I literally cannot wrap my head around the fact that KFC - in general - is still in business. I just can't. I have yet to go to a KFC that isn't a complete cluster. This is no exception. The folks here, while I'm sure they are super busy and probably irritated for whatever reason, are just not friendly. In fact, they are rude. Maybe not everyone that works there - but the ones we have encountered? Yes. Not friendly. Mistakes made. Food takes forever. Not one ounce of customer service skills. I used to be a regular customer of this restaurant. The service has gotten terrible. I placed an order online. What a mistake. No option to pay cash when you pick up your order. The app said my order was ready. I went to pick it up. The restaurant had no record of my order. The person at the counter was extremely rude. I wanted to know how to get a refund. He said he was too busy to tell me how to get a refund. The next day I called the company that owned the restaurant. They said they couldn't or wouldn't help me. I had prof that my credit cart had been charged. I the spent the time to call KFC. com to get customer service, I spent 25 minute with the customer service person that couldn't speak English. She found all my information finally and then said she was going to transfer me to another person to work through my case. At that point it was obvious that they weren't going to to help at all. I waited another 10 minutes on hold, the I hung up. The restaurant at 491 Main St Saco was horrible. Speaking to the owner was a waste of time. Calling Corporate KFC was a complete waste of time. We have visited this spot a lot on some nights to grab supper very quick when I haven't wanted to make a whole meal. There are several items my daughter likes. The menu changes and occasionally this location is out of items you want (ie. No coleslaw one day, and no popcorn chicken once.) The lunch hour you can usually be served quicker. The service is usually welcoming and speedy. Occasionally there's a long line or slow service. For the most part the are worth the stop!! read more

We got an 8 piece original bucket and 6 piece Nashville Chicken. The Nashville Chicken tastes nothing like Nashville hot chicken - instead it is a greasy, oily mess. The original chicken was NOTHING like what you expect from KFC. It was incredibly dark, insanely greasy and the meat was grey. It's time to change the oil, KFC. I just stopped at this location, ordered an 8 piece chicken tender, no meal, just chicken, and a small popcorn chicken. The bill came to $31.59 I was a little shocked and asked if they were accurate they stated that the 8 piece chicken alone was $22.99 I don't like to think of myself as cheap, but $23 dollars for 8 mediocre overcooked chicken tenders is ridiculous. I went to a high quality seafood restaurant on the beach, and paid $17 for a chicken tender meal with fries, coleslaw and a drink. Ordered the family sandwich bundle for 25$ it was a good deal. The bathroom was impeccably clean. The staff were polite. The food took a bit longer than we had anticipated (the kfc on broadway in Bangor is much quicker and still efficient) but it was made correctly, with no issues. read more

I have been to this KFC quiet a few times and every time I have gone its a bad experience. Sunday Jan 16 I decided my last time there. I will have to drive to a farther KFC for a better customer experience. This KFC I have found that the employees don't care, They are young and unsure who is the manager but I have had instances where the wait was so long that the employees one decided to stop taking orders and not warn people so people would be sittinf at the drive thru. they are short staffed so at times shut down would be earlier than expected. This past Sunday I went and the long wait was still but when I Drove around to park and go inside to possibly place an order. The employees were out smoking cigarettes and I also smelled weed. I walk inside for the first time and the place is nasty inside. Unsure who the general manager is but most definitely time to clean up and organize the staff there. I have nothing great to say about the Saco KFC. I also called on Tuesday to make a complaint and the individual who stated they were the general manager had no sense of customer service or relation skills. He basically defuted what I was saying because he works in the mornings and never heard of any complaint. I told him they need to check their cameras and he mentioned that his mom has access to the cameras. I am writing this so people can be aware of my experience. This is not even worth the 1 star rating that I have to put in. I have never had a great experience at this KFC. read more

Not the first time I've been disappointed at this location. I wanted to try the "new" wings so I ordered 12 honey BBQ. The gentleman behind the counter was kind and jovial. The young lady who brought my order up carelessly dropped it on the counter. The container the wings are in was covered in greasy fingerprints and I nearly dropped it pulling it out of the bag. Its disgusting and off putting. I threw away my receipt at the restaurant, as I figured it's pretty hard to screw up wings. The wings I received were soggy, cold, and appears that they had just been marinating in that container for an extended period of time. The BBQ is completely different and is way too spicy, it's a honey chipotle. Lost my appetite altogether after 3 wings. I stopped in to order yesterday and I needed to place two separate orders for me and my friend. The person on the window then said one second and left for 5 minutes. When someone returned we made our order, for my order I wanted a biscuit not home fries, they asked you want a biscuit no home fries? I said yes no homefries but a biscuit instead(since they didn't seem to get it or hear me or something) and we pulled up and waited another 10 minutes behind another car waiting for their food. When we finally got our food, my friend ordered two bowls, and one without corn. When she handed me the bag she said the one without corn is on the bottom, I said no corn on bottom? She said yes. When I got home I opened up my bag, and had no biscuit but had the home fries I said I didn't want three times. My friend ate her bowl with corn on top and gave her mom hers and it had corn which she can't eat and was missing her cookie.
