Great breakfast spot found by the wifey today! Walked in and had a table in about 5 mins. The place is small and has a unique layout. It was very nice and different. The service was good. The server was at the table taking our order within a min of being seated. I ordered the "turkey and veggie omelette". It was delicious and super big. The ingredients were fresh and had lots of turkey with veggies and black olives which gave the omelette great flavor and did I mention that it was huge!, but so light at the same time. It was served with a side of house potatoes and 2 light and fluffy biscuits. My wife ordered the "French toast slam", the French toast was great, when you bite into it you get this taste of cinnamon and the toast is a little caramelized and lightly burned taste in the bread just takes it over the top. With 2 eggs sunny side up and sausage you don't go wrong with this dish. The coffee is served super hot just like I like it and the water was served in big glass mugs which was different but a great idea. We'll make another visit here. For the huge serving sizes, clean restaurant and fast service. The Killian area residents should be happy to have a place like this. read more

I can't say enough good things about this amazing breakfast spot In the Kendall area. I've been coming for a few months now consistently and they have never failed to deliver great service, fast & DELICIOUS(very important) food without fail. I came to the physical location today and they have outside seating available, the staff were all wearing masks and they made sure each table was safely distant from each other. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the name of my waitress but she was incredible. From the moment we sat down she was super kind, attentive, and efficiently provided everything we needed at a moments notice. I ended up getting the Killian grand slam which comes with eggs(honestly didn't know what eggs should taste like until I had these, game changers!), house potatoes(really well seasoned and flavorful), bacon(crunchy and not overly greasy), and this sausage gravy and biscuits that are a match made in heaven. As a side I went with the chocolate chip pancake which was STACKED with a chocolate chips, thin and crispy! If you are in the area check them out, I promise you will definitely become a regular here very fast. read more

I went to get a mani/pedi in this same shopping center which I've been going to for five years; however, it was in the morning and I had not had any breakfast and when I left the nail salon I was so hungry and noticed the Killian Cafe & Grill which I had never ventured to. I decided, why not , go for it. Well let me tell you, it was a very pleasant and yummy experience. The cafe is ample, clean and set off by itself. The menu is amazing! They offer so many different choices. They even have choices for those who are vegan or vegetarian. I'm a big fan of Eggs Benedict and there are so many varied choices for just this dish. I had the regular Eggs Benedict and coffee. It was delicious! The service was excellent and the waitress was friendly. Look up their menu and you will be pleasantly surprised as to what this gem has to offer. I will definitely be going back and taking friends and family. Also, I ordered a Portobello, onion, tomato wrap with potatoes on the side as a takeout for my vegan daughter. She had it for her lunch and loved it. A winner in my book! read more

I love this place! It has become my go to breakfast/brunch restaurant! They have a nice make shift outdoor eating area (10 or 12 tables) right in front of the restaurant. The area is covered by a roof and they have large umbrellas for added shade. They also have fans running to help with the heat. The service is great with an extremely friendly and helpful staff! The service has been outstanding! Menu is online you access it with your phones camera, plastic silverware, all very clean and sanitized! The food is amazing, large portion sizes and very reasonable! On two visits we had eggs Benedict and Florentine amazing! The eggs cooked just right with a runny center delicious! The home fries/potatoes are the tastiest I have ever had, highly recommended. We've also had chocolate chip waffles! So good, the smell was incredible when the brought them to the table! We had the biscuits and gravy very tasty, we also had the patty melt and home made onion rings. Best patty melt I've had in a long time. They are hard to find in Miami and even harder to find a good one! The onion rings are home made! Great food, great service, excellent flavor and good prices! Will be back for sure! read more

Are there for breakfast. Food was cooked well however the chicken and waffles was not that good. Maybe the oil in the fryer that week was old or something. Coffee is so so. For a cafe it's nice. However they have too large of a menu for breakfast and are trying to be a delicatessen. Far from it. Either way, I would go back if I wanted a decent breakfast as the omelettes are very good and you have a good amount of choices. There is something for everyone. read more

I came here with my co-workers. We had a later lunch-1ish and the place was packed. We sat outside bc it was the only place open. Luckily it was shaded and not too hot that day. The service was decently quick and very nice. The food was pretty good. I got a Greek plate which came with pita, hummus, that Greek yogurt sauce, the lamb in strips and a Greek salad, oh and some fries. I ate the entire thing. Some of my co-workers got crapes. They looked good. Another coworker got an omelette. I think they do certain breakfast all day. Another coworker got the pesto chicken sandwich. I can't believe I've never written a review of Killian Cafe. I've been coming here for two years now, and I will assert that they have the best tuna melt in the 305. Killian Cafe is excellent for casual and delicious breakfast, brunch, and early dinner. The menu includes all kinds of great sandwiches (ruben, tuna melt), some standard dinners (pork chop, salsbury steak), big breakfasts (omlettes, belgian waffles, crepes), and about a billion daily specials (gyro, felafel, etc.) It's our go-to place when we're out running errands on a weekend, or looking for a easy delicious dinner midweek. Decided to stop for breakfast on my commute, conveniently located off the 120th street exit from the turnpike. Always noticed there sign outside and thought it was more of a burger joint but the aesthetics inside makes it feel like a diner. The avocado toast was unexpected, didn't realize it would be more of a spread and come with breakfast potatoes and side salad. I needed a new restaurant that has breakfast pass 1030am so finding this place I was pretty surprise because I've seen the place around but didn't think about going. The environment was very nice and chill, comfortable and very welcoming to me feels like your eating at home. The server was very friendly and easy to explain things on the menu, the price for the meals isn't bad either. The cafe con leche was so delicious and I enjoyed the mug so much I wanted to buy the coffee mug but the server wasn't too sure, I guess I have to go when the owner is there and wait to see what he says. Quality of the food is just the right amount I just hope of and when they expand will they lose the quality and quantity I hope not. The owner Adan walks around to greet customers and makes sure everybody is happy, in a very personable manner. Menu is pretty much the standard brunch/breakfast stuff, like eggs and bacon, waffles, pancakes, french toasts, crepes, sandwiches, wraps, smoothies and more. I tried the belgian waffle and it was so delicious, flavorful batter and a bit crunchy. Let's be honest. Miami only has a handful of decent breakfast spots, and this ain't one of them. I happened to be in Kendall (not my part of town) so I decided to try what yelp rates as the number one breakfast spot in the area. First the good news: service is surprisingly fast and friendly. Now the bad: I ordered what was advertised as extra thick Texas cut French toast, and what was delivered was a pair of wonder bread slices dipped in egg. See photos below. What's sad is that I've lived all over this country and you couldn't get away with this blatant false advertising anywhere else. It's hard to find good American breakfast places that don't overcharge or that can't nail a hot cakes breakfast without having to go to IHOP. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because they're still slacking on the coffee that always falls a bit too light, but everything else it truly great. The location is a nice size, and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We started off with some orange juices and cappuccinos. I ordered mine with almond milk since I am lactose intolerant. I really like the fact that they offer other milk options here, as not all places do. After perusing the menu, I decided on their French Toast Slam breakfast special, which came with eggs (cooked your way), and your choice of bacon or sausage. I opted for fried eggs, over easy, and turkey sausage. My friend ordered 2 fried eggs, toast, home fries, bacon and sausage. Our meals were out within no time, and were well made and flavorful. We ordered the Grilled Dolphin Caesar Crepe $8.95 and the Shrimp Crepe $8.95: spinach, mushrooms, and cheese. Both came with fries and were a great price considering that they were seafood. I have nothing really to complain about with either crepe, but they didn't really stand out to me either. I preferred the Dolphin a little more since it had a slight blackened/grilled taste but the shrimp was tasty since it included the spinach and mushrooms. Every time I arrive from NY I visit this restaurant. It's that restaurant that's dependable and you know you're going to get a good meal.
