The guys very rule, said f*** with customer

I was out and about with family and stopped in here to pick up a family bucket to take home. Place was not busy at all it being a late Sunday afternoon. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. I was in and out pretty quickly. Food was typical KFC, good and hot.

    5 piece tender meal.

This is a small little KFC on Miramar Road. Drive thru option available but the lot is tiny. It's a bit tricky as there is a intersection right where the drive thru is located and it's labeled with signs to keep the area clear. So in essence you're gonna be blocking some area off waiting to get into the drive thru. Anyway the drive thru was quick enough to get the food. The Miramar Road traffic is tricky to get back on so traffic seems to be the theme here.

The store doesn't feel as clean as I would have liked it to. The staff were nice enough. The chicken was good

Original wing that's dry and very small.

I had a taste for chicken and my girlfriend had a taste for tacos. I went to the Miramar Road location where it's a KFC/ Taco Bell store. I ordered a 8 pieces mixed chicken original, 12 hot wings no sauce, and 3 Supreme Taco meal . The drive thru guy seemed nice and the order was correct, but the food was all old and dried out. Unfortunately I paid $47.54 for some dried over the heating lamp chicken. I really don't understand fast food places these days in how they can serve customers food that is inedible. It's easier to throw away old food, than to give it to a customer that works hard for his money and will complain later about your lousy food. I was not in a rush to wait for fresh chicken and there was no line in front of me or behind me. I feel that the manager needs to be more aware of what is going on so that old food can be thrown away on a timely basis . Please get better KFC, because Popeyes are more reliable in cooking food fresh.

I was very surprised to see majority of the reviews were 1 to 2 maybe 3 stars, so my first instinct was that this place will disappoint me as well, but in the back my mind I never try to judge before I try. The first thing that I recognized was everything was very clean and very neat when I walk in. I have been to many KFC's that look a lot worse. After scanning through the menu I chose the smoky mountain barbecue chicken combo which comes with their steak fries and a drink. I will admit when opening my sandwich wrapper up it was a little sloppy, the sauce and spilled out and was all over the wrapper, but that is really not a huge issue to me, As I grab the sandwich I realized that it was extremely hot and cooked fresh, I'm talking about where it almost burn my mouth when I took my first bite, same thing with the steak fries so I immediately thought in my head I'm surprised, I would expect kind of like a McDonald's where they have a whole bunch of these sandwiches ready and raring to go, but that was not the case here. The employees were very kind and patient with me as I scanned through the menu, the woman that took my order asked if I could be helped with any questions that I had with a smile on her face. Overall my food came out in around four minutes, I will say it was very tasty, hot and fresh . I will definitely return just because of the facts that I have stated !

Chicken strips that is mix with cut chicken thigh! Not as advertiste!

So I went and order a chicken strip today which was really pricey. I was thinking it should be the same as other food chain were chicken strips are tasty (dry and bland). As we drove back home and was opening the box, I was shock that the strip they was merely a whole thigh of chicken cut into pieces! What??? This chain should be responsible of what they advertise. Stand firm to what you advertise. Never would I go back to this branch anymore...

    Just standing here waiting

Terrible. Stood for 10 minutes waiting to just get some sauce, no one came or acknowledged. Food was good tho

Messed up our order. Had an attitude with my son, who was picking up the order, and then shorted a cheesecake order.

(Dined/Drank 06/10/26 WE @ 5:00pm): Gravity kept me from elevating to new heights at this brewery!…read more A friend recommended Gravity Heights' Sorrento Valley location to get caught with each other, but she ended up bailing at the last minute due to work. If you knew me, I always searched for breweries wherever I may be, so I was stoked to visit a brewery new to me. Founded in early 2019 by Arturo Kassel (Whisknladle CEO) and Skip Virgilio (AleSmith co-founder) by a chance encounter, Kassel wanted to move away from typical industrial taprooms and create a space with elevated food and a bright, coastal aesthetic that appealed to the tech-heavy workforce in the area. In 2024, they have since opened a second location in nearby Mission Valley. To what heights did gravity allow me to enjoy this brewery!? PURCHASE(S) Gravity Heights Sandbar Golden Ale Blonde Beer 5.2% ABV 16floz Draft ($8.00 HH): Bright golden amber color, citrusy malty piney aroma, light body, citrusy malty piney flavor, crisp refreshing finish, and citrusy malty slight bitter aftertaste. Shrimp Aguachile ($11.00 HH): A big portion of mixed avocado, cilantro, red onion, and shrimp with homemade tortilla chips, this ceviche-like dish was fresh, hearty, and a meal on its own - amazing! Gravity Heights June Gloom Hazy NEIPA Beer 7.0% ABV 16floz Draft ($8.00 HH): Bright hazy amber color, citrus hoppy tropical aroma, light body, citrus hoppy tropical flavor, juicy finish, and citrus hoppy tropical aftertaste. Paloma Cocktail ($10.00 HH): Crafted with Real Del Valle blanco tequila, grapefruit and lime juices, simple syrup, and soda water, this was refreshing and went down way too quickly. Gravity Heights Haulin' Oats Oatmeal Stout Beer 5.3% ABV 16floz Draft ($8.00 HH): Dark brown color, chocolate coffee roasty aroma, heavy body, beany coffee roasty flavor, drying finish, and beany roasty slight bitter aftertaste. 12" Diablo Pizza 6pc ($23.00): Made with tomato sauce, fontina and mozzarella cheeses, spicy calabrese, jalapenos, pickled fresnos, and chili flakes on a somewhat thin crispy crunchy slightly charred crust, this made my mouth tingle from the first bite and i loved it! Kind of pricey, though. Logo Beer Pint Glass ($10.00): I needed some local brewery glassware for the new place, so this seemed like as good a time as any. SERVICE Warmly greeted by two gentlemen behind the bar as I parked my ass on a barstool, I was given menus and a rundown of their happy hour which was going on (yes!). I quickly took advantage of the happy hour specials before they ended. My initial drink arrived immediately while everything else was received just as quickly. The place was packed, so I was amazed by the attentive service (I was frequently checked on as empties were removed). Once I was done, there was no pressure to vacate my stool - outstanding! PARKING (FREE): Although they had their own decent-sized lot, it was full, so thankfully I found a spot on the nearby street (carefully read all posted street signs; I had to in this case!) - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A clean modern open spacious layout with plenty of both standard interior seating and exterior covered patio seating with a large central well-appointed bar. Minimal to no promotional items were present. This place was impressive! Plenty of natural lighting in this quasi-exposed floorplan while an assortment of electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several muted TVs mainly at the bar and throughout while classic rock & roll music played in the background. ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I had a wonderful time at Sorrento valley's Gravity Heights and would visit again... or at least the Mission Valley location which was closer to me. They had plenty of beers on tap, the food was tasty, the prices were relatively comparable, the food menu was plentiful, and the service was great. Unsure if furry family members were allowed. Daily happy hour specials (3pm-6pm) and almost certain nightly entertainment such as trivia, music, and more was available. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $84.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

We ordered way too much food and it was all delicious. We somehow ended up with 30 wings, fries, kimchi fried rice, and cheese corn for 3 people. It was a lot. Tons of leftovers which reheated well. Favorites were the Saigon wings, then sweet and spicy. Kimchi fried rice was super flavorful but I was not a fan of the chicken in it. Didn't expect chicken and it was quite dry. Corn cheese was delicious and the fries were skinny and crispy. I didn't like that there was an ant on the table and flies that also landed on our food. I worry about the food hall as it has seen multiple businesses start up and then fold because of the inconsistent customer volume. I think it's a nice stop for those who work nearby and want to pick up lunch from one of the vendors. After working hours however, it becomes a ghost town which has led to the closure of the two eateries that were set up directly in front of the food hall. I came by a month ago to pick up some food to go. The main menu had four to six choices in the categories of appetizers, sides, soups, vegetables, chow mein, and fried rice. The protein-based entrees featured BBQ pork, beef, chicken, and shrimp. Of these, chicken had the most available selections. There was also a separate menu listing the daily specials. Nearly all of them cost less than $10 and then you could add an appetizer and fountain drink for an additional $4.85. My pick was the BBQ Pork Chow Mein. The black takeout container was filled and given to me in about ten minutes. The portion size was decent for the price which was less than $15. The pork pieces were on the fattier side. The flavor wasn't too salty as some places can load up on MSG, but that wasn't the case here. The quality of this item was middle of the road average which was why I gave a three star rating for my takeout experience at Little Chef.
