KFC has been around forever and I am not sure how you can come here and not give four stars. I mean... Isn't it the same every time? This is a large shop with plenty of seating. It's bright and clean and the staff is always courteous. It is a very easy in and out off of Jericho Tpke and plenty of parking. This shop is fairly close to my house, diagonally across from Home Depot, next to CitiBank. Location is great. I usually get the fingers and some fries to make it easy. Ordering is quick and there is someone putting together you meal just as quickly. The tenders are a good size and they were cooked well. Warm and crispy, just how it should be. This is the closest KFC chain from where we live that's why we have no choice to come back to this place. Food is up to KFC standards. The restaurant inside looks clean. But the service is where it falls short. We ordered from the drive thru and from the inside - they always forget something from the list of what we ordered. Always double check your orders. Oh, one time they told us that they ran out of chicken - this was before closing time. Use your imagination with that excuse. read more

I do however must say this location is kept extremely clean and staff is very friendly, something not applicable to most fast food locations. I actually had a pretty pleasant experience yesterday when I stopped off at the Jericho KFC for dinner. This location was pretty clean with plenty of seating. Employees were cordial and gave me everything I needed. I actually wanted to try the $5 fill up (3 tenders version), and I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting 3 small, crappyass tenders, but I found them to be fairly sized, breaded, and fried quite nicely. I was like damn. KFC mac and cheese is always good and even my mountain dew from the soda machine had good syrup to water ratio. I enjoyed my meal thoroughly. Hopefully my next visit to KFC will be good as well. read more

We went here to order takeout for the fifth time in a row during their night shift, and once again, they forgot to put some of the sides in with my order. If it's not missing gravy for mashed potatoes, it is missing coleslaw or missing mack and cheese. I came here 2 weeks ago on a Sunday and I was so exited to try the new chicken and waffle sandwich I saw a review on. I go through drive thru and ask them for all the chicken and waffle options since I didn't see the picture on the menu if the sandwich where the chicken and waffle section was advertised. They never mentioned the sandwich only the basket way. The man taking the order was very rude and pushy. I leave the drive thru and ask to speak to the manager and the manager was the one on the drive thru. I explain to the manager the miscommunication he had a non-Chalant attitude as if I was bothering him asking for a manager and I explained to him if someone is ordering you should mention all the options the chicken and waffle cones not just the basket. I didn't even want them to make it the lady at the register and making the sandwiches were all listening and made they face up. This is the only fast food joint I will go into. KFC is so good Chinese people are willing to eat here. This particular KFC is close to my home, and for ten dollars or so you can get a big meal with a lot of protein. That is the main thing in food, the protein. Last night around 11/30/18 10:15pm I went thru the drive thru. I ordered a $5 fill up. Very simple order. I asked for two thighs which I always do, they did not have it. No problem, I'll take the drumstick and the thigh as the sign says. The woman there stated they do not have a drumstick in original. She will give me a wing. I hate wings, I asked her if she has a breast. She stated yes but I have to pay extra. I asked her why I had to pay extra. She also did this to me a week earlier. So I explained to her nicely that if you don't have the drumstick, why do I have to be charged extra? She basically said I either take the wing or pay extra. I asked if there was a manager there (this is still in the drive thru) and she stated there is no manager there. She stated his name was Oscar and he will be there tomorrow. Now I work with about 200 people in a 24 hour building nearby. I'm not the only one that has issues there. Many many times we go there and by 1030pm they are out of original. They then say it will be about 30 to 45min before they make more. We have a 30min lunch break so we cannot wait. I do not want anything for free. I just want them to please have the food ready. If you know you are running out of original make some more and be proactive. I have a receipt from a week earlier where the same woman that worked last night charged me extra. Can you please address this, many of us love going to KFC for dinner. We used to go there an buy 3 to 4 meals at a time but no one wants to do it anymore since many many times they are out of what we are looking for. And also the employees are rude there. Went thru Drive-thru, ordered chicken strips box. Went home - most of the strips were burnt re-fried and rock hard, 3 of the strips were RAW... as in PINK and slimy. Notified Management, they said Once you drove away, its not their problem. Called up KFC Corporate, and they said fixing the problem is up to the franchise. Soo far it has been MONTHS and I have not got my 20$ back, it has cost me 60$ in gas to go back and forth to see a manager who is never there, and they run me in circles. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My friends and I went to kfc in Jericho on 11/17/18 at 7pm and the girl who "tried" to take our order from the drive thru was EXTREMELY rude. We asked for a #8 $5 fill up and she asked us if we wanted crispy, original or grilled. We were confused because the #8 was supposed to be a famous popcorn bowl and so we asked her if she had the correct order. She gave us a nasty attitude and her exact words were, "well you told me #5 $5 fill up so maybe next time you should double check with what you want BEFORE you order now shouldnt you?". Before we could even answer another guy worker apologized and proceeded to take our order. When we drove up to the window we asked for the girls name and the guy just smiled, said have a nice day and closed the window on us. I normally dont write yelp reviews but management really needs to fire this girl and she should never be allowed to work in the food industry or anywhere that involves customer service AT ALL. read more
