Oh my goodness gracious deliciousness! This place hit the spot for garlic shrimp. The place we went to before unfortunately closed, but this was right across the street. So sad I did not order more food here, but I was stuffed. The sauce was perfect and the dish pipping hot and amazing. The garlic on top of the rice was perfect, the shrimp was coated in sauce and cooked to perfection. The slaw was vinegary and refreshing. Wished it had some mac salad but I do know this is a Thai place. I wanted to get the pad Thai so badly but maybe some other time. It was ordered, cooked and ready in a reasonable time and so fresh and cooked to order. We do have a Thai market near me but I wish we had a food truck like this! Best beef salad I've ever had in my whole entire life. Spicy shrimp was great, cabbage slaw was fresh and paired well with the shrimp. Perfect amount of spice, food fresh and made to order, kind owners. This place does not pander to the Western taste buds and is authentic!!!! This place has all of your Thai favorite, including drinks, mango sticky rice, pad thai, drunken noodles and items for more curious palettes as well. This is a food truck, there are a few tables to sit. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures! But I ordered the spicy garlic shrimp and substituted the rice for noodles. The noodles could have had a bit more sauce, but when I finished my shrimp I mixed the noodles in that sauce. The shrimp was amazing, definitely coming back before I go back home. While I was looking for some place in Haleiwa to eat, I came across Khan & Phim and it had good ratings and the food looked so good. My cousin & aunty were visiting from the mainland and we were adventuring out on that side so we decided to give them a try. There's not much parking around there, but there was a little parking lot a little ways down and luckily we found a stall. My mom & I shared a garlic shrimp plate and the sober noodles. The garlic shrimp was tasty, not exactly like Giovanni's, but they gave a lot of shrimp. The sober noodles were so good. Thick noodles with beef & veggies. And I got to try my cousins papaya salad. North Shore at night is a little difficult to navigate and we zoomed right by them before we realized we passed. They do have lighting and seating available, a little small and dirty but it works. This was our first night in Haleiwa at our first time ever staying in an AirB&B. No food yet at our new place, so needed to find somewhere to eat. We thought Thai would be a good ethnic start. We actually were looking for a different place, but found this instead. A lucky find. We both ordered drunken noodles with shrimp. I'm always going to give this place a 5 star. The hospitality is always warming. I enjoy this shrimp truck because their shrimp is different then most. I appreciate the shrimp peel not being stuck to the shrimp. It's easy to pull off. I've visited plenty of shrimp trucks on this island and for some reason the shrimp peel is stuck on the shrimp so you have to eat the whole thing...not good. I'm visiting from California where there's tons more excellent Thai spots so with this in mind, to me this spot is just OK, not brilliant as you might find from the Yelp aggregate of 4.5 stars. I had to order the pad thai which is one of my favorite noodle dishes and sadly, not only was the portion small but the flavors were somewhat lacking. It kind of reminded me of just noodles with ketchup and hoisin sauce. I may stop by again and try other dishes but this was an OK spot for the hungry crowd in my opinion. They didn't even take a name at the time of ordering so they just lookout for you in the seating area which is benches in front of this food truck. Food came out in 10-15 mins as there was not much of a wait. They do take credit cards but they clearly encourage you to pay with cash (even during pandemic) as they have a large sign posted NO fees / NO taxes when you pay CASH. Parking is a little tricky since it's not like the area has parking lots but just down the street in the shopping centers you can park and walk it down the street. read more

Found this place in North Shore where most of the food trucks are parked. When in Hawaii, definitely need to eat at a food truck. Most of the food trucks are located on the main street of Haleiwa. The service was quick and friendly. For ambience, it's a food truck located on the side of the street and close to the road with a lot of cars passing by. It was a Sunday and there were plenty of cars passing by. The good news is that they had a few picnic tables in front to sit. The food was tasty. Discovered this food truck by accident searching for a place to eat. Literally stumbled into this place and soooo glad we did! Took a drive out to Haleiwa for some fresh air amidst the COVID lockdown and needed a quick place to run in and grab food. As we were walking I tripped on a big rock and picked myself up and got a smell . I knew I wanted pad Thai but couldn't decide if I wanted plain or chicken or beef or shrimp or seafood... opted for the seafood. It was so tasty I couldn't stop eating it. I'm not a fan of spicy so it was perfect. I would suggest if you like hot then ask for it to be spicy. So much calamari, shrimp and chunks of fish. I'd make the drive from wahiawa to eat here again. I came here for garlic shrimp, thinking it was the one that I bookmarked. While we were eating, I turned around and saw the actual blue truck I was looking for. It made a lot of sense since the plate I ordered didn't look like what I was expecting. But how could you go wrong right? Meh I was just super disappointed. I ordered the spicy shrimp, which wasn't spicy or very flavorful at all. I mostly can't believe it was almost $14 for 6 pieces of shrimp! I'm okay paying that price if it's actually a tasty dish. I've had worse food of course but I think I was just disappointed that I didn't pick any of the other shrimp places on this side of the island, or just go back to the one we enjoyed last time. We have eaten here several times and it is always good. Love the amount of food they give you for the price too! I had the Holy Basil with Shrimp this time and it was awesome. I love spicy food but be careful which spice order you give them. There is 5 to choose from and even though the hot falls in the middle of the scale it is hot! The pad Thai is creamy , and moist. It's creamy sauce coats the noodles for each bite. Overall the sauce isn't overly sweet but well balanced. The ONLY shrimp truck I dream about again and again when I leave the island of Oahu. Hale'iwa is filled with a bunch of tourist restaurants with tacos, pizza, and burgers. Yet, nestled between those is this extraordinary blue food truck with the tastiest garlic shrimp I've ever had. The spicy isn't for the faint of heart but I would recommend that one over the regular garlic. You will leave wanting nothing but this for the rest of your trip. Like most island shrimp the shells are on so the meat absorbs the flavor, so get ready to peel and eat. Your rice needs to be bangin as itll help me determine if a return visit is warranted for other menu items. Verdict: Paid $10.00, as you can see in my pic the portion and presentation is skimpy. Tasted only like oily and peppery rice and not even Thai(is this even Thai?) Many 5 stars here but many tourists were there too, so I think part of it is the superior location snug conveniently in the middle of many North Shore Attractions. We had one amazing dish and one disappointing dish here - hence this conflicted review! The service was friendly and fast, and the outdoor picnic bench seating in front of the truck was pleasant. My husband ordered the drunken noodles with seafood (medium spice level), and they were absolutely delicious! We both really enjoyed this flavorful dish. (It's important to note that "medium" was a good level of spice and we like spicy food - you may not want to go any higher)! I, on the other hand, got the green curry with chicken (also medium spice), and was quite disappointed. The chicken was very bland and the curry generally lacked flavor and complexity. We suspect the curry needed to simmer for a while longer. The food truck's service was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the food came out quickly. We enjoyed sitting on the picnic benches in front of the truck. There were some rowdy customers at an adjacent table (they had clearly started drinking early in the day) that were annoying and very loud, but I suppose it wasn't bad enough that the food truck owners should have intervened.
