Advertised price with "Lock in today's price" button. The price advertised is NOT the price.

This has been eating at me today and I wasn't going to say anything, but I feel that how Kia Autosport of Pensacola advertises is a sham. My wife and I went online and started looking at different intermediate SUVs to consider for purchase. We say a vehicle listed on Kia Autosport's website that we were interested in and decides to drive over and check it out. First, the greeter and our salesperson were excellent. So none of what I'm about to say is a reflection on them. On their website, it has a price listed and there's an option to lock in that price for purchase. We didn't lock in the price as we're just looking so drive over. They let us test drive the car, which we liked. We got shocked when we were ready to pull the trigger and found out that the price advertised on their website was not the selling price and it had a $4k markup. I brought, what about the price on the website and the "Lock in today's price"? (Check out attached advertisement). They said that whenever a person did that then came in, they would disclose the $4k markup. In my eyes, that is a form of bait and switch. Anyways, they ask us what they can do to close the deal. I said, your website says I can lock that price in, that's the price I'll buy it for. They couldn't do it so we walked away. To me, this is being dishonest. Now, there are dealerships in Pensacola still marking up vehicles up to $5k, but the chip shortage is over and there are quite a few dealers selling at or below msrp locally and with a couple of hours from Pensacola. Also, if you do your research online, you will see that Pensacola, in general, is priced higher than the average regionally and nationwide. I'm not sure why, but I don't need to be part of encouraging dealer markups. I don't recommend Kia Autosport of Pensacola! Seems shady to me. Now I know why they have less than 2 stars on Yelp.

    Grease on my leather seat!

Dropped my 2016 Kia Soul ! off for an oil change an tire rotation on Saturday 3/4/2023 They called around 4 to let me know my car was ready but informed me that my cabin air filter door was broken and it would be $35 to replace it. However, the last people to touch that door was them. So they broke my door and tried to charge me for it. I picked up my car and told Tessa about the door, go figure there is nothing in my account about it. Great record keeping. She spoke to the service manager and they are goin to replace it at no cost. A few hours later when the sun was finally out in full force I noticed a greasy fingerprint on my passenger seat. BTW Beige Napa Leather seats. UGG. I called to let them know how sloppy they were. The asked me to come back so they could take care of it. UM NO! Thank goodness I have leather cleaner at home. In my opinion the grease should not have even been there.

Finance summary showing MSRP, taxes, and fees. The actual dealership total was about $2500 more than this.

Poor customer service. Do not fix issues but rather cover the problem up. I wouldnt recommend.

When I told the Manager the price was wrong and gave him a Kelly Blue Book print out, he called me a liar. Needless to say, the folks at CarMax Milwaukee convinced me to not do business with them. Fast forward to now at CarMax Pensacola. I was reluctant but my wife insisted we go to look at their selection of different SUVs. My mother-in-law sold them her Toyota that I hated because it was too small for me. Very few of the SUVs fit; I kept having to duck to get in and I am only 5'11". Wife decided she wanted the Lexus and paid to have it shipped to Pensacola. Took weeks but the Lexus finally showed up. First look was something is wrong with the paint. The car had been severely damaged but Nashville did not disclose that information. CarMax Pensacola refunded our money to ship the car. We had almost given up when I asked about a BMW (locked) on the lot. We loved it; paid cash and took it home. BTW-our salesperson was kinda of a schlub but did OK. Fast forward a couple of weeks and we finally go the car on the freeway. Something is wrong. Back to CarMax Pensacola; referred to the local BMW dealer, which I hate. SUV needs front end alignment and to our surprise, CarMax Pensacola picked up the $490 tab. Yes, we had a good rep at CarMax and their recommended person at BMW was a gem.

The vehicle I looked at was exactly as described -- clean, well‑maintained, and priced fairly. It's refreshing to work with a dealership that values honesty and customer service as much as Frontier Motors does. If you're looking for a reliable used vehicle and want to work with people who treat you with respect, I highly recommend Frontier Motors. I'd absolutely purchase from them again. So, we put a lot of trust in Ron to help us pick the right vehicle. We were particularly concerned with whether the car sustained any mechanical damage from the front and fender bender that it was in. He repeatedly reassured us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the engine and that it was merely bodywork. Hundreds of miles and dollars later, we arrived at frontier motors and within the first few minutes of our test drive found paperwork showing that the car had had the transmission replaced, and that mechanical damage was sustained during the accident. When we confronted Ron about this, he threw a childish tantrum. We talked to the manager, and he was unwilling to admit his wrong or to make it right for tricking us into traveling hundreds of miles for a dud car. These people are scammers even though they pretend that they are good business people. Don't trust them.

I wandered on the lot long to look into some vehicles I would consider. No one came to help me, maybe they saw what they call in the industry " a one legged up" or someone who couldn't make a decision without their significant other. It was the wrong call that day, the last four cars my wife has had, she was nowhere near the lot. I am a firm believer that my car will not be worth more than it is, right now. So we will be trading soon. Just some professional and friendly advice... Everybody who owns a car will be buying another, it just depends on who they will be buying from and who their dealership will be. So please stop hiding from your customers and be kind enough to say " Welcome in, what may help with today".. Friendly, easy, and a good way to meet a prospect, they may not buy today, but it will help build your pipeline. The owner spends probably $500-$1500 in advertising per person walking in or calling, so salespeople a chance to make a living, after that service will make their living but servicing the new vehicle and doing a LOF and safety in the trade, in time, that customer will probably trade it in.. and if your my dealership, I will go back and refer my friends over the years. I'll get of my soap box now. I'm still in touch with a ton of people in the industry and instead of bringing my business to where I live, I'll probably have them drop ship what I buy and sell the trade myself since it's free and clear.

Exactly what a fair car dealer should be. Many people worry about their experiences at car dealers and the fact that they try to sell you what THEY want you to buy. This was NOT the case here. This place knows what they're doing. Before bringing it back to Ohio (we found a killer deal and traveled to get the car) we made sure that it would be safe to make the travel. The service department made sure that the HHR was in tiptop shape and we were on the road. The title department did a great job, especially with dealing with out of state transfer. If we happen to come to Florida (panhandle) and need something done with our car, we hands down know the place we're going to be going to. The HHR is running strong 5 years after purchase, just like when it was new, except it now has 80k on it. Have never had a problem with the car and have never had a problem with Sansing. The email stated they were "excited to offer a firm price" on my 2016 F‑150 and encouraged me to bring the truck in for an in‑person appraisal to "get the most accurate trade value." The email also included a link to an online estimate range of $16,797-$19,469. I scheduled an appointment and met with a salesperson (Tory/Torie) on Monday, May 11th at 10:00 a.m. for the appraisal. After inspecting the truck, I was told the value was $9,000-$10,000, with the comment that they "could give more if I was trading." When I mentioned the $19,000 figure from the email I had received, the reaction made it clear that the in‑person offer did not align with the dealership's own written estimate or online valuation tools. The in‑person offer was less than half of the estimate range provided to me beforehand, which created a bait‑and‑switch effect for anyone relying on the dealership's stated "firm price" and online valuation tools. My experience was that the in‑person appraisal did not match the expectations set by the dealership's own communication. I want to note that I previously had a very positive experience with John Nudo at Sandy Sansing, which makes the discrepancy in this visit stand out even more.
