Well, I ordered at the counter at 3:59 PM, and took a seat at a table. It's now 4:18PM and I'm still waiting for my order to come out. when my order finally did come out I opened up the box and there were only two chicken tenders, they were supposed to be three. Try again Slim Chickens you're not doing so well today.

Slim chickens is a convenient stop in Broken Arrow for a quick meal. I like the sides/sauces best. Chicken is good, but other chicken spots have superior tenders in my opinion. I love the fried pickles though! And the buffalo Mac n cheese is unique to the chicken joint choices, and it's delicious. Staff have always been nice. And it's spacious inside if you want to dine in.

Had to make a pit stop here with the kiddos... we absolutely munched on some tenders after the lunch rush. It is busy here constantly considering it's in a great location. It's a pretty good size restaurant to accommodate your family of littles, I only had my two. I recommend some other things they offer like a side salad and the potato salad if fries and slaw aren't your thing. They offer wings, chicken sandwiches, and chicken and waffles. That place down the street from here, is just as good. But we'll talk about that later ;) My daughter said the peach tea is pretty good!!

We ordered fried pickles with our entrees. By the time we got our drinks and sat down it was coming out of the kitchen Everything was hot and tasty. Thanks Slim Chickens for dinner tonight

Great chicken tenders and such. Not necessarily better than chic fila or Zaxby's but definitely equally as good. Big portions on the tender meals. The sandwich was great but portion size was smaller. The cayenne ranch was great as a sauce. Really liked the ranch and their slimm sauce too. The jar desserts were fantastic. Tried the pumpkin cheesecake and the chocolate . Both were great. If I lived close by I would be here too often. Great fast food chicken! *only thing I didn't love was the mac and cheese. Others at the table loved it- personal preference i guess.

I eat here often but normally get a wrap with Buffalo sauce on the chicken. This weekend I decided to try something new. I got the chicken and waffle. I don't normally eat their chicken plain, and don't plan to again. It has no flavor. I was surprised at the lack of flavor on the breading. The waffle was ok- a bit soggy. We had to wait on my sons sandwich to be cooked and my waffle was on the bottom of the bag so I think it sitting for so long in the bag made it soggy. My husbands fries were also soggy for the same reason. I would recommend to the business that if waiting on an item to cook, not to pack up the other items until it is ready so that food doesn't sit and get soggy from condensation. I highly recommend the wrap with sauce, but not chicken by itself due to the lack in flavor.

Finally gave this place a try. It's kind of a mix of Raising Canes and Buffalo Wild Wings. They definitely have a bigger menu than Raising Canes. We tried their garlic Parmesan wings, and we didn't really like them. The wings were fried well, but the sauce wasn't as good as Buffalo Wild Wings. We probably should have just tried Buffalo wings instead. The cayenne ranch chicken sandwich, on the other hand, was good. It's nice to have lots of sides to choose from. Will need a few more visits to figure out which are the ones that I like.

After a day of traveling back to Tulsa, my son and I yet again stopped into Slim chickens to try it out like i said i would. He again loved it, but I sadly have to get this restaurant one star. I will not be returning. The product just does not taste fresh at all. The french fries taste like they were thrown into a deep fryer from a frozen bag of potatoes that had been sitting in the freezer for over six months. And I decided to try to keep it safe and order chicken tenders. I got them tossed in buffalo sauce, but had to spit out fat pieces the entire time I was eating them. I did like the Ranch, so that was helpful I suppose.

The hamburgers are outstanding -- juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how you order them. You can tell they use quality beef, and the toppings are fresh. Also tried the fish. The beer batter is light, crispy, and golden without being greasy. The fish inside is flaky and tender, and the portion size is more than satisfying. Paired with their house tartar sauce and a side of crispy fries, it's comfort food done right. This tavern hits that sweet spot: great food, good prices, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely a place you'll want to come back to again and again.

Having reservations helped, and our table was ready upon arrival. Our server, Rebel, was the standout of the entire experience. She handled our large group single-handedly, keeping orders organized and service on point the whole time. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.

Today was their redemption day. Again, our server was spot on great. My wife ordered the 7oz. Filet (medium rare) with baked potato and house salad. I ordered their "Famous" French Dip sandwich with fries. My wife said the steak was good, but a little more on the rare side. The potato was good and had the salt encrusted skin. She said the salad was good and it was accompanied by a very tasty croissant (which I stole from my wife). My suggestion is to provide those croissants as a gimme for every table, since no bread was served to snack on until the meal arrived. My French dip was loaded with shaved medium rare to medium prime rib. It should be loaded considering the price of $25 for a sandwich. The Au Jus was salty, just the way it should be. The sandwich was great. The fries were ok, a little on the cool side. Again, our server was phenomenal. She did not let a drink go dry and was not intrusive while we were eating. She would show up with the drink refills, then ask if we needed anything. She truly seemed like she loves her job. We're still not sure if we will patronize this establishment again, because you can get the same quality of food at Texas Roadhouse for half the price and unlimited, free hot rolls. YMMV, this was our experience.

We went on a Thursday afternoon at 4:00, so we didn't expect it to be busy. There were a few people there but not a bunch. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and shown to a booth. Our waitress brought our menus and silverware right behind the hostess. She asked if we knew what we wanted to drink and I ordered Decaf Coffee. My wife deferred to later once she knew what she was going to eat. The coffee arrived a few minutes later and I placed my order for the Belgian Waffle, 2 eggs scrambled, Hash Browns, and 2 Sausage Links. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy and regular coffee. First before I forget, I am somewhat of a portly fellow. I carry about 70 pounds more than my doctor likes, and it's all right above my belt. Remember that the hostess put us in a booth, which usually is a challenge for me, because of my extra tire that I carry. But I was pleasantly surprised that this booth was spacious. It had plenty of room for us extra large folks without trying to move the table. The coffee, was good. Remember that I drink decaf coffee, so when I say it was good, thats saying a lot. I even asked the waitress if she had forgotten and brought me regular coffee and she assured me it was decaf. When the food arrived, I was so impressed by how good it looked, I forgot to take a photo, so the attached photo shows what was left when I was full. The waffle was the main thing I was after. I love waffles, and it's hard to find a good waffle. The menu claims they are Belgian Waffles, and I cannot disagree. They tasted like the Belgian Waffles I had in Paris, so I believe they are. The has browns normally don't rate a mention, but these hash browns were soft and not crunchy, and tasted like I expected hash browns to taste, from the first bite to the last. The eggs were scrambled well, which I would have preferred loose, but that's my fault for not specifying. I also ordered link sausage which was cooked as it should be. Next time I'll order bacon. The reason I avoided the bacon is that most places either burn it or leave it partially raw. Based on how the rest of my meal was cooked, I expect the bacon will be cooked right. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

I hope the owner and manger reconsider who they hire to represent the restaurant the own/run. With the days of social media this could really hurt their business. Second, this thing was the small portion?! They hand bread everything there, and you can tell. It breading wasn't too heavy nor too greasy. The gravy was solid.
