It was alright. I had the steak teriyaki combo. It came with rice, and veggies. It wasn't bad by any means, but there was nothing that "wowed" me. I'd rather just get food from a popular chain restaurant that has a panda. I really don't understand the tipping culture now these days. When the little iPad comes your way to pay, and the minimum suggested tip is 20%, you're either out of your mind or not paying your employees enough. The food was amazing, my wife had the Chicken curry and I had the Shrimp teriyaki along with 2 shrimp egg rolls. Everything was hot, and the servings were huge. Service was was great, about a 10 minute wait from order to getting called. You can't beat the location, sat there and watched the traffic and people go by. read more

Although this is located in The Gardens, a very cool food quart space, the flavor of this food is fine dining all the way! I ordered the Thai Coconut Curry Chicken, and it was savory and delicious. I loved it so much that I found them on FB and messaged to request anything close to the recipe. Within minutes I got back the type of response that rarely exists these days... "Hi Suzanne, I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for your patronage. We really appreciate it. It can be a little complicated to share but I can tell you an easy version. Go to a local Asian store and get your choice of curry paste instead of making one from scratch. We make Thai Coconut Red Curry as you know. Use Coconut oil as base and dice onions and chicken breast into bite size pieces. Once cooked, season chicken/onion mix with 2 parts garlic, to one part coriander and ginger. Then pour your choice of coconut milk into pot of seasoned chix/onions. Add veggies such as carrots, bamboo shoots, spinach, etc, salt and pepper, and your Thai paste. Let simmer for 8 minutes and finish with limes and brown sugar. Mix well and serve. We squeeze about 1 lime per 2 lbs of chicken and 3/4 T of brown sugar per lb of chicken used. My wife and went here for dinner tonight. I got the pepper steak and she got teriyaki chicken and we shared the lumpia. Both dishes were under seasoned and lacked a strong flavor punch. My wife had a 2-3 inch square grisly piece of chicken in her dish that wasn't really eatable with a plastic fork. She subbed the rice for pancit and it was bland except for a sauerkraut flavor that felt off. Kimchi would have been preferred. The lumpia were okay but nothing amazing. read more

IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT‼‼It was cooked to order, the meat was so unforgettably TASTY, TENDER and JUICY!!!! Served with a mountain of fries and mystery condiment to compliment. My husband got the teriyaki chicken and we both agree it's the BEST TERIYAKI CHICKEN WE'VE EVER HAD!!! The lady sitting next to me had pepper steak and that looked MOUTH WATERING too. I would have ordered that except I had my heart set on the Bulgogi cheesesteak since the time I saw the post on Facebook. This place is amazing. The staff and owners are great. The food is amazing, the portions were so huge I was able to get 3 meals out of it. I had thr shrimp and garlic and the flavor was amazing. Very disappointed. Went downtown specifically to try this place since the reviews looked good and the pictures looked great. Got the teriyaki chicken, korean short ribs, fried rice, pancit, garlic shrimp with "white rice", and the 5 pieces of Shanghai lumpia. The only thing that was good was the lumpia. The fried rice, pancit, teriyaki chicken and Korean short ribs all tasted like they just dumped a bottle of soy sauce on them....too salty to finish, with no flavor except soy sauce. The garlic shrimp tasted like they just dumped a bottle of siraracha on it, and the "white rice" seemed to have been mixed into it while cooking. You couldn't even taste the shrimp or rice over the sauce. Glad we went to try it on a slow day, just to rule it out in the future. I had high hopes for something close to my Hawaii cravings, unfortunately my cooking is better than anything we've found here. read more

Thought a new experience would be fun. Decided to walk around the garden and a finally chose to eat at Flip N Yaki. Excitedly I browed the menu and came up with what I wanted. I ordered 5 lumpia and their chicken adobo. My total came up to $18.17. Not bad for where I am at. I patiently waited for my buzzer to ring to grab my food. After grabbing my food I walk to my car to eat because it's hot out here in Florida lol. Hoping this meal is good as I take my food serious I take a bite of the rice first. Pretty tasty, I can tell that it is jasmine rice. I then take a bite of the chicken that Is supposed to be apart of the adobo. DRY. I take another bite to see if I can eat it. DRY! I take one more bite and DRY. I quickly come to the conclusion that I will not enjoy this meal and walk back to the garden where the Flip N Yaki food truck is located and wait in line to ask for a refund, to where Valerie refuses me because I "walked off with my food". knowing that's total bullsh** I still don't want the fu***ing food and leave it there.
