Decided to check out this spot (instead of my usual nail salon) since I was in the area. Big mistake. They did not communicate how long the wait was for a pedicure. I waited 40 mins, no look books for colors (a bucket of swatches was finally handed to me when I sat down for the pedicure). The deluxe pedicure was more like a basic at any other place I have ever been. The person that did the pedicure must've been new because it took him another 1 hour and 20 mins to do the pedicure. I get if you are learning, that is not a problem. Just communicate that. Never again will I come here. Much better and more efficient places in Tulare to go. read more

My friend went in with her 7 year old daughter to get a nails polished, and a pedicure. She inquired about their children's special which the tech informed her there was. They charged her $75 for a kids pedicure and a finger nail polish. Granted it was gel. They charged her $5 for adding one nail a different color she stated. Ridiculous to charge $75 for a child's pedicure that doesn't even include full service. They will never receive our business again. Rip off read more

I took my 7 year old for a pedi and manicure. The lady that helped me said kids special. When I was done and checking out, the owner charge me $75. She said it was $45 for her toes because there was three different gel sets and $30 for her nails because she used three colors. Mind you it's a little girl and I went the day before and got my pedicure and my daughter's pedicure, and we paid the same amount for gel pedicures! Rip off and place was gross and dirty! She sells used shoes that have been worn on the center of a table pretty nasty mosquitoes and flies everywhere. I don't recommend this place to anybody, especially for the price that I paid that is not special at all. I have never paid no more than $50 and that is what nail art at any place for my kid. Kim said each color of gel was an additional five dollars more. That is insane and ridiculous. read more

Best experience ever! I felt very pampered here, if I could give this place 10 stars and including my manicurist "Larry" I would. I believe I finally found my spot. I walked in for a fill, and was seen within 10 min. The fill here is only 20 dollars, but feels like they do so much more than the normal. Located in the corner, its really not hard to miss with the giant sign that says "Kim nails and spa" Very, very clean inside, and the customer service is top notch. The patrons are very friendly, and they have clientele built for years with conversations I over heard. Larry my manicurist was so friendly and funny, and not hard to understand which I love. He did such an amazing job on my nails, I left feeling like a 10! I cant wait to come back and see what the other girls are like! read more

I called and was able to walk in on short notice (I really appreciate this). My pedicure went well and looks nice... my shellac manicure on the other hand is terrible. My cuticles were not done properly and the shellac is all over the place - it is already starting to lift on day 4, it is definitely not going to last as long as it should. My mother has been a fan of Ms. Kim geez over 10 yrs . yes before the shop. Whenever I come visit we always get pedi's, everyone is pretty friendly in the shop they're clean and they try to make sure they are not late on your appt., maybe a 10 min wait on a busy day with an appointment due to walk in appointments but they take care of you. I'm a fan but I'm sorry my heart is Los Angeles for my 5 star treatment, but this is my go to place in T town. read more

I have been to this salon a few times and always get decent service with friendly workers. However, yesterday I got my nails done by KIMBERLY and I will not go to anyone else now. She was so great. Her technique was amazing, she was kind and helpful when asking for help picking a design. My nails were not done properly from my last fill so she recommended i just do a full set instead because my nails were popping off, so we did that. I really recommend her. read more

Had gel nails done a few days ago-- two hours later, two of the nails peeled right off. Went in the next day and had those fixed. The next day three more nails start lifting and came off too. So that's $25 down the drain. Disappointing because I know this is a good local business. Possibly need employee training on how to do gel nails? read more

I am giving 5 stars to Van. She is amazing! I LOVE her. I drive all the way from San Diego to have her do my nails. I have not found anyone close to Van. She takes her time inspite of the fact there is pressure for her to hurry. She does a beautiful job on my nails every time! I also like Kim's brother. He did my nails once and they were nice. So if you want very nice nails, wait for Van. She will not disappoint. Unfortunately Kim the owner does not allow me to make an appt with Van on Fri or Sat but you can make an appt with Kim. BE CAREFUL!!!!! My sister went in to get her nails done for graduation. They came out horrible!!!! The guy file down too much and now part of her own nail is bein exposed. Super disappointed. I use to go to Kim's regularly until I found a new place closer to home. I went back because I had a gift certificate. I got a fill which resulted in a fungus under my acrylics. Nail polish lasted maybe 3 days. I went to my regular place after about a week and a half of nails I hated. He took my acrylics off and started a whole new set after seeing the fungus and the fact that they were separating from my regular nails. Awful experience. read more

The place is nicely decorated, clean, and the manicure lasts almost a week. So what is the problem? 4 out of 5 visits I end up with the owners Kim and Larry doing my manicure/pedicure and they spend the entire time answering the phone and it keeps me from relaxing and instead makes me want to get out of there as quickly as possible. If you can guarantee a different manicurist - great. But if your luck is like mine you are better off somewhere else. read more

I made a appointment that morning for 10 girls, they readily accepted us at 10am. They were quick with all of us and very hospitable. The boss, Larry, made us all crack up with his sense of humor and cheesy jokes. He made the experience even that much richer. We all got Pedis that were $20 and French was $3 more. They have 6 Pedi chairs, so we were done quick. They also do eyebrows! Deff will come back again with our groups in the future. read more

I was extremely disappointed. I went here for my birthday to get basic French Manicure Acrylics. The lady helping me was watching the TV almost the entire time. She wasn't even looking at my hands as the did them! She stopped frequently for a few minutes at a time to look back at the television as she did my nails. Due to her obvious distraction, one of my nails was completely uneven from my other nails. My nails ended up looking cheap and uneven. I highly recommend you go elsewhere to get your nails done. I ended up paying 35$ for a botch job on permanent acrylic nails. Go somewhere else! I know I'll never be back there again. read more
