Great prices, portion, and menu with variety. The restaurant was clean and service was quick. Food came out hot and the flavor/spice is unreal. My favorite green chicken curry in Rochester, I've ordered takeout and in person, always delicious. I would recommend!

    Som Tum Thai Spicy !

I always order Som Tum Thai . It has the right amount of sour, savory and spice ! Som Tum is always good with something fried , the fish is NOT from Khong (I chose to pair it with fish), but it great paired with their delicious chicken satay !! I placed an order and it was ready in 10 minutes or less ! They also offer dine in . The location of this restaurant is in a perfect and safe area . The aura inside the restaurant is so calming and welcoming ! Especially with the free smells of all the different entrees they offer !

This is a small restaurant in East Ave. They have a parking lot in the back, which is nice. The restaurant itself has about 7 separate tables and a bar/diner style seating along the window. It feels a little cramped at times. Our server was quick and very nice. For food, we ordered the pork dumplings, the pho, the basil entree, chicken salad, squid panang curry, drunken noodles, and the pineapple fried rice. The pork dumplings were good. The pho was quite good too. The chicken salad was basically minced chicken with some veggies. It tasted decent. The panang curry was very sweet even for a level 4. The drunken noodles were decent but not very outstanding. The pineapple fried rice was ok. It felt a little drier than we would've liked. The basil entree was much to look at, but was decent tasting too. We paid about $100 for the whole meal. I don't know that the food was outstanding and worth that price but it was fine.

Door dashed this evening Khong Thai for the first time. We ordered Pad Thai, Udon noodles , pra ram long song, veggie spring rolls and the pork dumplings. 1. Udon Noodles- 8/10- pretty good. Sweeter thick noodles. Texture might be weird for some people. 2. Chicken Pad Thai- 4/10- pretty disappointed with this dish. I have had way better. This was dry, no spice at all and NO peanut taste! 3. Pra Ram Long Song- 10000/10!!! This was SO GOOD! I can't find this dish anywhere anymore... lots of Thai places to not have this on the menu. It should be on every Thai restaurants menu! The flavor was AMAZING! 4. Veggie spring roll- 4/10- it wasn't special 5. Pork Dumplings- 7/10- pretty good! Good flavor I will definitely be going to the restaurant next time instead of door dashing

Delicious!!!! A friend and I went here for my birthday and it did not disappoint! I have to eat gluten free so Thai is a go to of mine. She ordered the Panang curry with tofu and I ordered the curry rice with chicken (both level 3 spice and it was spicy!) both gluten free!!! The food was seasoned sooooo well! The salt was right and the taste was incredible! Some of the best curry in Rochester!! I returned shortly and ordered takeout for my family. We got the pad Thai and other fried rice (Thai and pineapple fried rice). Honestly the pad Thai and other fried rice were not as good as the curries. Also ordered gluten free and had no reaction. I also ordered the mussaman curry and Panay curry again, both incredible!!! The curries at Khong are their shining dishes! Park might be a challenge when you go. There's a small lot and street parking, but my friend and I were able to find parking no problem. The restaurant is small, but they have table and bar seating. The service was friendly and timely. I highly recommend ordering the curry and I can't wait to try other items on the menu.

Food was decent. Fresh spring roll was only vermicelli noodles & lettuce. The dipping sauce was a little thick but tasty. The pad thai was ok, different than I'm used to. It's usually my go to but I wouldn't get it here again. The portion size was huge! I might try Khong's again but I wouldn't get either item.

Food was amazing as usual! Love that I can trust them to serve food that is fresh and flavorful. A healthy choice.

They have always been dismissive of the spice level I ask for. More recently the individual on the line kept asking me if I was sure I wanted level 5 spice. They just would not let it go, it got to the point where I straight up told them we like to eat and grow ghost peppers. That being said, no matter who picks up the phone and takes my order- I ALWAYS need to dump a boat load of chili flakes on top (we have a nice bag on hand at home). If you ask for a 5, tamper your expectations, it will be a 1 or 0. The pad kee mao I recently ordered had maybe 2.5 green beans and 1/4 of a raw tomato?? I asked for tofu and got the same tofu puffs I bye from the asian market (aka their tofu is not freshly fried in-house) and they were on the dry side like they'd been sitting out after being cut in half. The pad thia my partner ordered had a scant amount of chicken, and egg. We had to heavily fix it up with additional chili flakes and lime. It was meant to be a level 5 was more like a level 1. Pathetic. We are no longer going to be ordering takeout from here.

The food is some of the most inventive, with completely unexpected combinations that absolutely delight. Every single ingredient they use is super high-quality and has a very distinctive place in the dish. We've been here three times and I've never once gotten a dish that felt like it didn't know what it was trying to be. Dish after dish comes out and you just can't believe how good everything is. We ordered additional plates two more times because we couldn't get enough of their incredible flavors. The tuna crudo is melt-in-your-mouth, the shrimp in the appetizer are voluptuously sweet and snappy, the beef curry is a must, and don't pass up the lime leaf cocktail peanuts. Cocktails are fantastic and just as inventive. It is a bit pricey, and portions are smaller (something I personally appreciate from the Swan family restaurants), sort of tapas like, so we reserve for special occasions, but it's certainly brings it for us when we are looking for that. I will say that, while it is great for two or three people having an intimate shared dinner, I can see how it could be difficult for a larger party because you could run up a pretty high bill, but everyone could still feel hungry at the end. So that may be something to consider. The ambience inside is so warm and inviting, but we never feel like we're without privacy. They've given a lot of thought to how they spaced the tables, and seat their guests so you can feel like you're in a popular spot, but still have a quiet conversation.

We always order the chicken pad thai, and it's consistently delicious--full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and exactly what we're craving every time. I rated it 3 stars because of the difference in the food items as well as the conditions in the restaurant itself. The restrooms were not clean and there were boxes stacked along the back of the restaurant and hallway leading back to the bathrooms of what appeared to be supplies for the kitchen and restaurant that should be stored out of sight.
