Wow. It hasn't gotten any better, and somehow maybe even worse. We showed around dinnertime and found a line inside and the order machines out of order. No menus were available. But no matter, when we got to the counter the young woman staff member said she didn't know any menu items except for a chicken sandwich. At KFC, really? We ordered one sandwich, took forever (20 minutes?) to get prepared, and it was not hot. Awful experience. And the floor wasn't clean, for whatever that's worth. Worst KFC ever? It's entirely possible. Placed a mobile order, show up a few minutes early, don't see anything waiting in the quick pick-up area. That's fine, I'm a few minutes early. App notifies me the order is ready. Weird, still no food in the pick up area. Go to ask, the person that has seen me obviously waiting for something says "how may I help you?" I explain I'm here for a quick pickup order, the app says it's ready but no good in sight. "Oh, we'll start working on that now" Why did I bother placing a mobile order if there's no time-saving benefit to simply walking inside? Then I'm informed they're out of mashed potatos. It's 12:30. Peak lunch time. And you're out of what may arguably be the most popular thing you sell? So now I paid an extraordinary amount of money for... French fries. This location is terrible. Norah the front end lady was absolutely a doll and did her best to help. The other workers on the other hand not so much. Not sure who the "managers" are but not only were they extremely rude to Norah. Myself and other customers witnessed the managers berate and belittle her. Now onto the food. My order was messed up 2x, now this isn't a big deal, things happen and I get it. A lot of the food had gone cold by the time I got home because I ended up waiting about 45 mins for it. Some of it was already was in the car then had to bring some of it back in because it was the wrong stuff. All in all, Norah the front end lady who was on cash register was the nicest and sweetest person. She was very helpful and went out of her way to try and make things right. The managers, not so much. They should honestly be fired just from the way myself and other customers heard the managers speaking to Norah and others. read more

I order early in the evening, around 5:30-6 pm. I chicken sandwich combo meal, with corn. a lg Fry, lg. Cole Slaw, a lg. chicken bowl and a lg. mac and cheese. What I received: a chicken bowl and and mac and cheese, w/ the soda from the combo meal. What I did not get was my meal, the chicken Sandwich, (for the third time I placed an order and not got the main item wanted) no cole slaw, and no corn that was the side to my combo meal. Then had to pay for the delivery cost and driver tip, to not get my meal. Most likely will not bother going to KFC for anything ever again. Now lets talk about my fries, I open the bag and the fries were all over the inside of the bag. I grabbed 3 and ate them. Took out the other two items and emptied the back of loos fries into the container, to find that the container was like half or less full! Would you pay $6 plus for these, see the picture. Ordered 2, 5 tender boxes with two sides and got two boxes with one tender sliced up into 5 pieces (looked like scraps from someone's meal) in each box with one box only having one side. I don't know if they are joking or not but this is the worst excuse for a meal I have ever seen. read more

I vist the keene kfc almost every day. I place the same order every time and almost every time my order is messed up. I've never once been rude to any employee there yet my food is constantly messed up and when I ask for a remake of said item I'm met with rude and nasty looks and today 10/29/23 a window slammed in my face when I tried to speak to David one of the mangers at keene kfc. It's very unprofessional to disregard customer service when literally working in a fast food business. If someone was allergic to a suace and asked for it not to be on there or made special and they didn't that person would be dead most likely. so I took my lunch a little late today and was starving. before I came to this location I checked my credit card to see what the balance was before coming cause I don't get paid till tomorrow. when I got to the window I ordered my food. it came out to $12 and some change. I went to pay at the window and my card declined. so I messaged my friend to send me the cash so I could pay for my food. the lady at the r window was incredibly rude to me. she told me I was messing up her drive thru time and it was hot. Rude workers who think they are better than others all the stuff is use and don't know what they are doing most of the time

Average drive through time has been close to a half hour even when it doesnt look busy. Cold dry hard food is the order of the day more often than not. Continually disappointed whether we order kfc or taco bell,with even small orders being incorrect. No recourse unless you want to wait another half hour or more in line. read more

I purchased a three piece meal, at this location during last week. The individual behind the counter took my order and walked off. After about 10 min. of waiting there, the asst. manager comes out and asks if he can help me. I said yes, I am waiting for my order. He asked for my slip. I handed it to him, like I had not actually placed an order! He goes and prepares my meal and hands it to me. I go and sit down. It only has two pieces of chicken and not three. This particular location sucks. To put it lightly. The wait time is ridiculous here. I wait in line on average 55 mins every single time. The parking lot should have been changed around when they renovated a few months ago. If you park and go in, there's no way to back out and leave because of the drive thru lane. Not a good design. The point of my review though, is this: I have tried to get food every night this week, with no luck. The first night we waited in the drive thru lane for over 20 mins only to finally move forward and every car drove away only to find out they closed early. Next night, waited over a half hour only to have to have an "employee" walk up to every car and tell us their card machine broke down. (What's wrong with cash!?) Then, last night I drove in and saw 2 cars and got excited (because the wait is ridiculous,) only to drive up to the order window to see a make-shift sign taped to the box that said "closed". Mind you, it was only 5:30 PM. Tonight I'm waiting in line in hopes to get some dang chicken. They also wont let anyone inside the place yet. Which doesn't make sense because every other place is open to diners. Get your crap together KFC/TACO BELL, or you will probably go out of business soon. The prices have gone up and serving size down. We have gotten the Family Fill Up many times over the past few years and now they serve the sides in a Bowl.... the bowl is maybe half what the styrofoam dishes were. Our son loves the Famous bowl, and even that is smaller now. The size of the bowl has shrunk drastically. Keene usually does ok, but in a recent order they forgot the biscuits and the chicken strip side. It was 2 late to return as we live 20 mins away. So double check those orders! read more

Stopped in for the first time in years. Big mistake. The place was rundown and grungry-looking. What we could see of the kitchen through the doorway- yechh. Lunchtime service was ridiculously slow. There weren't that many customers coming inside, most of them used the drive-thru, and the staff gave them priority, making the inside customers wait for their orders. I can understand the low reviews but I think you have to grade fast food restaurants on a curve. Because of the nature of the business none of them will be perfect. In that context, I love KFC. Where we came from in Connecticut the one in our town was not good so we drove to the location two towns over which had a location that was. When we went to visit relatives in Massachusetts they had one in there town which made great chicken. I have been to this location in Keen three times and the chicken has been excellent all three times, really the best I have ever had at a KFC. It was fried perfect, juicy and crisp at the same time, the seasoning was spot on and you could tell the oil that they fried it in was fresh every time. Was this location perfect, well, you already know the answer to that question, I didn't expect it to be but if you like KFC chicken, you know, get a big box of it and go sit in your car, listen to the radio and stuff you face then you won't find better than this. read more

I love Kentucky Fried Chicken and visit many of their restaurants. Most of the time I find this one in Keene clean and the employees friendly and helpful. There have been times when they have been short on different types of chicken and this has been troublesome. On an overall I would say they do a fairly good job and will continue to visit there when I am in town. read more
