders. We love KFC but this has now made us second guess ordering online from them again. Had already had an excellent online experience at the Versailles KFC so it made this experience that much more frustrating. Thirty mile round trip and an hour and 30 minutes wasted and no one will care. Side note: Grubhub customer service was outstanding!! read more

My extended family and I were together celebrating my birthday this past weekend, and were debating where to eat. Since we don't have a KFC in our town, we had to travel approximately 40 miles there and back. We purchased two family fill-ups with additional items added, spending a total of $49.47. When we called to see what came with the family fill-up, we were told it consisted of eight pieces of chicken, two lg. containers of mashed potatoes, one lg. of gravy, and one lg. of slaw, with four biscuits. (so, four sides per fill-up, with a total of eight) We ordered one fill-up exactly like above, and a second fill-up with one potato, one gravy, and two green beans. On top of this, we ordered two more breasts, two more thighs, and six more biscuits. We received NONE of the two lg. containers of gravy, NO slaw, and only ONE potato-when we should have gotten three. In all, we were shorted five sides! Also, NO honey, butter, utensils, or napkins. The chicken was so greasy some of us removed the skin and used paper towels to absorb some of the grease. As a final affront, there was a long hair baked into the biscuit I bit into. I almost threw up as I spit it out. Disgusted, I threw the remaining biscuits away. What a terrible birthday dinner! Having made that extra effort driving the 40 miles made it even worse. If I ever happen to crave KFC again, which I highly doubt, I would NOT recommend eating at this particular branch. This isn't even the first time we've had trouble with this same restaurant. I had forgotten over time, but a year ago my husband brought dinner home and we were missing part of our order then as well. Calling to complain then was a big waste of our time since nothing was done about it. This is why I haven't bothered to waste my breath this time, but I felt I must leave an honest review and warn others to be very careful when ordering from this KFC. If you order to go, at the very least check your bags before you drive away so you can get what you paid for! Good luck...I think you'll need it. read more

3 out of the last 4 visits(take out) , chicken was so dry and hard, it was not edible. Kept trying to give them benefit of doubt, as it was my sons favorite place to eat. I understand a little better when you catch them just before closing, but at Sunday lunch, doesn't have much excuse. We will be going to Bojangles and CF from now on. read more
