Came on a Monday for lunch and service was swift and kind. Def a mom and pop joint as you can tell from the older aunties and uncles serving and working here. I normally would get pho at a Pho joint but it was pretty warm today so I tried the vermicelli special combo and boy it was amazing! Loved that they had not just nem but also shrimp ball meats! Def try the mung bean pandan drink, I got their Veit coffee but I didn't think it was all that strong. Very flavorful pho broth and eats here! Def on my list of returns

Came here with the parents and I ordered a regular pho bowl and egg rolls. The pho bowl was large and soup was warm and comforting. I unfortunately didn't love their egg roll filling or flavor. It wasn't as expected or wasn't what I'm use to, although the eggrolls were made very well. There is a small parking lot located in the back, but we parked in the plaza parking and just walked over. The interior was large and filled with tables. They also have a small mini market at the front where you can purchase snacks, sauce and dessert.

Sad to announce they changed owners and quite possibly the chef as well. I came once last month and wasn't happy with the broth. I came again with my mom to try it one last time. My mom ordered a large bowl and the noodles were still in a bundle not fully cooked which made for a hard bire. My mom didn't touch her bowl afterwards. The flank was tough, making it tiring to chew. The rare steak was good tho. They used red onions instead of white too. They kept all the same decor inside, but the new owners I believe are canto/viet.

Casual local shop. I didn't like their pho (pho filet 1 is better). But their Com Dac Biet (Rice combo) $18 was amazing during this visit. Their fried shrimp bean curd is a must!!!! Best I've had! Entrance facing the street, with parking on its sides. Credit card taken for $20+ orders. We've been to Pho Filet 1 for years, and only visited Pho Filet 2 due to location convenience. Our default takeout order for most Vietnamese restaurants that serve both decent soup and rice dishes -- #6. Spring Roll (Shrimp pork) $7 #16. Pho Dac Biet (Pho beef combo), XL $14. Broth was sad. #42. Com Dac Biet (Rice combo) $18. Amazing!! Fried shrimp bean curd is a must, best ever had. It comes with a bowl of soup. #124. Rau Ma (pennywort drink) $6. It's not too sweet. They also have family meals (2-8ppl) here with catfish and now. Have not tried it. They do takeout catering $85.

4.5/5 It took me a while to try this pho place because some of the reviews weren't that great, but I'm glad I finally gave it a chance. This restaurant is very no-frills. The staff isn't rude or unfriendly- just straightforward and efficient. They get the job done. If you're expecting a very warm, welcoming hospitality, you might be a little disappointed. I usually get takeout here, and the process is always quick, smooth, and to the point. Also, bonus points for opening early at 9 a.m.! The pho meats are tender and never dry or stale. I especially love their fatty brisket and rare fillet steak. The pho noodles are just how I like them: not too thick, with a good amount of chew. The broth isn't the richest or most savory I've had, but it's well-balanced and satisfying. The "large" portion should be enough for most people, unless you have a big appetite. I also always get their Vietnamese coffee. It's thick, strong, and hits the spot every time. There's an additional charge for payments made with a credit or debit card. They have a parking lot, which is a plus, but it can fill up during peak hours.

The prices were decent. Food was good and what I expected to taste like.... I had to ask for nuoc cham which I thought was weird. Restaurant looks like a typical ambiance of a Vietnamese restaurant. Overall, an average experience.

A friend recommended me to try the pho here. Happy to say he had a solid suggestion! The restaurant is located in a weird little plaza, but they do have free parking available in the lot. Their pho was delicious. I ordered the chicken soup with chicken stock. It was so clean. They served me half a chicken, so I had to pick at the bones. I also ordered the fried egg roll appetizer, which was amazing. I love that it comes with all the green veggies. I must have eaten more veggies that meal than in the entire week! The serving ladies were very nice. Our table was small, and they helped us arrange things to fit all the dishes. I would come back!

This is probably the best pho spot in the 626 area! I've been here a couple times and never had to wait because they have a lot of tables inside and food comes out quick! I ordered the beef ball and fatty brisket pho. I really appreciate that the broth isn't too salty and has a lot of authentic beef flavor in it. The fatty brisket MELTS in your mouth. I loved it! They give you a lot of pieces of meat to go with the delicious, bouncy noodles. For $12, it is such a steal for the portion and its high quality ingredients! I also love how they give you onions on the side so you can add it in based on your own preference. The staff are nice and friendly! It's a very casual setting as you pay at the cashier once you have finished your meal. Overall, would come back again!

I have heard from many locals who swear by this place. I live in Rosemead, so the fact that I haven't been here yet is blasphemy! I met my friend who owed me a Birthday meal here and he was greeted by the server like an old buddy. So I'm guessing he comes here that much. The inside looked pretty traditional for a pho place, they even had a glass case that had additional things to purchase, even Asian sausage! He recommended the flank pho and mentioned that the broth will be darker than other broths and he was right! It was also very flavorful! The drink selection was amazing! Tons of boba choices. Teas, slushes and milk teas! I gotta come back for those drinks! I give this place a 5 out of 5. Excellent. Will definitely come back.

Pho is decent. Very barebones restaurant, you come for the food and just the food. Restroom is very small and toilet takes a couple flushes to actually flush. Food is not cheap nor are they generous with their portions, but their soup broth is delicious and not too salty and fat like other pho places.

    Oscar B.

In my opinion, the pho here is pretty average though does satisfy the pho cravings. In my last trip here, when it came to their pho dac biet, the broth had okay flavor, the noodles were too soft, and the meat was of average quality. Nothing special. This spot's pretty popular in the community but I think there are plenty of other places in SGV right now to get better pho. I've come here quite a few times but mainly because they do have cool interesting drinks like the durian smoothie/shake.

Three Years Later... The OG Flavor Is STILL OG!…read more Haven't been back to this spot in over THREE years! After hearing they went through a whole trial of new ownership and are now back with the original ownership, I figured it was finally time to come back and see if the OG still had it... and spoiler alert: THEY DO. #27 Hủ Tiếu Mì Nam Vang (Khô Hay Nước) -- 9.5/10 | $16.99 #30 Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả Cua Trứng Muối, Tàu Hủ Ky -- 8/10 | $14.99 Let's start with the reason I came back... #27 Hủ Tiếu Mì Nam Vang -- 9.5/10 | $16.99 This is hands down one of my favorite dishes from here YEARS ago, and I was honestly nervous it wouldn't taste the same after being gone for so long. But WOW... it still hits! I ordered the special egg noodle + clear noodle combination, and you get the option of dry or soup-based. I went with the dry version because that's where the magic happens! The noodles sit over their special sauce at the bottom, so once you mix everything together, every single strand gets coated in that sweet, savory goodness. It comes loaded with a delicious mix of meats, plus a side of fresh veggies and a pork bone soup for dipping or sipping alongside. The broth was hot, flavorful, and comforting, while the noodles had that perfect texture. And somehow... after THREE YEARS, it tastes the same--if not BETTER. This is clearly one of the dishes they're known for, and I completely understand why. 10/10, no notes. This bowl alone was worth the drive back! #30 Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả Cua Trứng Muối, Tàu Hủ Ky -- 8/10 | $14.99 Hubby went with the broken rice dish, which came with a pork chop, shredded pork skin, steamed egg with salted egg yolk, and tàu hủ ky, plus a side of soup. I actually really enjoyed how simple and comforting this dish was. The pork chop was nicely done, and the shredded pork skin added a good texture. The only thing that threw me off was the salted egg yolk--it was VERY subtle and honestly didn't have much flavor at all. I was expecting that salty, rich egg-yolk punch, but she was definitely playing shy. Still a solid dish overall and came with a nice little bowl of soup on the side. And can we talk about the renovation?! After three years, I walked in and was like... EXCUSE ME, WHO IS SHE?! The restaurant has been completely renovated and has such a much nicer, modern ambience compared to what I remember from years ago. It feels fresh, clean, and welcoming while somehow still keeping that familiar feeling of the OG spot. Service: Super quick! We were seated immediately around 5:30 PM, and our food came out in less than 8 minutes. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and ready to eat. Honestly, I'm SO glad I gave this place another try. Sometimes you leave a restaurant for years and come back wondering if the food will still live up to the memories... and this one absolutely did. If anything, the OG ownership coming back may have been exactly what this place needed. I already know what I'm ordering next time because that #27 is officially BACK on my rotation! Happy Eats!

They're getting big enough that they are expanding next door in the same plaza, stay tuned for that one! I tried their pork plate along with the Cornish Hen. I don't recommend the Cornish Hen, it was super dry and took way too long to make. The other dishes are good as well as the sides. Each side is good enough on its own, but the balance of freshness and clean (feels healthy but oh so tasty ). Would keep coming here, just avoid the Cornish Hen! Maybe will try again if they change the recipe or something. Order almost an hour in advance if you are doing take out, they will prioritize customers eating in the restaurant (makes sense), so during peak meal times, be ready to wait and plan ahead!

The broth is perfectly seasoned and really ties the whole bowl together. I always ask to skip the blood cubes and opt for extra pig's feet instead, which they handle perfectly. The ratio of tender meat to fresh vegetables balances the noodles beautifully, and the satay is an absolute must-add to hit that savory umami flavor profile. All in all, I have no complaints. Pretty Trang tasty. Get it?!…read more Today, I stopped by for a Bon Rieu, Nem Cuom, and a House Special iced tea. Service: Service was short and the entire wait took 5 minutes. That's right, 5 minutes. Although I did go around 9:50AM so there wasn't a line nor another party in the dining area. Food: I woke up craving Vietnamese and this place didn't disappoint. The Bon Rieu had the depth of flavor that I crave. Honestly, I judge most Vietnamese pho restaurants by their Bon Rieu because some places simply use seafood powder in their stock to fake it. What results is a very thinly flavored broth that has very little umami. Bon Rieu should have THE MOST umami of any soup dish because of its tomato and crab base. That's how you can tell if a place is cutting corners. The Nem Cuom is huge and the dipping sauce is generous. The House Special Tea is reminiscent of a passion fruit green tea from a boba place. Sweetened just enough to not be saccharine. Ambiance: Quite small. I believe one of their main issues may be parking during peak hours as it shares a tiny parking lot with many other businesses. HOWEVER, neighborhood parking is plentiful and just around the corner past the Sheridan Hotel and Starbucks. Round the corner and you'll find plenty of parking throughout the day.
