Went to this one to get a chicken meal, sandwich and fries. Ordered through the drive-thru. Employee in window was okay, could have had a tad better customer service skills. Having acquired the food, went home and ate it. The potatoes and gravy were how they normally taste, cole slaw was also how it normally tastes. The chicken, however, tasted under-seasoned. Did not quite taste how it should. It could've been better. And fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. I can't speak for ambiance because I didn't eat inside. But I do like the outside look of this restaurant. Maybe it wasn't the best day to come. I'll come back again, hoping for higher quality food. read more

This KFC is better than the one in Nevada County! Its newer and clean! I got into Oroville and my friend and i wanted KFC. Went March 25th..see receipt. If you want to save money than use either their paper coupons or their app! We got the breast and wing with biscuit and mashed potatoes and gravy for 5.99 (used paper coupon). You can't go wrong with KfC if they are managed properly! The chicken was decent, and the drive thru was quick. The side of corn was just average ( their individual sides are very small!) Overall, after a long drive it definitely was a good choice! I am not a big eater so this was enough to share! Also great tor picnics in the summer! read more

Ordered the famous bowl combo with the pie poppers and more, got everything but the pie poppers and the famous bowls are mostly mashed potatoes and a small bit of corn and chicken not really worth it in my opinion unless you want a LOT of potatoes but frustrated about the pie poppers. read more

The restaurant is modern & clean. The staff is friendly and helpful!. I ordered the pot pie because I love pot pies! The top crust was nicely browned and flaky and the gravy was out of the oven hot and good. It was a little light on chicken and veggies but that didn't spoil the meal. It also did not have an interior crust if you're into that. The biscuits were smaller than I remembered but the downsizing wasn't surprising. Overall, was a good lunch for a good lunch. read more

It's July4th and I do take that into consideration, hence at least the one star, otherwise OMG today's traditional July 4th meal was almost rediculously inedible! Service was Terrible. They managed to not keep track of and then ran OUT of chicken so had to wait for a new batch to cook, and what was cooked was WAY Overcooked! The potatoes and gravy were Cold and just a spoon of gravy ladled over the bowl of potatoes, the cole slaw was on the soggy/flat/warmish side, obviously had not seen any refrigerator at any time for any length of time, the biscuits were tough from sitting out. Plus our order was very screwed up. We were given two bowls of their mac and cheese And the bowl of cole slaw of which none of the three were ordered! but we did order two bowls of potatoes and two bowls of gravy. And WHEN did their chocolate cake go to mini??? And we live in Biggs so was not going to take another hour to go back and have the order redone! All in all, we will try Yuba City's KFC next time, or better yet get a rotisserie chicken and sides at the grocery store here in Gridley and enjoy the day!!! read more

This KFC is straight GARBAGE as far as the service and most of the time the food, too. My last visit there was just that MY LAST VISIT. Will not be returning. Ordered a #11 (reg. Chicken sand) for my elderly mum with cole slaw and lemonade and a bucket for the kids. Get to the window, the guy says "Pepsi, right?" I tell him "well I ordered lemonade but Pepsi is fine too, no worries" because mum likes both. He snatches the cup back and says "you'll get lemonade then!" I get the bags of food and in the parking lot, I discover there's no sandwich and no cole slaw. Go back to the order speaker and tell them there's a few missing items then drive around. I tell the guy there's no sandwich and they gave mashed P's instead of slaw. Mind you, I'm being very nice because I'm simply just not one of those people, know what I'm saying? So imagine my surprise when this kid starts to argue with me, saying "that's not what you ordered. I heard you. You did not say #11." He refuses to correct the order, forcing me to drive around to the order speaker AGAIN and RE-ORDER the #11 and of course, pay for a whole other meal. Sadly, that's not the end of it. Idk if they were being pissy because I called them on their bullsh*t but they ended up giving a SPICY chicken sand instead of the darn regular one which was another huge waste because mum can't eat ANY spicy foods. I'm just not okay with basically being called a liar and having the worker try to argue with me about something that I was 100% in the right about. How do I know? I have a dashcam that records sound + video and out of curiosity, once I got home, I checked to see if perhaps I was wrong about what I ordered and sure enough, I ordered correctly. I said before that my mom is a KFC lover, bless her heart. Well, she made me go again yesterday. My order was four of the pot pie meals, medium with two sweet teas, one Sierra mist, and one lemonade, followed by a three piece tender meal small with a lemonade and mac and cheese, a four piece tender meal medium with a lemonade and cole slaw, two personal cole slaws, and a large mac and cheese. All clearly enunciated, all there - - On the receipt. I was informed at the window that while they had enough to fulfill the mac and cheese for the three piece tender meal, it would be a twelve minute wait for my large one. I was fine with that, and expressed that I would take the rest of my food home, about five minutes down the road from their establishment, get my family going with their mains, and come back to get it. That part was fine and dandy. They handed me four drinks, and a few minutes later, handed me the bag of what I thought was my entire order, sans large mac - the reason why I thought this is because... The woman at the window asked her coworkers if it was the entire order without the thing we all agreed that I was alright with waiting for, AND SHE WAS TOLD THAT YES, IT WAS ALL THERE!! Keep in mind the primary complaint from my original review was that they had forgotten one particular part of my order EVERY TIME I'VE BEEN HERE SINCE THEY REOPENED!!! ... I mean, they didn't forget just one this time. ... THEY FORGOT SEVEN!!! *** Now, I'm not the kind to take my day out on a server, being service myself, because being service sucks super duper hard to begin with because of Karens, Chads, Brads, etc., so I was polite, cheerful, and had my order ready when I rolled up to the speaker, so as to not make them wait when the drive thru was already full ahead and filling behind. *** Back to my visit. The seven items forgotten were the four cookies from the pot pie meals. My Sierra mist and last lemonade. And. The coup de grace. My last... Personal... COLE SLAW. ... I was understandably upset. That was like a slap in the face at this point - a crud covered olive on top of an already garbage flavored ice cream day. ... Now, no one gets to say I was even rude at this point. I get back to the drive thru, and was greeted. I said - 'Yeah, I was told to come back for my large mac and cheese, so I'm back for that, but while I was home, I discovered that y'all had forgotten my... (list all seven)... and I'd like those too.' Woman manager (? The voice didn't match the cashier at the window's voice, but did the voice of the other person standing as far back from the window as she could, wearing a button up shirt I think - I only caught a glimpse of her once, and don't truly remember what she was wearing, but she had nice makeup, long dark, mildly curly hair pulled back in a ponytail, and was the only wearing that particular outfit, so I assumed she was a manager, considering her hair was not bound in a net in a food environment, which some managers feel entitled to doing even as they make their employees adhere to food safety laws) - 'Yeah, we've got that.' Me, voice clipped and you can tell I'm irritated, I'm sure, but still polite and haven't sworn or berated anyone once, at all - 'Alright, I'll see you at the window. Thank you.' I get to the window - the cashier (beyond a brief meeting of the eyes, no eye contact and impatient) said - 'So, the large mac and cheese, and what else now?' Me, polite if irritated smile on my face - - lists off the seven other things - - 'Alright.' - - goes and gathers my order, then thrusts it out the window at me and snaps a quick 'have a nice day', shuts the window without even allowing me to respond in kind - - ... Fine. Whatevs. So myself and the rest of my son's and husband's meal (a scoop of mac and cheese each, with a smidge for me) - a treat for my son as a reward for being an awesome rockstar of a rad trooper, having had to have dental surgery done that early morning to give his adult teeth room to grow in, and our alcohol to relax with after an exhausting day of said dental surgery and a horrible Walmart trip - could FINALLY be home and eat the food that was already fifteen minutes or so in my dust, and relax. You know what I found in the food bag when I got home? Hey, a large cole slaw. Awesome! You know else? A soupy, pale orange mess that felt and tasted like barely warm enough to be considered slightly legal to serve. It tasted like revenge for making them give me the rest of the food THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. A BEHAVIOR AND EVENT, I MIGHT ADD, THAT I HAD COME TO EXPECT TO HAPPEN BECAUSE IT HAS EVERY OTHER TIME I'VE VISITED!!! KFC Oroville sucks. From now on, if my mom wants KFC, she has to go get it. I'm tired of the runaround cruddy attitude that I'm treated to every time I go there. read more

It's earned it's name in terms of fast food and it's earned it's place in fast service. However, OMG the amount of grease sitting on that chicken breast that's been sitting in that tray waiting for someone to buy it is off the chat disgusting. If you're starving and in a hurry, by all means, be my guest, but I would not recommend it, not even the sandwiches. The amount of grease and mayo on that sandwich will clog an artery faster than the service they provide. read more

Greasy fried chicken. Went there when it first opened a year or so ago and didn't think much of it so I haven't been back. Thought I'd try again today, but it hasn't improved over time. You get better chicken at Shakeys pizza. The mac & cheese must've set around a while too. Many years ago I do used to stop in Livermore often for their KFC. It was excellent. Where is the seasoning?? I purchased an 8-piece bucket of chicken 2 days ago. There was NO seasoning whatsoever on this chicken. KFC is supposed to have its distinct flavor that stands out and this had Absolutely nothing at all not even a hint of salt. Every time I give these guys a chance it's disappointing. The first time I returned to the drive through and they began to ask me "why am I back" I was so confused then another person spoke and said they mistakenly me for someone else. The manager didn't apologize for the weird encounter but started to defend her employee. Other occasions I have gone back and they seem to be a group of friends working there and speak to each other like it's a hang out instead of work. They talk inappropriately and loud super unprofessional. They have no customer service skills. Really doesn't seem like a place to buy food. bThe proportions has shrunk to 1/2 that it was six months ago and of course the price went up. My friend and I get KFC at least once a week, the last two times that we have gone through the drive thru we have had the same person Stephanie taking our order and at the window. She had been extremely rude, no manners, and it seemed to me like she didn't want to be there. She grabbed the money out of my hand rough and got upset when I didn't grab my food right away from her like we were interrupting her day. One of the other employees behind her is the one that told us to have a good day as she scowled at us. I love the food, but the service could have been so much better. I'm not impressed. read more

Bought a # 16 and #18 combo which comes with your entree, soda, and a cookie... what we got was our entree drink and no cookie...even says it on the receipt...on top of that they offered me no butter or honey for my biscuit...and not given any napkins with our order...pretty poor customer service...the only thing they got right was processing payment... read more
