    Bun bo hue large !
    ra l.

I'm so happy they reopened this location. I know they have an other new location more north in SGV. Best bun Bo hue in the land. Great portions and their price standard to other noodle shops. Quality broth and house made chili sauce and fish balls.

Wanted something soupy as my breakfast and stopped by this place. Very hole in the wall, but food was ok. When you arrive there is parking at the back, but it is one way. To-go says it's $12 for banh canh.... they charged me $14 dine in. Haven't had banh canh like this before, pretty ok. I'd rate it a 6.5/10. The lady was nice. Came right when they opened and they brought out this dish within 10 minutes. Bathroom didn't have toilet seat covers but may need some attention.

Very Authentic Vietnamese restaurant in SGV located at Temple City area... it's a very convenient parking place and shown a good sign that you won't miss when you enter Temple City from San Gabriel. There are mostly Vietnamese customers since they are shown mainly in Vietnamese menu items. A small description in English underneath the menu items... I ordered a Nem Lui, means Shrimp paste with veggies n herbs, plus on the side with Rice Papers. You have to do it yourself... tasty especially in the summer with a hot weather!! They have been selling a lot of appetizers, new items of snacks, plus phos ....

this place is pretty solid! i hadn't been here since i was a kid but my family and i used to frequent this place saturday and sunday afternoons. the appetizers were good and my bun bo hue came out piping hot! my favorite appetizer was the banh nam. i think they do catering trays too.

I don't know the names what I ate but it was all delicious. The fish sauce dressing is seasoned well.

The Mi Quang is legit. Better than most hue restaurants in Little Saigon. The broth is well balanced especially after adding lime juice. And there are tons of shrimps. Service is welcoming and I get nostalgic listening to their Viet music playlist. Restroom is not ideal but I'm here for the food. Next time will probably call in my order since it does take a bit of time to prepare

My family love this place so much, but apparently they have been cutting really short on crab meat . This is 2 order of banh canh cua for $28? I would rather eat pho with more protein than this .

Great Authentic Hue Vietnamese cuisine. The Lady at the register is nice and sweet. Speaks a little english so it's not too intimidating and helpful. Food always hits. Mi Quang, Banh Uot Thit Noung and Banh Nam are my favorite go to here. Y'all can cry about The restrooms all you want but the food is whats the point here. This place has my support.

The staff talks very impolitely. A very terrible experience and i'll never come back

A very terrible experience. The staff talks very impolitely. ! Food is normal, nothing special. Last time my mom said there were a lot of guests but now there is not a guest because there are people like that !! The environment is quite stuffy !! Never come back !!

We ordered 3 side dishes to serve as appetizers. Then tried the Mi Quang. Came here on the recommendation of a friend and was so happy I listened. We got lucky we came off lunch time hours and closer to the christmas holiday so the place was empty and we didnt have to wait too long for our food. The side dishes were delicious, you could tell from the consistency of the texture that it was made fresh the same day. Which I find that some restaurants dont do. My parents loved this place. The Mi Quang was flavorful and even the regular size was a big portion. I almost had to take it home as leftovers. We will definitely come back again for lunch.

They even have Set Dinner Menu that comes with pre-set items. Have to give that a try one day. We ended up ordering the Bún Bò Huế and the Vietnamese Braised Fish. The Braised Fish did not come with steam rice, so we had to order the steam rice. For the drinks, we had the Peach Oolong Iced Tea and the 3-Colored Dessert. The Bún Bò Huế was very good. The Braised Fish was a little salty but still tasted good. The Peach Oolong Iced Tea was refreshing. The 3-Colored Dessert was very yummy. I enjoyed the sweet taste of it. This soup is so pungent that the only time I get to savor it is at home and the stink doesn't leave your home for a few days. So, it is to my delight that they offer it here during the weekdays. It is a nicely stacked bowl that has everything but the kitchen sink in it - roast pork belly, catfish, squid, eggplant, and stuffed jalapeno with fried fish cake. Very filling and reasonably priced! The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of 5 rating is because you can only order certain items from the menu when they open. I wanted to get some Chinese food to-go for my husband, but was told by the server that the other items were only available beginning at 10 am, which is odd to me.

I grew up eating pho in Saigon and IYKYK, the pho in North America vs in Saigon are distinct. One isn't inherently better than the other, it's just a matter of taste. But, I was very pleasantly surprised that the pho here comes very close to pho in Saigon, a taste I've often craved (and this is also how I cook pho at home), but haven't been able to come across in North America. Didn't think I'd find it here in the SGV vs in Orange County where I lived for 10+ yrs. Broth at Viet Huong is richer vs the clear broth favored at most places here. The brisket (thịt chín) has a little bit more fat to it which makes it less dry, cut with a meatier cut vs paper thin. The rare beef is minced a little. All the good things that remind me of the good old Saigonese pho flavors. The staff is very friendly. They all speak English really well which made me doubt the authenticity of the food (lol) but that worry was put to rest soon after my pho bowl came out. This will become my new favorite pho place.

I already love this plaza, but this place quickly became one of my favorite spots there. One thing I really love is their pork spring rolls. They make them fresh when you order, and you can definitely taste the difference. They're so fresh, delicious, and honestly one of the best spring rolls I've had in a while. They also do catering, which I definitely plan on using in the future if I ever host a party or birthday because the food is just that good. I only had one issue during one of my visits. I can't eat cucumber, so I asked for no cucumber in both my pork dish and spring rolls. They accidentally still included it in my pork dish. Thankfully, when I brought it up, they fixed it quickly and apologized right away, which I appreciated a lot. I still love this place, but I do think it's important for people with allergies or food restrictions to double check their food before eating, just to be safe. Besides that, everything else has been amazing. The restaurant has a really calm atmosphere with lots of greenery and that open, cozy Vietnamese restaurant feel. The workers are also really kind and welcoming every time I come in. I also appreciate how authentic this place feels. Whenever I'm trying food from another culture, I always want something that feels genuine, and this place definitely gives me that experience. I came by on a Friday at 7pm for a dinner (weekend before Mother's Day) and was able to get seated in 15 minutes. They have a Yelp waitlist but you must go in person to join the waitlist. There's a spacious parking lot but there's rarely any spots available and will require you to wait for a free one. The interior is honestly very pretty. It's decorated with overhead chandeliers with bright lights and marble tables. When your table is ready, they also give you a tray full of chopsticks, napkins, and forks. Each table also has hoisin, sriracha, chili sauce, and another sauce I'm not too sure about. After we ordered, I got my pho da biet maybe 5 minutes after. The cha gios also came out a few minutes after too. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's com tam was forgotten about until after I devoured my pho. We even asked them about it in the middle and it was checked on but we weren't updated and thought they had went ahead and cancelled it but it still came out. No biggy, we packed it to-go since we basically split the pho da biet. Food: Pho da biet (9.5/10): The pho was soooo delicious. It was meaty with a little bit of sweetness to it. This is one of the few places where I don't feel the need to sauce down my pho to enjoy it. There's a good amount of meat in here. If you're a tendon enjoyer, there's about 3 big chunks in here. I love the way they separate everything. If you order this, it comes with the stone bowl at no additional costs. They separate the noodles and ribeye on the side and let you "decorate" it yourself. There was also a good amount of noodles in here. Com tam (7.9/10): I thought that this one was just okay. We got the grilled pork and grilled pork chop and I thought that the meats were cooked perfectly. There was a nice char to the meats and it was seasoned deliciously. It came with a lot of rice and a side of soup to enjoy! I did enjoy this fish sauce more than the one that came with the egg rolls. Overall, I wish this dish came out the same time as the pho so we could've enjoyed it together. Cha gio/Imperial Rolls (7/10): I love egg rolls but this one didn't really stand out to me. It comes with a good amount of vegetables that you can use to wrap your egg rolls in. I wish the fish sauce that came with this was more salty. Maybe it was that day, but I couldn't really tell what was inside the filling. It was all mushed in together instead of different layers. The skin was very thin and crispy which I really liked!

The broth was deeply flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and it came loaded with big, meaty pork feet and pork blood that made it feel extra hearty and authentic. If you're looking for a delicious Vietnamese takeout option, don't skip the fish! I'll definitely be ordering it again. #YelpElite #Takeout #SGVEats

For our family of seven, we always call ahead and order their famous baked medium catfish the day before so it's ready when we arrive for our reservation. It's always the highlight of the meal. We also never skip the 7 Courses of Beef and usually order two sets for the table. Everything is delicious and perfect for sharing family style. What keeps us coming back, beyond the amazing food, is the warm and welcoming family atmosphere. The staff always make us feel at home and Kevin is hands down the best! He's friendly, attentive and always helps make our celebrations feel extra special. Great food, great service, and a place that truly feels like family. Highly recommend for any family gathering or special occasion!
