This is a KFC/Taco Bell combo. WORST SERVICE EVER. I didn't write a poor review the first three bad experiences I had at this location. Not once was my order correct - either it was made incorrectly or missing items. I've always chalked it up to "you get what you pay for - you're at a Taco Bell". Today was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a drive thru. After an excruciatingly long drive back from Santa Monica, my colleague and I decided going home at 7:30pm and cooking for our families was not something we were up for. The drive normally takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours. After accidents I'm, roadwork, and every other obstacle, it was almost 4.5 hours in the car. I ordered a taco/burrito 10 pack for her family, and one for mine. The sun had set, so it was already dark out. Our vehicle was packed with equipment. We were exhausted. The gal at the window hands us two bags and says "here are the tacos in this one and here are the burritos in this one." No. We ordered two combo packs and they all had special stuff like "no onions" or "no sauce". We requested she separate them. They are going to different households. She says, "you can do it" . Now WE are being asked to do HER job. They were 1) not labeled correctly and 2) it was dark and we didn't have room in the car. 3) they are supposed to come in CARDBOARD PACKS. I have been ordering these for YEARS at Taco Bells all over the country. Not once have I had them handed to me in paper bags like I was at a discount grocery store. She said, "we are a franchise. We do things different." So I guess franchise Taco Bells don't train their staff to offer customer service or make orders correctly. I asked to speak to the manager. She said, "She is busy". There was ONE OTHER CAR and nobody inside. We will not be going back. I NEVER write negative reviews. I also work in a customer service driven industry. I am not always a fan of this platform because I feel like disgruntled karen's can hurt small businesses when they are simply told "no". This is NOT that situation. We will NOT be back. read more

5 stars for the service. This was my first time coming inside to order! Other times have been only drive thru experiences. Yes they are always busy especially in drive thru after school and dinner. Today I got to see the team in action inside and they were slammed. But they were smiling and very supportive of each other while they worked their way out of the weeds. I could tell the cashier MIA, on the drive thru was getting a lot of rude impatient customers on her ear piece but she kept her self composed and serviced Every one with a smile even taking orders inside. Even through their Miriam was also very kind at giving int me my order and sauces. Frickin terrible! Over 50$ for the 16pc family meal,we dont eat fast food often but I'm super sick so i ordered online and sent my sons to pick up, they got it all the way home and half the order was missing, no potatoes & gravy, dry old chicken, half full coleslaw and NO CHOCOLATE CAKE So I get dressed and personally drive all the way back into phelan to deal with the mess, staff couldn't care less! Great experience with this store and it all cumulated from the drive-thru. KFC Corporate should take notes from the attendant that ushered me in for my order. Her name is ARI and she displayed the most pleasant, cordial and professional attitude in making sure my order was correct and that my customer experience was TOP-NOTCH! I have been to the place numerous times and I have had bad experiences almost every time. I don't know why I keep trying to convince myself it will get better. Today the experience was extremely dissatisfying!! Two people in the drive through, one person in the lobby and I had a long wait!?! The employees were just hanging out in the back. This place is literally terrible. They never fail to forget an item that you ordered. Which is extremely annoying right now, considering inside is closed, and the best part is their phones never work so instead of calling for them to bring out the item they forgot, you get to wait in a super long line again while the rest of your food gets gold! If I could give these people zero stars I would, I just went through the drive-through and regardless of the line I am the customer and I get customer service... The guy at the window got my entire order wrong would not take the drink back and replace it for the one that I ordered, gave me the wrong side, and no sauces for my chicken are you kidding me !! I stop here maybe once every 3 months for a quick bite. When they first opened back in 2009, it was the worst fast food joint I've been to but over the years they have been able to keep some good employees so the place has improved. The food quality and consistency is a 3.5 out of 5. Average to good Taco Bell and KFC food. They usually do not have new or promotional items that a full KFC or TB would have but they do have coupons that are easy to find online. The inside of the restaurant is fairly clean along with the bathrooms. The menus are poorly designed as they do not have the entire menus they offer so you don't know how much something costs unless you ask or just order it. However, just a heads up if your are using the drive thru, KEEP YOUR WINDOWS ROLLED UP WHILE IN LINE! This place has an above ground septic system that produces a very nasty smell constantly. If they didn't have this I would have given them an extra star. read more

Septic tank right next to the drive-thru sort of takes my appetite away, but I ordered anyway. Ordered a potato taco from the menu and when I got to the window the cashier told me it would be almost $3.00. I explained I only wanted one taco and she said, "Sorry. Our prices went up." She was very rude about it. I left and when I got home I checked their prices online and sure enough, the taco should have been a dollar. Ok where do I begin this review. It seems like this location takes forever to get your food, that's number 1. Number 2 they usually get my order incorrect and of course when you want to call to bitch at them their phone conveniently doesn't work. I asked for a $5 fill up box from the kfc menu and I asked for honey and butter cos they usually don't give you any. Well this time I specifically asked for honey and butter only to find out once I get home I didn't get a f*****g biscuit. I get 2 cookies instead. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that I was getting 2 cookies cos I wasn't getting a biscuit. Your job isn't hard at all for you to always give people incorrect orders. I'm taking the time to write this long review because something needs to be done. If seems like the workers here don't give s***t about their job. If this is the case then you shouldn't be working. I'm soooooo disappointed with this place yet I keep giving you guys my hard earned money only to get incorrect orders. Just happened to stop by today after a trip to the El Mirage Dry lake with my boyfriend because we were very hungry. We ordered the 5 dollar value meal, and it took quite a long time for the food to come out, even though there was barely any customers. The worker named Heather was the only one who actually seemed to be working hard and was very friendly. All the other employees seemed like they didn't really care about their job. This location has the horrible misfortune of being near a sewage system outlet, so when the wind's right - or, more realistically, when it's wrong - the air reeks there. Fortunately, there's plenty of room in the non-stinky inside to eat your meal, and some of the nicer employees even offer table service (which they are not required nor paid extra to do, so kudos to the few who are kind enough). All in all, not a bad place to stop for a cheap lunch. Just be sure you hold your breath from the car to the door. read more

The management needs lots of help and training would be so beneficial to the store and the employees. They have no teamwork between themselves and the management is almost like talking to an enemy instead of what their job actually is for. I went to this KFC location the other night and I ordered the family meal. The person at the window gave me the wrong total at first that's not a big deal but when I got my food to mash potato and the gravy The lids weren't even put on right so I had gravy all over my food and my car my coleslaw didn't even come with a lid so I didn't even eat it.
