My meatloaf was so freaking good, the picture did not do it justice at all. My friends got sliders, corned beef and cabbage and a chicken caeser salad, which they all liked as well. Although this place was super busy from the trivia the service was fast and drinks as well as refills came quickly. Food took a bit of time as to be expected. The trivia was great just as everyone had mentioned and I'm glad we decided to check it out. Thursdays is Bingo also with Chris and since grandma hobbies are right up my alley it looks like I will be spending a lot of time at the Shamrock now.

I don't even have an explanation for this train wreck. It has a cheers vibe around 4-5 pm if you go in for a meal assuming that everyone at cheers was drunk off their A's. So its not to bad at dinner time. Food is adequate. But as the the sun fades it turns into a low class meat market where a lot of very crass drunk 20-30 somethings come in and dint even bother to pretend Tye are not trying to get sex. No attempt a a cursory conversation just butt grabbing , will you go home with me, why go through the formalities. Hey just get out the Red light and put it out front. This included behavior toward my wife who in no way solicits it she is very tomboy and although pretty wont bother with you unless you can use words with more than 2 syllables and have a real conversation, she has a giant ring on her wedding finger and tells people repeatedly she is married, this deters no one. The staff does not seem to care much. The bar is dangerous. there are as I observed many altercations brewing and security is not sufficient to stop them if anything erupted and because of the size and the layout of the bar people would get hurt no way around it. I think they just now took and interest in security because of a lawsuit but its self interest they don't care what happens to you. And there is no way the couple of guys could take on the 10-15 marines and other men in there or control a crowd around that small square that circles the bar that is the customer area.. I have asked my wife repeatedly not to go there but she insisted no they have asked her to leave citing that she makes other patrons nervous. I find this funny but am relived as I do not want her in there. There are plenty of higher class places she can go dance like Silk, the Edge, and 11 after Dark and if she just wants a good old home time then the Beer and Wine garden is much better run,(they have real security) and safer and its a Biker bar and the crowd has much more class. Killarneys is a poorly run dangerous confused schizophrenic experiment of what was supposed to be originally and Irish Pub, now brothel/ who knows what, in a strip mall, where people get way too drunk, and is just dangerous. As the club world is fickle I presume eventually it will burn out and disappear, hopefully before someone gets really hurt.. Oh and its in a STRIP MALL. VERY CLASSY! Avoid this nightmare and go almost anywhere else in Temecula and have a good time! read more

Promised by the owner that if I returned I would be treated with courtesy and respect. I drove 40 minutes to give them another chance and the spineless owner who had my e-mail of concern for 3 weeks said he had new information which he could not disclose and they did it to me again, cut me off, I wasnt drunk and asked me not to come back for no reason? I have never done anything even remotely odd in that bar. Same complaint I had the first time and instead of calling me.... before I drive there. He e-mails me. The story is too long to post here but I would love to publish it somewhere. The owner does not keep his word. The management has very poor judgement. I am a very upstanding person who has never had trouble in my life and all of the sudden, I am a problem person and treated like I am a bum off the street when I spent over 1700 ollars in this place in 4 months often tipping 30- 100% of my bill. And I am told the owners (whom I have never met) and (other patrons) who are so drunk they cant remember their own name are disrurbed by me? and there have been complaints?? About what? I am a 120lb 46 yr old woman. I never over drink and I have never had one altercation in the place. These people are nuts. Half the patrons are drunk off their asses obnoxious and crazy. Perhaps I failed to let somenoe pinch my ass. I have never been so Ill treated or seen such bad business acumen in my life. Not wanting me there is fine. Lying about things that just did not occcur is not. Promising I would be treated decently and recinding it with an e-mail rather than the guts to call causing me to walk into another humiliation is inexcusable. Who does this. My wife and I decided to try out Killarney's for the first time today, and from the moment we walked in, we were met with incredibly friendly service. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere at Killarney's is fantastic--stepping inside feels like you've been transported to an old Irish pub, complete with rustic wooden furnishings, cozy seating, and authentic decor. We arrived just in time for happy hour and decided to take advantage of the $2 street tacos. These little bites were bursting with flavor and made for the perfect start to our meal. We also ordered the nachos and buffalo cauliflower, both of which exceeded our expectations. The nachos were piled high with melted cheese, fresh guacamole, and tangy salsa, while the buffalo cauliflower had the perfect amount of spice and crunch. To top it all off, I treated myself to a shot of McCallan 18 whisky, one of my all-time favorites. The rich, smooth flavor of the whisky, especially the sherry cask variation, was the perfect way to cap off an already delightful dining experience. Overall, Killarney's provided us with a wonderful evening, and we can't wait to return and try more items from their menu. read more

Liam the manager/ bartender held mine and my friends ID and said they were fakes after they've been there multiple times He called the police and said he's never been wrong in his 22 years of bartending he compared them to others and they looked exactly the same the security working there even said the guys trippin and he should just let it go since it was a busy Saturday night obviously police wouldn't be able to show up right away since it wasn't emergent then then Liam suggested we show him our facebooks to confirm our age .. we're 23 we don't use Facebook!! We found pictures of graduation dates/birthdays and he wouldn't see it after he's the one who suggested it in the first place.. we ended up waiting there for over two hours before the police showed up just to immediately hand us back our ID's This guy is a complete joke way to ruin our Saturday night This place needs a new manager or at least someone who knows what they're talking about Update: they tried removing my review instead of trying to fix anything. I recently dined at Killarney's and had one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time -- all thanks to our incredible server, Madison. From the moment we were seated, Madison made us feel genuinely welcome. She greeted us with a warm smile, was attentive without being overbearing, and had an impressive knowledge of the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on (the shepherd's pie was amazing!), and she made sure our drinks were always full and our table was never left wanting for anything. What really stood out was how effortlessly she managed a busy dining room while still making us feel like her top priority. Madison was friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in her work. My Irish hubby is a total slut for all things pub. He dragged me here and said he would give it 6 stars. Me: only half that. The waitresses (we had a shift change) were straight bitchy and rude, not at all pleased to be there. Maybe they hated each other because the girl coming on knew the girl leaving would be just bitchy enough to customers in the handoff to screw her out of tips.....again! Anyway, cerveza is not my thing, and the stronger the flavor the less it is my thing. They were changing kegs and only had porter(?) on tap. This is dark like Guiness (sp?), so I had one sip of that ashtray juice and stopped. BTW, could it get any louder in there? This is a horrible piece of shit establishment . This Saturday I witness racism to the fullest by the Killarney staff that made a lot patrons sick to the stomach . On Saturday evening while having what I thought was a good time , a Native American patron ( who is a well known local Firefighter) asked the bartender for a Coors and a Adios , at which time the security guy tapped on the firefighters shoulder and told him he had to leave! Those who witnessed this automatically realized that the decision to ask this patron to leave was solely based on Race . This place breeds hate and bigotry. The best time to go is on Mondays, when you can get a burger and fries for only $8 ,an unbeatable deal. If burgers aren't your thing everyday offer a new special or deal. Great local place you can go out on a date night with your hubby on or even cone in for dinner with your family. All the staff seem great and actually happy to serve you!
