I'm definitely more familiar with the dinner crew than the morning team, but I feel that they make good food and do their best to keep up with orders. Granted I haven't tried Popeye's version nor Chick-fil-a's, but these do have that KFC crunch and familiar flavor which makes it a solid sammie. I have a lot of questions for KFC especially with that stupid decision to remove the legendary Hot Wings and replace them with the crappier version of Wing Stop wings. However that's a gripe with KFC HQ so I won't fault this particular KFC. This KFC has a good location with plenty of seats and large parking space that's shared with OSH. The drive thru can be a hit and miss because I've had cases of messed up orders or lack of dipping sauces but those are probably true of any minimum wage places. Overall it's a KFC so you know what you get. I like that you can get a good deal if you check your mail and the original and extra crispy are still good. I just really wish they can get the old Hot Wings back because I used to order 3 20-piece combos every single week. read more

It's KFC and when it comes down to it when you want quick service for fried chicken with its signature Original/Crispy Fried Chicken. This is the place to go within the Millbrae area. The location itself is pretty convenient bc it's half and AW but also it is one of the few drive thru KFC in the area. I can only say in my experience that service is indeed fast and never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order. Workers are workers and it's a plus if you get great service but I've experienced good/fair service from this location. All in all the convenience and fast service is what stands out the most. read more

I got an 8 price chicken bucket with 2 large sides and a large root beer float. I love the coleslaw so got it as a side and decided to try the Mac and cheese. Chicken: 3/5 Good flavor, but a bit on the soggy side . I know they are not known for crispy skin. Coleslaw: 5/5 My favorite and the recipe has not changed at all! Slightly sweet and tangy. Mac and cheese: 0/5 would not recommend you get this at all! The flavor was watered down and a bit chaulky. It barely had any type of cheese or creaminess to it! I had an unpleasant experience here today. I went in to eat with my husband and kids and immediately I noticed that the restaurant was extremely dirty. Filthy and sticky floors. Tabletops were no better, had crumbs and were sticky as well. The cashier was polite enough but the food was not good either. The chicken was not fresh tasting and had just been thrown on carelessly on the paper plates. It was also overly greasy, just dripping grease when we picked it up. The mashed potatoes were just blah. The tenders and French fries were edible. Our go-to for fried chicken is always Popeye's but we were in the area and hungry and hadn't been to a KFC in forever but we definitely won't be returning. The chicken was typical fare but my gripe is with the help. I ordered some mashed potatoes with NO Gravy. My partner wasn't feeling well with some digestive issues and just wanted some potatoes. When one of the workers asked his fellow worker, "Who gets mashed potatoes with no gravy", I again said NO GRAVY and explained why. I guess I should have checked the order, because when I got it back to where we are staying, there was gravy on the potatoes! Angry doesn't begin to describe how I felt. So I ask, how stoned were these two guys? I have ordered three piece combos several times from this restaurant and shame on me for not checking but I get home and I have two pieces of chicken. This is happened to me twice at this particular restaurant. Once is a mistake, twice is intentional. After my last experience I swore I wouldn't but my husband really wanted Chicken for dinner and I just couldn't be bothered to cook so we came back about 5 weeks ago. It tasted ok, the wedges on the other hand were so greasy and had next to no potato to them. We ended up waiting almost 15 minutes for my husbands meal! Seriously? For what is supposed to be FAST food. When it was ready though it looked soooo good - just like the picture - huge chunk of chicken, steaming hot, melty cheese.. damn I felt cheated!! Husband enjoyed it though and it was gone within minutes. So why still just 1 star? I got so sick is why. I won't go into details (it's a bit gross) but I had a few symptoms of food poisoning.
