I mean you can't go wrong with Kilwins. And you literally have to visit when there's one around. My absolute favorite is the peanut butter cups! Hands down the best. The ratio of chocolate to peanut butter is spot on! But not all stores have them. When I see them I have to buy more than one.

This is a super cute ice cream/ chocolate spot in downtown winter park. They had a ton of different flavors of ice cream, chocolates, fudge, fondue fountain- every sweet thing you could ask for. The pumpkin pie mixed with apple pie ice cream was very delicious and festive- and the server gave us huge scoops. My one complaint is the price- it was over $16 for a regular scoop and a kids scoop. I know that's the new standard for ice cream these days, but I thought id mention it.

It smells WONDERFUL when you walk in... fresh baked waffle cones I would come here everyday if I was closer lol Staff was so nice & friendly I ordered the waffle cones with a small cup of the "perfect apple pie" & "all berry pie" ice cream I would absolutely get that again ! There's so many selections of chocolate covered goodies and fudge too!

Walking around Park Ave in Winter Park, my friend and I found this place which is one of the most sinful, desirable, and delightful places when searching for something sweet and simple...well, not at Kilwins. OMG! This place has a tons of a different types of chocolate and treats that I couldn't choose from because I want them ALL!!! I had the rice crispy treat covered in chocolate and it was a good square size that could be split in 2 or even 3 pieces, but knowing myself, a chocolate monster... I couldn't resist it and ate it the whole thing! It was delicious and very crispy! It was a huge dose of sugar I didn't mine to eat! I have to go back to try more of their delicious sinful treats!

Kilwins is always a treat, but what makes it extra special for me is that they carry my favorite childhood ice cream,Superman! It's such a fun, colorful throwback that brings back the best memories. Creamy, vibrant, and just as delicious as I remember. And don't even get me started on the caramel-covered Oreos--absolute perfection! Rich, gooey, and totally addictive. Between the nostalgic flavors and the variety of handmade sweets, Kilwins is a must-stop whenever I'm nearby.

Kilwins is my go-to ice cream shop on Park Avenue in Winter Park. As soon as you walk in you smell the chocolate and waffles, such a wonderful smell. They make some of the products in house, so you can see them working with fudge or making the waffle cones. There are nearly 32 ice flavors to pick from and my favorites are the mint chocolate chip, chocolate and coffee. There are also chocolates, truffles, milkshakes, coffee, caramel apples, and more treats. They also have some sorbets. The shop is small, with no indoors seating area, only a couple of tables outside. It is more like a grab-and-go. This place is the perfect ending for a day walking on Park avenue or a treat after dinner. During peak hours it can get busy so be patience, the line moves quickly.

Georgia Peach and Chocolate - single scoop in waffle cone
    Kheyt C.

Boyfie got Georgia Peach and I got Chocolate, both in a waffle cone. I'm no ice cream connoisseur, but it's not worth the price for me. I wouldn't be back. Single scoop is $7.29 and double scoop is $10.99 (in a waffle cone). It's easy to say to expect higher prices because of the location, but as of August 2023 there's a new ice cream spot 8 minutes away in Winter Park Village that's reasonably priced and also tastes delicious. It was also challenging for me to find a recent menu online (google/yelp) before visiting the shop, so refer to photo below for the menu as of April 2023.

First timer here. I got one scoop of ice cream- huge scoop btw. Definitely shareable. Other than ice cream they had candy apples, chocolate and other treats. The only thing I got was the ice cream and yup it was pretty yummy! Quick service too. Would come back again. There is no seating inside but there is outside just fyi

I always love stopping here at park Ave or the celebration location. Their chocolate is amazing. I always get the dark chocolate orange peels and dark chocolate rice crispy treat. Those are my favorites. They had a great selection of Icecream, caramel apples, and gourmet chocolates. They even hand dip the caramel apples in the store window display. Always brings back good childhood memories! I can't wait to come back to try more chocolates and indulge!

    Chocolate toasted coconut ice cream

This is a great ice cream spot. I tried some samples, decided to get the chocolate toasted coconut ice cream, it was delicious. The service was very good and quick. The place is a casual place with some tables to sit at outside.

    Cappuccino Chocolate chip ice cream

Yummy ice cream in the heart of Winter Park, FL. I got the cappuccino chocolate chip flavor, I am a coffee lover but they have many more different flavors. You can choose the cone you'd like as well as any toppings they have. The shop is also considered a chocolate shop which they sell individual chocolates. I will say, it's a little pricey but it's good, which makes up for it!

Mackinac Island Fudge & Marsh-Mallow S'more Waffle Cone
    Adam B.

A great way to treat yourself when enjoying a nice walk through Winter Park. Lots of ice cream flavors along with tons of candy that I didn't even get a chance to try. Seemed like some great local flavor, better than a big national chain. Mackinac Island Fudge: I really enjoyed this one! It was a vanilla base with tons of thin fudge swirls. Almost like the Viennetta ice cream cake, if it was made of real good ice cream. I'm kinda weird in that I love fudge toppings but don't like chocolate ice cream, so this was perfect for me to get a very chocolaty scoop without actually getting chocolate ice cream. Marsh-Mallow S'more: I liked the chocolate and graham cracker bits, which gave it a fun texture. The marshmallow swirls were nice and even tasted like a little toasted. The marshmallow ice cream tasted a little funky though; so probably better as a swirl than an ice cream base flavor.

Was so happy to find this WP Kilwins location, used to go to one in the Chicago suburbs, they have all the same sweets, my favorite here in warm weather is their ice cream gelato, their salt caramel and white chocolate covered marshmallows, and their fudge is so good.

Since it is in the East End Market, you can simply waltz in with little to no line and order your delicious Gideon's treats. It is important to note that unfortunately they don't offer the cold brew here, however, as they don't have the facilities to make it like they do at Disney Springs. But, the cookies are just as delicious and they do always sell their limited edition cookies here in addition to their classics. It is also worth shopping around the market as well since there are many indulgences here ranging from sushi to cocktails to fun trinkets. I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference. In the evening it is a bit dark and I prefer a litle more light when eating. We started with the lions mane mushrooms and the lobster flatbread. The mushrooms were nice and hot while a little sweet. The lobster flatbread was crispy and tasty but a little cold. For drinks and cocktails they have a nice interesting list of selections. We had an espresso martini, a drink called positive affect and very interesting cloudstar. The drinks were beautiful and delicious. The descriptions on the menu are very inviting. Positive affect included vodka, cumber, basil, and citrus that was refreshing and a beautiful green color. The cloudstar sounds like it would be really sweet but it was not and was a very good drink. This had a lot going on but mixed together well which included vanilla, banana liqueur, proseco, and you pour passion fruit juice over cotton candy. Dylan our server was very attentive and kind. Entrees were a burger with these huge crispy fries, roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and I think they forgot to add the spinach. We also had the rack of lamb that was flavorful, tender and plated well. The meal presentations were very good. Some of our food could have been served a little hotter. Moving onto desserts we had the butterscotch creme brulee and the chocolate decadence that was like a torte with a very good berry sauce. Both desserts were very good! It was a good evening. I could not finish the rake of lamb so bonus I have lunch for tomorrow.

We stopped here since it was one of the closest spots to the golf course, but I was pretty disappointed. The biggest issue is that it is not actually a bowl, it is served in a cup. It makes it really difficult to enjoy all the toppings together since you can only eat one layer at a time, which defeats the purpose. The granola portion was also lacking, and you do not get to choose the amount. The ingredients themselves tasted good, but the execution made the whole experience underwhelming. On top of that, there was only one employee running everything during a busy Sunday around noon. I felt bad for her, but it did slow things down a lot. We had to wait while she made multiple orders before even being able to place ours, with a line forming behind us. I understand if it was a slower weekday, but during a peak time it just did not seem set up for success. I honestly wish I had not brought our cousins here for their first acai experience.

The design inside is minimalist and is definitely a place you could easily sit and relax in. We got the Tiger bowl which is an acai bowl with granola, double strawberry, peanut butter and protein and decided to add bananas which in theory sounds delicious. It comes in a smoothie cup for some reason which makes the amount of toppings you get much less than when you get bowls in other stores and it's filled to the top which also sounds great but awful considering the "bowl" comes layered so if you want to try the layers together it gets messy quite quickly. Once we got to the protein layer, we quickly found out it was raw protein powder. Just a layer of protein powder in the middle of the "bowl" is insane and takes up quite a bit of the space so you're getting less of everything else for something that could easily have just been mixed in from the beginning. After getting to the protein powder layer, it quickly ruins the rest of the layers as the powder doesn't mix well and clumps up everything and makes it gritty and close to inedible. And all in all, the "bowl" came out to around $23 before tip. Whilst normally I'm understanding of places having bad days, open to trying other things even after having a poor experience once and some menu items just not being for me, I would personally never want to return.
