We arrived right at 4 pm when the restaurant reopens for dinner service. We were promptly greeted by one of the staff and another followed to serve us water and take our orders. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered chicken satay, green curry and yellow curry noodles. For dessert we had fried bananas with ice cream. Never had such great yellow curry noodles - best ever. However the other two were not that great compared to others we've had. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated.

Pad Thai and a small Yellow curry for lunch.

Expensive and sneaky. Addendum: Thank you Kenneth for your response. However, for takeout orders (over the phone), no one mentioned it. Also, there's no signage at the takeout window that mentions it. It is on the receipt that you hand out AFTER signing the credit card machine which didn't mention it. And finally, I've lived in Haleiwa since 1990 and have not seen this in the local restaurants for takeout. Original Review: Seriously... $42.95 with 18% gratuity automatically added for TAKE OUT. And they don't mention that or even ask if it's OK. The food is OK, but the food trucks are better and half the price. I've lived here 30 years and no one else adds automatic 18% service for TAKE OUT. What service?

Located in Haleiwa is this hidden gem that I forgot about! The food is so good and they have some dishes that other Thai places don't have so come check it out! We went 2 days in a row when we stayed here for the Haleiwa Metric Century ride this past weekend. My favorites were really everything we tried. We ordered almost the same things on both days, it was that good, but the Country Pad Thai and batter fish with curry sauce stand out! I think there was a different chef this past Sunday, it was still good but Saturday nights chef was better. I loved the food both days but there was something different about the dishes on the second day.

Just tried Rajanee for the first time and loved it! It's conveniently located near Matsumoto's Shaved Ice with parking in the back. We visited on a Saturday afternoon around noon and got a table right away. The open-air breeze and nice decor made for a great ambiance. We ordered appetizers and several family-style dishes, all of which were delicious. The drunken noodles were a standout! They offer plenty of vegetarian and vegan options too. The fried banana dessert was yummy, and I had Thai tea with coconut milk for the first time The service was amazing and friendly, and the birthday extras were much appreciated. Highly recommend if you're craving Thai food. If Haleiwa is a bit far, they have another location in Mililani that I'm excited to try next!

Good food. Good service. Perfection portions. They have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options listed on the menu. They are willing to modify dishes as needed.

Hubby and I were walking around and decided we would give this place a try before heading back home. The reviews were mixed but decided we'd give it a go. We were the only customer's there and had the pick of the place for seating. The place was clean and it was dead quiet with the exception of passing traffic and folks walking by. We ordered Spring Rolls and being vegan, I ordered Yellow Curry Noodles, hubby ordered Ruby Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai. The spring rolls were good. I didn't use the peanut sauce but hubby said it was over powering and didn't eat it either. He enjoyed both his dishes, I on the other, hand regretted mine. It straight up tasted like it came from a box that had expired. I don't know what the seasoning were, or why my noodles were incredibly over cooked? It didn't taste like there was a drop of coconut milk in it. It was as if yellow curry paste was dumped on the noodles. I couldn't finish it and maybe I should have said something, but I am not comfortable with saying anything and sending something back. Seems the mixed reviews are still the case. You'll have to try it for yourself.

    Fried red snapper!! Delicious!!!!

The food was so flavorful and delicious! The fried red snapper is a must have!! The service was great, shout out to Moe and Sherry who made the experience wonderful! We will definitely return on our next visit.

While in Hawaii you must try this place. The food was delicious. We came with a party of 5 and ordered a few things. The Yellow Curry was my favorite. The creamy texture was absolutely amazing. The Pad Thai was also wonderful and not to sweet. The noodles were thin and not soggy. Service was good. It does have a small dining area with a few tables. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Exquisite food to say the least. The food is extremely good and very fair pricing. The restaurant is fairly small so wait times could be a little long, but every dish you order will remind you why the wait was worth it.

Beef Pad See Ew - our usual Thai food order, but here it was just ok. Maybe our opinion was skewed because of... Drunken Noodles with Soft Shell Crab - 5 stars for this dish alone. I joe crave this randomly and will probably never find it anywhere else! Papaya salad Sticky rice They can bring extra spice on side to adjust your own if needed -- flakes, sauce and peppers. Works great for groups where people don't like same spice levels (as with kids, in our case). Ambiance was great. Staff was nice. Highly recommended!

Rajanee is always one of the highlights of our time in Oahu. We've been coming here for 7 years now and the quality of the food and overall vibe never disappoint! Those summer rolls with the peanut sauce are a must. The Panang curry bowl just heavenly! Whenever we are back home in Texas...we're always craving the freshness of Rajanee's. It's a smaller spot so reservations might help especially on the weekends. We usually never have any problems getting in as a walk-in. But if you have more than 4 good idea to call ahead. They also have a take out window on the side. Aloha! A hui hou (see you soon)

Another North Shore Sunset - they change with different angles, from different spots!

Do the dishes, like the curry, come with rice? If not that seems a bit pricy if all you get is the mentioned item.

Our curries and sauteed items are portioned generously. Rice is not included with curries and sautees as most of our guests prefer it that way. Many prefer to pass on rice due to dietary preference or a availability of rice at home.…

My dad said the rooster literally jumped on my plate and grabbed a bite before being shooed away by the restaurant worker. Today was enough for me to say that it has to be done. First the girl at the cash register couldn't muster a greeting or an anything. It seemed like she was mad at the money. I still tipped because I didn't want to screw the people preparing the food. Second the food took forever to come. Then the people behind me were getting their food ahead of me. Mind you I ordered their easiest burrito (potato, eggs and cheese) and a bagel. It took them 25 minutes to work the science behind defrosting a bagel I suppose. The person making it needed to look at the receipt 5 times to figure it out. Before she could get it together she had to change the TV channel. Third the food was basic. Not great and it took close to an 40 minutes to order and wait for it. Save the time and make a Jimmy dean sausage biscuit at home. Never again. Lesson learned.

The corn was excellent and the ribeye was cooked really well. But the experience had some friction. The host stand felt unnecessarily rigid and disorganized. They would not seat us until the full party was physically standing there, even though the table was ready and the rest of our group was coming from parking. It left everyone awkwardly crowded up front with another party. Service was also slow. Drinks, napkins and basic follow up took too long. We ordered ribeyes and the knives didn't arrive until the steaks had already started cooling, which is a small thing that becomes a big thing when the kitchen actually did its part. The space is nice, but it gets hot and once it got darker the mosquitoes became a real problem. Bring repellent if you are going around sunset. Food wise, it was mixed but mostly good. The drinks were solid, the appetizers were strong and the ribeye was the best thing we ordered. The lobster salad was the weak point, more like boxed mixed greens with overcooked lobster than something worth ordering again. The kids' pizza felt frozen and heavy, but the kids were happy enough. I'd probably come back, but I'd come prepared. Mosquito repellent, patience with the front desk and realistic expectations on service.
