Found that their Manager's Special this past Tuesday (June 2) was a great value. I enjoyed the 8 dark pieces (4 thighs and 4 drumsticks) along with 4 biscuits, mashed potatoes & gravy, and coleslaw for the next 3 meals! They were blasting music which helped to drown out the swearing man passing out in his food, but it was giving me a headache so we requested to get our food to go. Oh no! I just went to this KFC for the first time, spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Something I have not had an issue with at other KFC locations. I absolutely love food so I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I couldn't even swallow the french fries once I chewed them up they tasted so bad. The texture was rubbery And the flavor was stale. First of all, I never go to KFC because I don't understand why they're so expensive. I went last night because the kids begged me. The chicken was fine, no complaints there. But the side dishes were horrible. The fries had obviously old fries that had been refried. They were hard and rubbery and tasted weird. If I'm eating chicken, it is usually from Popeye's, Church's or Bush's. I hadn't had KFC in quite some time though, so I decided to stop by the other week to get some grub. I went with their $5.00 fill up (It was $5.50 at this location though...they had stickers over the menu board stating $5.50. A little odd, but whatever.) meal with the chicken strips. This box came with 3 chicken tenders, a medium sized potatoes (bigger than a small, single serving, but not quite as large as a "family size"), a biscuit, a drink and a chocolate chip cookie. Here is how it was................ Chicken Strip Fill Up Box- First thing I noticed was how large the chicken strips were. On past KFC adventures, the chicken strips were always small and skimp (always tasted alright, but were always small). These things were massive compared to past ones. Moist and not dried out, and the batter has that noticeable "secret herbs and spices" taste. I much prefer the strips at the other 3 chicken places I mentioned, but these were still good. The mashed potatoes were great! Nice rich gravy and the serving size was large for the combo. The biscuit was just meh. I think KFC biscuits have gone downhill in quality. They say "buttermilk biscuit", but there is hardly any butter or tang flavor that is synonymous with buttermilk! Drink was a drink. Pepsi. The chocolate chip cookie to end the meal wasn't bad. Decent for a fast food joint. Overall, it was an alright meal. The amount of food for about $6.00 was well worth it. Chicken strips were tasty, potatoes were great and I enjoyed my lunch. Not sure if I am rushing to come back here, but if a KFC craving hits, this place is close to work and I'm sure I'll be back at some point. read more

Delivery food has gone downhill precipitously just lately. KFC is a prime example. You order thighs, you get what the restaurant feels like giving you. No more option to "cancel the entire order". This (the last ever) time I ordered 3 thighs "Original Recipe", I got two horrible scrawny thighs with maybe their "extra crispy", maybe something else, entirely tasteless, thighs with 2 drumsticks. At another time they just sent 3 drumsticks, no thighs. And so on. It's a shame. Not long ago you could get 3 delicious Original Recipe thighs. No more. I wouldn't even give this location 1 star if at all possible as far as their service goes. They all need to take customer service classes. First of all they were blaring music over the intercom when I drove up and wouldn't even stop while I was trying to order - they kept turning it off and on while I was trying to speak. When I specifically ordered and paid for an extra side of mashed potatoes and it wasn't put in my bag and didn't realize it until I got home, I tried calling the store but no one ever answered. So my friend who was going to eat with us stopped on her way from work to get the extra side of mashed potatoes for me and was treated so terribly by a person who acted like she was a manager but wouldn't even give her name. She even went as far as calling my friend "stupid". She told her that people like us were always trying to get free food - but it was their error. The person who took my order didn't even put the receipt in my bag - so I had no proof but I was definitely charged for them.
