KFC has fallen out of the top ranks among fast food chicken chains in the U.S. Popular brands like Raising Cane's, Wingstop, Chick-fil-A, and Popeyes are often ranked higher by consumers and media. The decline of KFC is due to decrease quality, increase price, and poor customer service. The quality of their fried chicken has declined. Not only are the chicken pieces smaller, they are more soggy, and the batter doesn't even stay on the chicken. The chicken I got on this day was a disaster. The drumsticks were split open. How did they even do that? KFC doesn't have many special deals either. Their best deal is the 8 piece special for $10 on Tuesday. This is a really great deal except sometimes you don't get 8. They gave me 7 pieces (2 thighs and 5 drumsticks) on this occasion. Customer service is where all fast food chains can improve, especially KFC. Most of the time, service is really slow. The store near 71st and Memorial Dr. in Tulsa is by far the worst store in the history of KFC. The employees are poorly trained. They can't process a simple refund. The young man bagging my order was rubbing his nose and using the tongs for chicken to open the mini oven doors. I was so disgusted. The manager / supervisor Ashley was nowhere to be found to complain in person. I used the App for my order so of course you pay in advance and still my order was not ready until almost 30 minutes later. This was unacceptable. Steer clear of this location if you want your food in a timely manner and don't want to get sick. This was my 5th and last time giving these folks another chance to make things right. My order was missing items when I got home. I went inside for my food . The restaurant was dirty and disgusting with an open drain and trash on the floor. Yes I took pictures ! There were 5 people on the team working and still the food was not ready in a timely manner. If I owned this store I would definitely fire whoever is in charge of training. read more

Prior to this dinner venture, I hadn't gone to a KFC in over a decade, so I didn't really know what to expect, what the best sides are, I had a distant memory of liking the potatoes. I got to the parking lot 35 minutes before close with my friend, and pulled into a parking space to go over the menu before pulling into the drive thru, because I personally think it's rude to be like, pulling into the drive thru, and not having any idea what you what, and reading/discussing the whole menu there. It's bad enough we were there so close to closing, in my mind. Ordered two six piece beyond chicken nugget meals. One with a side of fries, one with a side of mashed potatoes with no gravy (they put gravy on it anyway, so I scooped the top part with the gravy off and the dogs really liked the mashed potatoes and gravy, said it was delicious, they were very grateful), and an order of two biscuits a la carte. They nice girl at the drive thru said they make everything to order, so she asked me to pull around to the double doors in front of the parking lot after we paid for our order (so we wouldn't hold up the line). She was very polite and pleasant, and wore a mask and gloves. Our food came out within about 5-8 minutes, which isn't bad at all. When we got back to my friend's place and I opened the box for my food, I really wasn't expecting to enjoy the nuggets that much. I thought they'd just be okay, but nothing special. I was very wrong I regretted not getting the bigger order of nuggets and repurposiving the side as dog treats, because the nuggets are where it's at! The biscuits are disappointing, the mashed potatoes I remember being a lot better than they are, but the nuggies? Mmm mmm! Yumtown, population: Beyond Chicken Nuggets. I really hope they add them to the permanent menu. Also, this specific location needs to do something about their drive thru lane, where it curves through gets very narrow for part of it, and if it seemed that way in my little civic, someone with an SUV would find it really squishy. I placed an order for our dinner this evening 3/16/23 on KFC website. It was paid for & my husband went to pick up the order. When he arrived at KFC, on East 21st Street near Garnett, they didn't have our order. So my husband placed our order again. When he was placing our order, the worker seemed to be confused about the crispy or original chicken. My husband ordered two 3 piece chicken dinners with mashed potatoes & gravy, coleslaw & biscuit. When he came back home, there was no coleslaw. Biscuits were dry, potatoes seemed to be mixed with water instead of milk. Breading on the chicken, other than tasting like salt, there was no taste of seasoning. The last time we ordered from KFC, last year, our order was messed up then. So this is the last time we will order from the above location or any KFC location. KFC's in general has been going downhill for years. In the early 1970's, 1980's & 1990's KFC was delicious. Perhaps over the years due to cutbacks, the caliber of workers & inflation has caused the poor quality of KFC. read more

This location is a disaster. Two workers, an employee and manager, got into a shouting match while running the register. And the manager just kept shouting back, even in front of customers. Very unprofessional. As for the food, original chicken here is the greasiest I've ever had it at any KFC..skin split, oil oozing out of it (see photos). Flavor was old oil. So bad. I forced myself to eat it and my stomach hated me for it. Plus I hate the dining room here, all that space wasted on the giant chicken bucket table. It just feels cramped and claustrophobic. I did give them one extra star for value, since they honor their Monday and Wednesday $1.99 specials. But stick with the drive-thru. read more

I had a survey coupon for a free Chicken Sandwich when you buy a drink, so I thought I'd try it. The cashier was very nice & I got my order fast. The "Chicken" was nothing more than a big tender strip on a bun, and it was mostly breading, cold, stale, tough and chewy. It was more bun than chicken! They charge almost 5 bucks for this?? To show how cheap their corporate philosophy is, at the bottom of this receipt it had a place for another survey coupon, but it was blank. When I asked about that I was told that it doesn't print a survey if you used a coupon. Amazing. Since I couldn't do the survey, I came here to vent and warn others. read more

KFC WEST TULSA! By far the worst KFC I've ever eaten and my family owns one. First we wait 35 mins for what was to be 12 mins for 12 piece wings. Now while we waited 4 people went in and out with there orders. After I got home and ate a wing ,I called back and spoke to the most ignorant and rude so-called Manager ever Brittany! Clearly she doesn't respect constructive criticism about there food.I told her the grease tasted old, she was offended and assured me it wasn't old grease so I told her then the wings must have bee OLD because it tasted AWFUL! As much as I love KFC, this location has continually disappointed. Unfortunately it is the closest one to my home, otherwise I would go to a different location. The man's name is Cassius! He is a happy man with a unique way of taking my order in the drive-thru lane. The only reason for any complaint is the difficulty I had getting into this locations parking lot and they NEVER EVER EVER have PotPies ready when they open. Never!!!!!
