I walked over to the market to attempt to support the locals. They were very friendly and courteous but I do caution you that many folks will approach you to purchase items. You can be buying items from one person and another wants you to visit them afterwards. Nonetheless, I was able to pick up a couple items and may attempt to return and get some more items to take back to NY. Also, most of the vendors accept cash only-- no need to worry, they accept US currency!
