Even after I finished treatment, the pain never went away. My jaw also started clicking every time I opened and closed my mouth. I returned to the clinic for help, but I was told there was nothing they could do because I was no longer their patient. As my symptoms continued to get worse, I sought opinions from other doctors. Eventually, I went to Mexico, where I had a CT scan. The scan showed that my jaw was crooked, and I was told I needed corrective jaw surgery. The specialists there explained that, in their professional opinion, the problem was caused by improper orthodontic treatment and that my braces had only masked the issue instead of correcting it. As a result, I had to undergo major jaw surgery. This experience has been physically painful, emotionally stressful, and financially costly. I trusted this office with my care, but when I returned with serious complications, I felt abandoned instead of supported. I also encourage people to be cautious when reading the reviews. During my treatment, the office offered free coffee gift cards in exchange for leaving a positive review. That made me question whether the online ratings accurately reflect patients' genuine experiences. Dr. Zuroff's office does, indeed, produce Invisaligns. So I made an appointment with the friendly staff and went in. Let me say, I was completely taken aback when the walk in to walk out time was under 10 minutes, including the impressions being taken for the Invisaligns! The staff were also very polite. Fast forward a little over one year. My top retainer cracked one day, and I soon after got a cap placed on tooth #2. Well, now it was time for a new top retainer. Once again, the appointment making was easy, the appointment time was as quick as the last time, and Dr. Zuroff even instructed the staff within my ear shot to use a thicker version of the material to hopefully prevent cracking this time. Then, they stated they would have the retainer produced within 24 hours. Wow! What an amazing practice. They "missed" getting any paperwork insurance or records from the previous ortho. I gave them all the insurance (three!) on the consult. They did not schedule her so I called and left VM, tried to get her in and they pushed it back as easiest monthly adjustment until July 20th, seven months no adjustment. My daughter goes in and they sent her away becuase if my child did not pay for the work upfront in whole(!!!) becuase they still have not billed insurance and updated the contract claiming I pay in full out of pocket even with all the insurances. Horrible. They only want the money and do not care about the human person. So sad. My poor daughter was turned away from treatment becuase they dropped the ball for over half a year. Shameful. I called and told them to bill the insurance and I'd be happy to sign a corrected contract (that's first payment not due until Aug 19 mind you) and if they can get her in tomorrow. Absolutely not, nor Monday until they talk to the finance people. Seriously? What horrible customer service. They had months to bill hand take care of the insurance and simply did not. Shame.

There's a play area for the kiddos - and that's one of the only neat things about this place. The dental hygienist was decent. She did come off as a bit pushy IMO. The "can you do this, can you do that" .. no manners! Really!? The dentist was rushing and her hygienist did NOT clean any of the teeth! Too much poking around in the mouth and talk about random things that made NO sense. Going to the dentist makes people anxious and they like having their person with them. Denying them (the patient) that right when they're at the dentist for a cleaning is just wrong IMO. Anxiety is real and it can be crippling. The fear is hard to describe- other than I cried. It's not funny and I heard employees laughing! I'm very disappointed and frustrated. You need this done, you need that done.. Wait, what? Due to my insurance being "state insurance" she could only offer an 11 or 11:30 consult time. After telling her I was a teacher and couln't make it until 4, she continued to only offer the aforementioned times. I had to educate her that just because my insurance was "state insurance" was no guarantee they would even cover ortho. In my experience the state only covers extreme cases, and my child most likely would not be covered. I had to explain that we would be paying cash up front and I just wanted an appointment that would fit my schedule. She ended up "finding something" that would work 7 weeks out.
