Windshield cracked in garage over Christmas cold weather.

Had two cracked windshields three weeks apart and two weeks after purchase of a 2023 BMW SUV X5 Sport. Very fragile glass, no support and over two thousand dollars twice to replace the glass. Not a fan of BMW. Waiting for the next cracked windshield.

When I told the Manager the price was wrong and gave him a Kelly Blue Book print out, he called me a liar. Needless to say, the folks at CarMax Milwaukee convinced me to not do business with them. Fast forward to now at CarMax Pensacola. I was reluctant but my wife insisted we go to look at their selection of different SUVs. My mother-in-law sold them her Toyota that I hated because it was too small for me. Very few of the SUVs fit; I kept having to duck to get in and I am only 5'11". Wife decided she wanted the Lexus and paid to have it shipped to Pensacola. Took weeks but the Lexus finally showed up. First look was something is wrong with the paint. The car had been severely damaged but Nashville did not disclose that information. CarMax Pensacola refunded our money to ship the car. We had almost given up when I asked about a BMW (locked) on the lot. We loved it; paid cash and took it home. BTW-our salesperson was kinda of a schlub but did OK. Fast forward a couple of weeks and we finally go the car on the freeway. Something is wrong. Back to CarMax Pensacola; referred to the local BMW dealer, which I hate. SUV needs front end alignment and to our surprise, CarMax Pensacola picked up the $490 tab. Yes, we had a good rep at CarMax and their recommended person at BMW was a gem.

So, we put a lot of trust in Ron to help us pick the right vehicle. We were particularly concerned with whether the car sustained any mechanical damage from the front and fender bender that it was in. He repeatedly reassured us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the engine and that it was merely bodywork. Hundreds of miles and dollars later, we arrived at frontier motors and within the first few minutes of our test drive found paperwork showing that the car had had the transmission replaced, and that mechanical damage was sustained during the accident. When we confronted Ron about this, he threw a childish tantrum. We talked to the manager, and he was unwilling to admit his wrong or to make it right for tricking us into traveling hundreds of miles for a dud car. These people are scammers even though they pretend that they are good business people. Don't trust them.

From the moment I reached out, the team was professional, transparent, and genuinely focused on helping me find the right vehicle rather than pushing a sale. They answered every question clearly, provided all the information I needed up front, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. The vehicle I looked at was exactly as described -- clean, well‑maintained, and priced fairly. It's refreshing to work with a dealership that values honesty and customer service as much as Frontier Motors does. If you're looking for a reliable used vehicle and want to work with people who treat you with respect, I highly recommend Frontier Motors. I'd absolutely purchase from them again. Thank you Mr. Ron Robinson for everything!!!

I couldn't even get the Carfax on a single vehicle; each time I'd ask, Gary would sit there and say "Yes ma'am" and not do anything. I repeatedly requested information and would get "Yes ma'am" as he sat there doing absolutely nothing. He's a liar, and uses only high pressure techniques with ZERO response to the customer but "Yes, ma'am". Exactly what a fair car dealer should be. Many people worry about their experiences at car dealers and the fact that they try to sell you what THEY want you to buy. This was NOT the case here. This place knows what they're doing. Before bringing it back to Ohio (we found a killer deal and traveled to get the car) we made sure that it would be safe to make the travel. The service department made sure that the HHR was in tiptop shape and we were on the road. The title department did a great job, especially with dealing with out of state transfer. If we happen to come to Florida (panhandle) and need something done with our car, we hands down know the place we're going to be going to. The HHR is running strong 5 years after purchase, just like when it was new, except it now has 80k on it. Have never had a problem with the car and have never had a problem with Sansing. Sansing is a dealer that you can trust.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience with Sandy Sansing Chevrolet has been…read moreextremely disappointing. I spent months searching for a Ford Expedition and worked with a salesperson throughout the day to complete most of the paperwork remotely because I didn't want to spend hours at the dealership. When I arrived, I was told the Expedition we had been discussing had actually been sold days earlier, even though I had been led to believe it was still available. Rather than leave after wasting my trip, I decided to give the dealership another chance because I had done business with Sandy Sansing before. I ended up purchasing a 2018 Ford Expedition Max Platinum that had been transferred from another Sandy Sansing dealership. By this point it was late, the dealership was close to closing, and I felt pressured to complete the purchase that evening rather than come back the next day. I requested the Carfax but was never given a copy to review. It was only quickly scrolled through on a computer. My test drive was also limited because the vehicle only had about two miles of fuel remaining. The dealership's own inspection report stated, "Has multiple minor oil leaks, wet but not dripping yet." I was simply told it had a few minor oil leaks. Within days of purchasing the vehicle, I received a low oil pressure warning, and an independent inspection at Firestone determined the leak was coming from the timing cover with an estimated repair cost of approximately $3,000. When I contacted my salesperson, instead of directing me back to the dealership's service department, I was repeatedly told to contact a mechanic he knew by the nickname "Sheriff." The only assistance the dealership offered was a vehicle detail because it had not even been cleaned before delivery. Other issues I discovered shortly after purchase included concerns with the air conditioning after I was told it just needed refrigerant, an intermittent running board issue, a rear washer that doesn't work, a detached rear defroster connection, and brakes that feel unusually soft even though the inspection report indicates the brakes and rotors were serviced before the sale. I also had concerns during the finance process. While I was still reviewing the electronic paperwork, the finance documents were submitted before I felt I had finished reading everything. That left me very uncomfortable. To add to the frustration, I was told I couldn't reuse my Florida license plate because it was over 10 years old, but the DMV later told me it was still valid. I also still haven't received my Arizona plate from my trade-in and continue receiving payment reminders from my previous lender because I have not yet received confirmation that my trade-in loan has been paid off. I understand that used vehicles, especially those sold as-is, can have problems. My disappointment is not simply that repairs are needed. It is the overall experience, the lack of transparency, the way concerns were handled after the sale, and the feeling that customer service ended once the paperwork was signed. I hope Sandy Sansing Chevrolet reviews this experience and works with me toward a fair resolution. At this point, I cannot recommend purchasing a used vehicle from this dealership based on my experience.

At…read morethe time, we both had two cars but decided to go down to one with how new cars break (as my current one was a 2023 Mazda). Since the 2017 Hyundai has been such a wonderful car to us, we decided to keep it and perform all the recommended maintenance to it. Instead, we sold the 2023 Mazda. We were stuck between choosing the dealership or a local repair shop to perform the work. Since this car has higher miles, we wanted genuine Hyundai parts, FACTORY WARRANTY, and qualified Hyundai techs, and great customer service to be working on our car. Bear in mind, up until this point, we have had NO PROBLEMS with this vehicle and were just bringing it to the dealership to see what they recommended. Long story short, we brought it to Allen Turner Hyundai in Pensacola to see what they would recommend. Again, we stated "replace anything that needs to be fixed" we plan to keep this car for a long time. The dealership honored our request, and after a complete, multi-point inspection said we needed to change belts, spark plugs, all fluids, all rotors, front and rear brake pads, lights, and air filters and a couple other things. Everything else looked fine. This was back in 01/26. The cost of this work totaled over 2 thousand dollars. Band-aid ripped off. Painful, but glad we have a completely up to date car! All work completed as recommended. This is where it gets bad. Approx a few weeks later, the engine light comes on. What the heck? We notified the dealership of this concern and said to bring it back to Hyundai. Hyundai gets their hands on it and now says there is problem with the thermostat; the cost for this repair is $700. We replace at recommended. Kinda hurts but Hyundai thinks this is the absolute last of the repairs. Wrong, one week later, engine light comes back on. At this point, we are pretty ticked off with the amount of money, time, and effort that has been wasted on bringing it to the "EXPERTS". We brought it to Hyundai, yet again, and says this is a P0420 code this time: aka Catalytic converter failure. Hyundai says this is going to cost $3,500. Are you F****** KIDDING ME?????!!!! Another 3 weeks after this, the front driver starts to lock up. I call Hyundai, AGAIN. They say the soonest they can look at it is 2 and half weeks. Like I said before, they have already worked on this, and this is ANOTHER problem! They request we be there early because it is going to take a minimum of half the day JUST TO LOOK AT THE BRAKE, which was 0730. I work night shift and this has completely thrown my schedule off to bring early. Having to be there so many times in the morning has been a MASSIVE inconvenience, waste of time, and money. This place making me get no sleep is killing me. I have never passed around between home and a dealer repair shop so much! When I get to the dealer, they tell me, "It is going to cost $259.99 to diagnose the problem". I say "y'all touched my brakes, yes? pads, rotor, and caliber? Doesn't that mean it should be under warranty since y'all messed with it last? They said "well, if it is in fact a faulty part, we will refund the $260". I say, "so you are telling me I am gambling $260 when I know for a fact my brake is catching from the work that y'all did to it"? I swear to God, what place, especially the dealership, will not honor THEIR WARRANTY???? I have never seen such a level of professionalism from this Cracker Jack Box dealership. I know I am not the only one, one of my co-workers just recently got his motor replaced because it was under EXTENDED warranty. Yes, they replaced the motor for him but according to him, they interchanged old parts on his old motor to his new motor. Yes, you read that correctly. This place is such a freaking joke, all this place does is beat you around the bush, tell you keep on coming back to spend more time and money. WE NEVER HAD ONE PROBLEM till we started taking it to them. Kinda sounds fishy and purposefully breaking our stuff and sending cracker jack box techs to work on your car and charge premium dollar! Bear in mind, we have spent thousands of dollars on this car, and we were never offered a courtesy car (as this needed to be dropped off many times), apology, or even a single thanks you being such a loyal customer after being screwed by such an awful corporation. We have receipts to PROVE everything! One of the shadiest companies my husband and I have ever seen in our lives! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, THEY WILL BREAK YOUR CAR!!!!
