Adorable spot for coffee in Mason. It's set up like a house (because I'm sure it used to be one), so it has a nice homey feel. The coffee I got was suuuper sweet (I asked for a little vanilla, and I got a lottt of vanilla). But other than that, it was a nice vibe and the barista was delightful. Man O man, this place is NOT on the up and up. My favorite part about this place is my beer was cold. I am not even going to give them credit for it being a local craft beer bc that is a no Brain'r. Well, the inside seems okay for study hall and the outside covered patio seems like a good place to host a baby shower. Besides for that this place is lacking all the things I look for in a coffee house. The music, the art and originality. It's a shame, maybe I will buy this place when they go out of business! One of the better coffee places around Mason! It's a great place to go if you like being adventurous with your flavors due to their seasonal flavors. Sometimes the lattes can become really sweet if you aren't careful (but if you like that then this place is for you!). The baristas are friendly and patient and will help you if you need help deciding what sort of coffee you'd like. Prices are a little on the high side, but the amount of coffee you get is super generous so you pay for what you get. Good place to study and get work done, they have outlets throughout the inside and during the summer the upstairs is wonderful! They have fairy lights to light it up at night and it makes you feel like you're on vacation. Would highly recommend! read more

I have met my friend for coffee here twice and both times it was very relaxing. The staff is friendly and the coffee is quite good. I am looking forward to sitting outside when the good weather arrives. The parking is somewhat limited but definitely worth it. My friends and I are meeting here again this week for our pre-Easter coffee. read more

I freaking love this new-and-improved Kidd Coffee. I was a fan of the old downtown Mason location, but anything that combines coffee and wine gets my vote. It has such a homey vibe and I love being able to cozy up in the chairs by the fireplace. I haven't been able to make over for some wine (yet), but I fully plan on going out of my way to attend a wine tasting sometime. They also have an outdoor patio that I haven't been able to take advantage of yet. Needless to say... Well done, Kidd Coffee! read more

I've never had "just coffee" here. When I come here I'm getting milk and flavored syrup with a little coffee mixed in. They do this type of drink really well and it's my wife's favorite. We've tried about half the drinks on their menu and they've all been good. Added bonus, they share a building with Aladdin's. Get dinner there and have a drink here for dessert because that's definitely what the coffee here is...dessert. I'm a huge fan of dinner at Aladdin's but not their desserts. Aladdin's plus Kidd Coffee make a good date night combo. read more

This is the new Mason, OH location in an adorable older home-turned-business. I'm sitting here sipping some organic fair trade chai with almond milk. The beverage is delicious and not-too-hot. The music is pleasant, including the likes of The Beatles, Coldplay, and Dispatch. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The service is friendly and upbeat, even in -3° weather. Lovely spot to do some homework, meet a client, or chat with a friend. I plan to return to try the food, for sure. read more

The atmosphere, coffee and staff is great. The only reason I gave it 3 stars and not more is that the Wi-Fi is unusable. The Wi-Fi constantly disconnects and when it is working it is slower than a dial-up modem from the 1990s. If the Wi-Fi worked I'd never go to starbucks. read more

This is the flag ship store for kid coffee. I have been coming to this location for many years now and not once have I had a bad experience. What this coffee house has over bigger coffee houses is ambiance and value. The coffee is pulled by a trained and friendly staff. The portions are very nice and the drinks are always flavorful. If you like biscotti then you will like it here. Their biscotti is made by a local vendor which is made fresh. When you go in make sure you are ready to meet new people. Sometimes you will be introduced to the local business and government personality. The store itself is decorated as a warm coffee house with sofas and overstuffed arm chairs that make you want to sit down. They have free wifi and a patio for the warmer weather. read more

This is a nice place to hang out. I also know the guy who started kidd coffee. Have a great wine selection, as well as a wine drive thru. I mean that's pretty cool if you ask me. Coffee there is smooth and freshly brewed. The surroundings there are nice. Good furniture too. All and all this is definitely a place I enjoy going to. And you would too! read more

This is without a doubt the worst coffee house I have ever been in and if you know me and my love of coffee that's saying a lot. Not only is it difficult to find the entrance, not marked, but the personnel are among the least friendly I have ever encountered. I stood there, the only person waiting to be served, and waited for them to ask me what I would like, they literally stared at me. I finally asked them would you like my order? Then they print out a receipt with a line for a tip on it. Really? I take my drink head back to my car and as I leaned over to put the cup in the cup holder the lid popped off and spilled hot coffee in my lap and all over the console/shift knob in my car. I immediately hopped out of my car, went to the back where I keep a roll of paper towels and began to clean up this mess. I was upset at what happened to me and my car but what was more upsetting was I was parked directly across from the drive thru window and not one person from the coffee shop asked if I was okay or asked if they could help. I know they saw me cleaning thAt up. I finally carried the pile of wet paper towels over to the window and handed them to the "barista" and told him what happened. Still no apology, no "are you ok?", nope what I got was, "oh well they'll do that if you squeeze the lid. What??? So I tell Mr. Milenial that I've been going to Kidd Coffee (Tylersville) for over ten years and drinking coffee a lot longer than that, I KNOW HOW TO HOLD A CUP OF COFFEE!!! Still nothing, no apology, nothing. So now I wait, along with an overwhelming number of other former Kidd coffee customers, in line at the Starbucks on Tylersville next to Verizon. It's inconvenient but my only choice right now. Good job losing this and apparently a lot of other loyal customers. read more
