Amazing food and service! The lunch special price can't be beat! $11 for quality food. Try to find that with this position size! Also the cocktail specials are dope! Pretty much half price for a craft cocktail! Chill atmosphere. Love the laid back vibes.

Got takeout cheeseburgers from here and really enjoyed the Big Mac Daddy. Delicious special sauce on top of two beef patties, cooked to order, topped with lettuce, pickles and cheese. Great spicy chips as the side. Quick, friendly service. Will be back!

After a long day of driving and the beach I needed a good dinner before driving back to Columbia. I'm so glad I checked Yelp because Kid Cashew popped up and this whole plaza had so many amazing food finds. But our party of 5 got seated immediately and our waitress was so kind. Kid Cashew is a one of a kind type of establishment from the goats, to the hanging pots and many pictures this place is truly a one of a kind gem. A plus for Kid Cashew is they offer healthier food options and have vegan options as well which was a okay since my mom was coming along. For dinner I went with the mahi sandwich, my son had the Big Mac daddy burger, my daughter went with the pizza from the kids menu that came on pita bread, my mom got the wood fired portobello gyro and my aunt went with the sautéed shrimp and polenta as her main meal. I also ordered a side of lemon her fingerling potatoes which were just ok for me a bit oily and not a ton of flavor. But everything else was super delicious since I had to sample everybody's food. The only other thing is I wished they served fries instead of chips but the homemade kettle chips were seasoned to perfection. Now for my sandwich omg it was mouth watering delicious and the shrimp and polenta was such a huge serving for being under the plates to share and cooked to perfection, my son loved his burger and the portobello gyro also perfection! Even the kids pizza was delicious. All in all this was a solid dining experience from beginning to end- when I'm back this way I would go back in a heartbeat.

Mac & Cheese Meatball Au poivre

7 out of 10! It had a covered patio and good lunch special of pick 2 for $11. I went on a Friday and it was $7 cocktails. The meatballs came with 3 and were a little lack luster but the sauce was seasoned well. The Mac and cheese was delicious and had onions baked in. It was a great place to work from with lots of great people watching on Ben Sawyer.

Loved it, good food, good drinks. Family had the burger, turkey avocado and gyro, all said they were delicious. Prices were very good, happy hour even better. Service was great, it was not very crowded (went at odd time). Comfortable atmosphere. We usually don't repeat in Charleston, too many places to try, but, we will here. And local beer!

We've been into kid cashew before when it was a different restaurant the menu on this one was more expansive and had a lot more vegan options. Having additional options for vegans really adds to the value my wife was very happy because she doesn't eat meat. The service was good we were greeted as soon as we came in and the ambience is basically just open café restaurant style. Definitely recommend these guys if you're looking for a good vegan option that's the place to go.

Lived in MTP for a few years and was there when opening in 2018. I haven't been back to the area in 6 years but I went recently! Kid Cashew is the same as when I left. Great food amazing atmosphere wonderful service and a great place to stop off Ben sawyer for a lighter lunch before heading to Sullivans island.

Great ambience, better food, great wait staff. Potatoes were a bit too salty but everything else was perfect

Hummus plate and mahi sandwich

We appreciate this restaurant because they actually have a vegan section on their menu. Went today for a late lunch. They have a nice, large outdoor dining area, which we took advantage of to enjoy the beautiful weather. Unfortunately, it was during shift change and we sat for about 10 minutes before anybody realized that our order had not yet been taken. But the server was apologetic, and they made up for it by getting our food to the table quickly. Their menu items are good, nothing spectacular.

Half Avocado Quinoa

The food tasted fresh and the service was fine. I ordered the quinoa stuffed avocado and it was good but I didn't see or taste any quinoa. If they were out of quinoa I would have preferred they simply stated that. I found the chicken sandwich was good overall, but slightly dry. After reviewing the menu it appears that the sandwich should have come with a cilantro mayonnaise which my sandwich did not. I don't know if it's because we arrived at night or if it was just an off night but omitting ingredients on various dishes seems odd and was disappointing, particularly to a first time visitor like myself. I will say that the hummus and the pita bread were very good, the pita was super soft and warm. I would definitely reorder. I would possibly try this place earlier in the day or evening to see if the dishes were prepared according to the menu description next time.

Lamb gyro

Second time trying the same dish. This time the meat was really good, seasoned nicely. Still not the chunks of lamb I'm used to but it wasn't as thin as the last time. Also it was packed with meat, which made each bite enjoyable. Thanks for the opportunity to try it again.

Best Mediterranean restaurant around! We had the lamb, and chicken skewers. Juicy & cooked to perfection! Enjoyed the half Avacado and quinoa. The beets with mandarin oranges & whipped feta was also amazing. Unique flavors that blend together wonderfully on the plate & palate! We'll be back!! Service was very friendly!

Awful wait staff with bad attitudes that make the entire experience suck. I'm embarrassed that I took a group there for drinks and apps.

When Adam's Kitchen showed up as a spot with Mediterranean offerings we decided to check it out. We got there just before their closing time and were prepared to order our food as takeout, but the people were friendly and welcoming and encouraged us to stay. We were too hungry to argue, and wow, did it turn out to be a lovely experience. The food was prepared fresh, came out quickly, and served with care and a friendly smile. My lamb gyro was perfect - served on warm, puffy pita with fresh veggies and a generous drizzle of tzatziki. My partner's chicken shawarma sandwich was equally tasty, but the crowning glory was the house-made baklava that was subtly enhanced with orange flower essence that elevated it to something truly special. We're here to visit the Charleston area for just a short time with so many things to do, but we're definitely making time to head back to Adam's kitchen before we leave for a stash of their to-die-for baklava, Dubai chocolate, and whatever other of their homemade treats strike our fancy. If you're in the Mt. Pleasant area and have a hankering for excellent Mediterranean food prepared and served up fresh by friendly people in a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere, you won't regret checking out this little gem of a restaurant!

They were very helpful with my questions concerning my gluten allergy. They were able to confirm what was gluten free but it is also clearly marked on the menu. The food was fresh and amazing. The hummus is homemade. I had chicken Lula and it was really well seasoned and some of the best I've ever tasted. The only downside was the price. It was quite pricy for a lunch but with that being said, I would still return for more of their food. I just wish I could have tried more of it.

What really separates these falafels is the robust range of spices and complex flavor into the traditional falafel, texture and flavors. The falafel appetizer platter came with four pieces and they were basically gone as soon as they arrived to the table as our entire family ate immediately. Including our pickiest eating family member, who enjoyed theirs too! Exceptional! The halloumi is fantastic and cooked perfectly. It had a nice seasoning on top of it which differentiated it from others I have had before. Everyone at our table enjoyed it. It came with four pieces. The grape leaves were a delight. They had a more robust complex flavor palette than Greek style grape leaves. They were served warm, however they were not dried out like sometimes grape leaves are when they're brought to a table warm. These were beautifully seasoned and had nice moisture to them. The size of each was about that of a ring finger. I can not remember hot many pieces were on the plate but it was more than 4. We ordered the chefs hummus with the pine nuts and pomegranate seeds. It was delicious and a great texture. Pretty much par for the course. My entrée was the Mujadra lentil and rice dish. The flavors were absolutely phenomenal. At first, I was thinking about getting the lentil soup for lunch, but then decided to try under the vegetarian section of the menu the lentil plate. The lentils and rice were placed in a circle mold on the plate. With pretty pieces of salad coming out from four different places. There were pine nuts, chopped, and placed a top of the rice and lentils. Everyone at the table tried my dish and even though we all four have very different favorite flavors and foods everyone agreed it tasted phenomenal and was absolutely delicious. Another family member ordered the lentil soup. They really enjoyed that and they also took some rice off of their spouse's plate and put it in the lentil soup which was a nice pairing. Spouse had the beef kebab cooked, medium rare. The temperature on the kebab for cooking was absolutely perfect! The texture pinkness, and overall cooking was beautifully done to a true medium rare. He had french fries as his side those were just as perfectly cooked as everything else that came out of the kitchen of this restaurant. They were nice and crisp with a good flavor. Three of our four family members tried and agreed they were very nicely done fries crispy all around and not floppy soft. Another family member ordered the Shish Tawook. They were completely in love and smitten with the garlic sauce that came with it. It is divine and tastes beautiful on the chicken. Rice was beautifully cooked as well. The accompaniments of lettuce, pita and oil was delicious. Dessert was baklava. Like every other part of the meal, we had it had a really nice blend of spices and flavor to it. We got it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. All of the desserts on the menu are made in house. One of our family members doesn't tend to like homemade ice cream however she liked this ice cream because she thought the texture was really brilliant for it being made in house at a restaurant. The baklava comes with three pieces. I would love for them to open a restaurant near where we live. If we lived here we would come in 2-3 times a week. Near the end of our meal, we heard some of the restaurant team speaking with another table of regulars. We overheard that they were short staffed that day as someone had called in. We never absolutely would not have guessed that. They seamlessly checked on our table, brought everything out in a timely manner, and none of the plates were hot like they had been sitting at expo waiting to come out to the table for a while. It was wonderful hospitality, with great care and checking in. Our server was a sweet and attentive person. Simply removing plates as we finished and refilling drinks. No one at our table was in want or need of anything as he kept it all well filled. I think the biggest compliment I can give is one family member always has room for dessert. They loved their meal in the appetizer so much they could not have any dessert. Which coming from them a huge dessert person is quite the praise.

While we were out walking on King Street, a local recommended Stella's, and I'm so glad they did. We walked over from our Airbnb and immediately loved the space. The restaurant has two U-shaped bars in the center, which is my husband and my favorite place to sit when dining out. We went in with zero expectations and hadn't even looked at the menu beforehand, but everything ended up being incredible. The drinks were fantastic, and our bartender/server was so sweet. Even though we were one of the last couples seated that evening, we never felt rushed and were able to enjoy the meal at our own pace. We ordered the non-breaded calamari and a shrimp dish, and the calamari was honestly the best I've ever had. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and the artichokes that came with it were so delicious. Every bite made me happy. We finished with the tiramisu, which our bartender recommended, and it was absolutely outstanding--easily the best tiramisu I've ever had. I'm still dreaming about this meal and would come back in a heartbeat the next time I'm in Charleston.

We were surprised when we walked in and the bar was actually low, with low, spinny bar seats. But it actually was pretty unique and fun! Our server was excellent and gave us great recommendations. We started with the Stella's Kalamari that had sun-dried tomatoes, capers, and artichoke hearts. It was very flavorful and delicious. Something to keep in mind here is that the portions are pretty large. Perfect for splitting dishes and a lot of food for your buck. The stand out dish for me was the spanakopita. It's a flaky, crispy pastry with spinach and feta inside that you dip in tzatziki. What's not to love about all of that?? We splurged a bit on our entree and split the braised lamb shank. The lamb itself was pretty good, but what I enjoyed most was the pasta it comes with. I would maybe suggest trying a different entree. It wasn't my favorite, but it was good. For drinks I got the Cretan, which had cucumber infused gin, lime, rosemary and thyme. It was so refreshing and just what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back here and recommending it to others!
