Appetizer BBQ shrimp
Tina T.

Went for lunch. We had to order at the bar and then seat yourself. Ordering took forever bc there was one person working the bar/ taking orders and another person bringing food out, cleaning tables. The person taking the orders was also the person immediately making bar drinks and sno cones. When you pay ahead, you are presented tip options as though it is a full service restaurant (starting at 18%). Except you serve yourself from the soda machine, and after your food is brought out no one checks on you. My BBQ shrimp ($14) wasn't bad, but there was no extra garlic butter sauce to dip your bread in at the bottom. So virtually no point in getting the bread with it. I was so disappointed. The crab claws (1/4lb) were meaty but overpriced in my opinion. The views from the deck are gorgeous and it was really nice eating outside.

Bbq gulf shrimp appetizer and red beans and rice.

This was some of the best food we had during our visit. It wasn't crowded as most places, the staff was patient and kind, and the air conditioning worked, lol! We wanted to come back before we left but they were closed the next time we were ready to visit them. Very tasty, fresh, and authentic food. My parents both had variations of the sampler (not pictured). I had the bbq shrimp and red beans and rice and I liked them both! We all weren't the biggest fans of the beignets and certainly not the syrup that went with it.

Food was decent but this is definitely the place to get your po'boy in pensacola! Will defiantly be back

Crawfish Étouffée Eggs Benedict

Nice place overlooking Santa Rosa sound. Little sand beach off the back deck. Terrific flavor on the Crawfish Étouffée Eggs Benedict over a couple of fried green tomatoes and bed of fresh spinach leaves. Bloody Mary was pretty darn good as well. All for $26 including 18% tip.

Shrimp and grits very salty that day. Sorry for the bad pic. It was very dark in there.

The look of Nola is very cool and the staff were friendly. The catfish and Poboy were pretty good standard for what they are but the romalaude sauce was excellent. The stuffed fish special was the best thing served that day. The stuffing was excellent. It had crab in it. I ordered the shrimp and grits. While everything seemed to have been prepared well, the grits had a nice texture and the shrimp were also prepared nicely, and the tomato sauce was thick. Unfortunately, the dish was painfully over salted and almost inedible. Hopefully it was just a problem on that day.

Says your open until ten show up before 8:30 and it's closed. Brother recommended it was excited to try it.

They have just about every type of seafood you could want, including mahi-mahi, red snapper, grouper, tuna, salmon, flounder, swordfish, amberjack, cobia, catfish, shrimp, crab, oysters, scallops, crawfish, lobster, and so much more. It's the perfect place whether you're planning a seafood dinner or just want to browse everything they have to offer. Besides the amazing seafood, they also carry a huge variety of seasonings, spices, seafood boils, sauces, marinades, breading mixes, frozen items, and other specialty foods that make it easy to prepare a great meal at home. You can find almost everything you need in one stop. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked quickly even though the store was busy. The market was clean, organized, and well stocked, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The quality and variety are hard to beat, and the prices are very reasonable for such fresh seafood. They're open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which makes it convenient to stop by whether you're a local or visiting Pensacola. If you're anywhere in the area and enjoy seafood, Joe Patti's is absolutely worth the visit. It's one of those places you'll want to come back to every time you're in town.

What really sets Joe Patties apart is the quality. Nothing compares to the freshness of their fish and seafood. If you feel like you're paying a little more, just know that when you cook it properly at home, the quality more than justifies the price. One tip: if you're getting steamed shrimp, skip the pre-steamed option. Go to the counter, pick out the shrimp you want, and have them steam it fresh for you. Definitely grab one of their tubs of garlic butter and herbs and have them add half or the full amount depending on how much you're getting. I got the Argentine shrimp, about a pound and a half, and had them use half the butter. No one in my group expected it to be as good as it was. I set the plate down and it was gone in less than five minutes. I was lucky to even get three pieces for myself. We also purchased a whole grouper and had them fillet it for us. We seasoned it with their Everglades rub, and I have to admit it was probably the best grouper I've ever had in my life. The freshness makes all the difference. We grill often and have made grouper before, but it's usually been frozen, and it never comes out anywhere near this good.
