That aside, I'm a bit of an authority in the subjects of fried, chicken: breasts, thighs, legs, and wings and biscuits -- all among my speciality. KFC is a mid-line fast food chain for chicken, and it has since I've was a kid. It outlasted the ol' Pioneer, and ranks up there with Church's and Popeye's. But truth be told, it's far behind Chick-Fil-A, and other specialty "bird" eateries. I went this time for a little fill: 3 chicken tender meal with a biscuit, drink, and mashed potato. I usually order online for pick up. The order has always been ready within 10 minutes and accurate. It's the same as any other KFC. The chicken is crispy and juicy. However, today, the biscuits were a little off. Maybe they were not as fresh. For fast food, I can't complain too much. Staff were too high to take my order. I had to repeat the simple order for an 8 PC chicken only 4 times with 2 different staff members! It seemed as if it were almost intentional, perhaps even racist. I don't review a lot, but this was shocking. read more

Once again we attempt to order the chicken pot pies that they advertise out front and they do not have any. So we change our order and when we are asked what drink we would like, we say lemonade which is on their menu but they are out of lemonade. And, if a biscuit comes with the order you better be sure to ask for butter and honey or you will not be given any. It seems like very poor management. read more

Stopped in with a buddy to have a quick bite to eat. The employees appeared to be working as a team, and the team member that took our order was very friendly and efficient. We didn't have to wait long before our order was ready. Our food was excellent - the chicken strips were well coated with a crispy & crunchy coating, and were moist and tender on the inside. Well finally went back to Kfc after about a year because service and the food is just not good. So Kfc is running a new promo now to try and get customers back. A free 8 piece bucket with a mobile order of $15.00. Place my order, arrived on time and had to wait 30 minutes for our food. So this is what it was like before. The food has not improved in quality. This is why we left before. They also gave us our food in to go boxes and we were dining in. Had no utensils or butter. Had to ask for that and plates. This is why we left before. Was in Thursday. Ordered on the app. App didn't have Diet Pepsi or Iced Tea as a drink option. They had both. They aren't updating the app when items come and go. And AGAIN no dipping sauces for my tenders. It's usually the sauce or a biscuit that is missing. Staff are friendly enough but don't, per most ff workers, realize what the gravity of being paid $20 means. It means you are in a privileged worker segment. You must do better. We did an online order hoping it would be ready when they said that it would be. We showed up when it was supposed to be ready. After we waited 5 minutes for an employee to even give us counter help, we were told it wasn't ready because they had to wait 3 minutes on biscuits. About 3-weeks ago my wife and I decided to go to KFC, in Paso. She got a mashed potato bowl and I got some chicken fingers. The chicken we got must have been cooked the day before cause it was the toughest chicken I'd ever had. I wasn't real happy, but it happens sometimes, I guess. So , today I thought we would try it again, BIG MISTAKE! I ordered 12 chicken fingers, and my wife's mash potato bowl. when I got to the window, the gal said , $41.50, that's what? I asked what the chicken fingers cost, she told me they were $31.50, in shock I said WHAT, again. I was amazed. The chicken fingers I had got in the past were very small, that's why I ordered 12 instead of 8 last time. That's about $2.65 per little tiny slice of chicken with more batter than chicken. needless to say , I said cancel those. I paid for the mash potato bowl, and biscuit, that was $12.00. Chicken was not cooked all the way. Our roommate originally got the chicken, mac & cheese and biscuits and ended up getting sick, but didn't realize what it was from. My husband took one bite and saw it was undercooked inside, he spit it out and we checked the rest and it was the same, the Mac and cheese smelled like plastic we didn't even try it, only the biscuits were edible. I'd just spent 7 hours in the hospital after being rear ended by a drunk driver the night before. My husband wanted taco bell and I was dying for chicken, so I hit the drive thru to be quick. It was SIX O'CLOCK in the evening, prime dinner rush time. I started my order asking for a large mashed potato and gravy, and was promptly cut off. "We don't have that". I paused for a second, "I'm sorry, you're out of mashed potatoes?" Got the 10 piece dark meat special with three sides, four biscuits, 64 ounce soda for $31.99 and our family enjoyed the meal. Staff was really nice and trying to help us to reassure our family had enough food and not trying to sell us more food than what we needed. Okay wow. Bucking the trend here I know... So we're in quarantine, I decide to try the Japanese Chicken Rice Instant Pot KFC recipe...so I need some chicken. I jump online, order a meal for $20 and set my pickup time. I drive to the drive thru and tell them I'm picking up an online order, it's ready. I drive to the window, a guy wearing a face mask and gloves hands me my order. It's SO much food for only $20 wow. I get home, try the chicken. I haven't had KFC in like 10 years at least. It's so good. And the mashed potatoes and gravy are as cheap and delicious and amazing as I remember. They wound up giving me an extra mashed potato instead of the coleslaw I was supposed to get, but since I really just wanted the chicken I am not too bummed. I did submit a complaint to their support center. Now granted I just wanted chicken, and I'd be way more upset if I had my heart set on coleslaw or biscuits, but still that chicken was just so good I don't know I can be all that pissed. We'll see how their support team handles my feedback but as far as the easy order process, and the easy pick-up....I'm still saying it was good. read more

We came here because the reviews are hilarious and, we wanted to see how bad this place truly could be. The reviews are true - they didn't have extra crispy chicken so we got original. The chicken was very oily, dry and lacked flavor completely! Also, they forgot to give napkins, honey and butter (for the biscuit). Finally, the Mountain Dew was watered down. On the positive, the service was quick. The person behind us was trying to order a big meal, and they said they didn't have enough hot wings for it. I stood at the counter for a while with employees making eye contact but not in much of a hurry to actually help me. There was no one in the restaurant and it was hard to find a clean table.
