The broth for the ramen was one of the most lackluster and boring broths I have ever put it in my mouth. Ordered the dumplings and the filling was firm and condensed, odd texture but the ponzu it was swimming in was fantastic. My friend and I tried a sushi roll that was great in flavor but poorly built, every piece just fell apart as soon as you picked it up. Quite annoying. Service was pleasant, atmosphere is great.

Had a great experience at Khon's! Cute, cozy atmosphere and very attentive, friendly staff. We did have a bit of a wait for our appetizers but the chef came out himself to apologize and gave us an appetizer on the house, was very impressed! The food itself was delicious and the ramen pad Thai comes with a huge portion!

A real insult to Asian foods. The only decent thing they got right was the sushi and ramen. But this "ramen pad Thai" menu item really urked me. I don't understand how you can fuse those two dishes. It didn't have the signature flavor of either independent dish. It was more like yakisoba that you buy premade at an Asian market. Extremely disappointing. Also please explain to me how slamming rice, chicken, cucumber, and peanut sauce into a bowl constitutes a Cambodian dish. I have a disdain for any asian fusion restaurants because they lack true creativity and cohesion. This is coming from someone who grew up in Japan and the Philippines with all kinds of East and Southeast Asian Foods. To add insult to injury, our server forgot about some of our drinks and nearly charged me for the wrong meal. I just can't recommend this anyone who truly knows the flavors of each region they supposedly offer on the menu. Please come here to pay California prices on the most mid "Asian" food you've had tho be my guest.

Great place off Palafox. My wife and I shared dumplings, spring rolls, sushi, and ramen. All very good and exceptional service as well.

First time at Khon's last night and I cannot believe I have been missing out this whole time. The restaurant is so cute and the happy hour deals are UNREAL! You can tell the food is so fresh as you watch the chefs build sushi rolls, ramen, and ahi tacos! The prices were insane for their happy hour being 3-6. The spicy tuna roll $7, pink tacos $9, duck spring rolls $7! Absolutely delicious and great bar drinks as well! The staff was so kind and overall 10/10 experience!

Khon's was a little smaller than expected. But the food and service were great! We started with the spring rolls, Krab Rangoon, and edamame. We loved all 3! The spring rolls were crispy, the rangoons were creamy, and the edamame was salty. We tried the lychee martini and Mojo. The first lychee martini was good but we ordered another one and it did not come out the same. The Mojo was delicious. It's their take on a mojito so if you like mojitos you will like it! For entrees, we got the house ramen, the worx, the surf n turf, salmon nigiri, and salmon hand roll. Everything was fresh and delish. The one downside was that the food took forever, but I think they try to bring out everything at once if possible. Khons is a great sushi spot if you're on near Palafox.

Best sushi in town! Might take a while to make, but totally worth it. Fresh and delicious.

First visit to this restaurant. It's your typical size for downtown and the inside was cutely decorated (including Halloween). A lot of reviews mention the wait time, which we had no issue with. I must state we were there late, though, around 8:30pm with just a few guests at a table or bar. The tables were quickly cleaned when we arrived and we had water and first round of drinks within 5-10 mins. Overall the food was good. We ordered beef short ribs with kimchi and they were decent. Expected a little more flavor but the Kimchi took it to the next level . The house ramen had so much flavor and I added the steak for an additional fee. Worth it! They were very accommodating, as I didn't want the shrimp (not allergic just preference). Unfortunately they ran out of ramen so we substituted with Udon. Good just the same and again, we were there later in the night. My mom enjoyed the fried rice. I would return for the ramen and maybe try a new item from their menu. Our server was nice and knowledgeable on the food items.

Right at the door, upon entering I could smell the aroma. I smiled and said to my friend, it could be what I have been looking for. It's a small place. Found seats at the bar. We ordered drinks. Sapporo and I spotted bottles of Sake in their frig. Asked about what's good here, as It was our first visit. It's smelled so good. Jason our bartender/ waiter pointed out the Pork Bellys said they were a favorite and we ordered two coconut curry soups. Also a super crunchy roll and a Alyxandria roll. We left super full..... Food could of had more flavors, especially the coconut curry soup. Pork belly was a lot different then I expected. Thought they were also a bit on the pricey side. At no time while asking for the very small bottles of the Snow Maiden Sake was I told it was $22. per bottle....what a mark up.

This place was so delicious! I absolutely loved the sushi roll I got. The service was a little slow, but overall friendly and we got what we needed and we were sitting out on the patio on a beautiful day so it wasn't too bad waiting on things. My friend got the lettuce wraps and they looked fire too. I would definitely say try this out if you're on Palafox.

Inside is very chic, very new age, although small, seems to utilize its space quite well. Staff was in a good mood, not very "slap on a smile while I panic" at all. Portions on the krab rangoons are a little small, but presentation and flavor made up for almost all of it. Ramen was delicious, I couldn't even finish it all because it was so big. They ran out of Bok Choy so they subbed with extra shrimp, I personally don't eat shrimp a lot but it still made the ramen really good. It's a little pricey for sure, but it's worth a trip or two.

Fried chicken wings with Pad Thai sauce, cilantro, and toasted garlic and peanuts. Really good

You can make a meal with a something similar to a bowl of ramen, or get tapas. We opted for tapas, 2 per person is about enough for a normal meal portion. In order of my preference, we ordered the following: 1. Ribs. The ribs were out of this world, and I don't even like ribs. They had a ginger, soy/teriyaki flavor, lots of tender meat, so good I used the sauce with the fries. 2. Tuna tacos. They were present as large chunks of seared tuna with excellent toppings, and hard shells. I would have preferred soft tacos, but still excellent. 3. Bao chicken bao cow. Very good, 2 steamed buns with meat and veggies, similar to a mini banh mi. 4. Ceviche. Good, but a very small portion, enough for 5-6 bites, not with the price per portion. 5. Duck fries. Good flavor, but no longer offered with poutine, which is what made it stand out in the first place. Not very original compared to other dishes. My wife also bought the kiss of the prom queen drink, which was extremely tart, which she loved and I hated ha. Mandy was our server, very friendly and genuine with perfect recommendations. We brought our baby too, no high chairs available, but we brought our own portable one.

Gross. I genuinely don't understand the hype around this place. The pork ramen broth was so bland it was borderline inedible... I've had more flavor out of a 99¢ pack from Walmart. The duck fat fries? Also bland. The ribeye in the bao buns was crispy and chewy and burnt. The flavor of the buns themselves were okay. Also, the kimchi was wack. I've had better from Walmart as well. The only thing that actually had any flavor were the lobster rangoons, and that's not enough to save the experience. For the prices they're charging, this was a huge letdown. Easily one of the most disappointing meals I've had. Our server Bianca was pretty good, and it was kind of a vibe there, but the food was so horrible that it ruined the whole experience.

Our waitress was incredible, very knowledgeable and patient with my families questions about the menu. She made the experience that much better! Kind of one note, but still tasty. 7/10) -short rib clay pot (I didn't try this but my sister enjoyed it, 7/10) -Panang curry (a go to favorite, my niece is very happy to have another place in town to get it! She gave it a 10/10, I give it an 8. It was a little fishy for me and I prefer more liquid.) -eggplant in garlic sauce (this was a mixed reaction. My mom ordered it upon the waitresses advice that it wasn't too spicy but it actually ended up being too spicy for her to eat. I enjoyed it a lot though the texture of the eggplant was perfect and the flavors were very well balanced although it was the spiciest thing we had.8/10) -creme brulee milk tea with tapioca (I love boba but this was kind of boring.6/10) -cotton candy milk tea with rainbow jelly (14/10, the best I've ever had I think. We will come back for this again and again.!) Overall it was a really great experience and the pricing was quite reasonable, we got all that plus a couple sodas for $108 before the tip. The atmosphere is good, well lit, roomy booths, very clean and we liked the music.
