This is my place, super close to my house so I find myself more often than not. I love the staff, they are so nice and relatable, feels like home when I come in. They all know me so well along with all my drinks and how I like them (sorry for being picky about sugar guys lol!) New expansion is really nice, lots of space now. Had spicy squid balls and spicy popcorn chicken, both were good and really spicy. Friend had mango smoothie he was also pleased. One major complaint is the music. It's way way way too loud. Tone it down, people there want to chill and chat with friends. read more

I love Kim's Teahouse, there's simply nothing that quite compares. My friends and I always miss it when we are away at college, we started coming here years back and any time we are in town it is one of the first places we choose to go. Kim's Teahouse is eclectic and charming. The staff is always friendly and the service is incredibly quick, even when there is a line to the door. My husband ordered a fruit tea. It tasted like syrup juice with regular cut fruits that weren't even peeled or cut for a drink. I didn't taste any tea. It was unnaturally sweet for a fruit tea drink. I wouldn't order it again. I ate the fruit eventually not wanting to waste food but dumped the sugary contents. read more

Another place I can find my perfectly crafted peach black tea! Not too sweet but not too much tea. And the boba is always fresh. Best place to chill during these hot summer days. The banh mi is also pretty good for being in Katy. Would show up here more often if it wasn't so nasty hot outside, I freaking melt all over the sidewalk just getting to my car. read more

Kim's teahouse is fantastic! We've been searching for a good boba place in Katy so that we didn't have to drive all the way to The Teahouse for a good drink, and we finally found Kim's last week. Atmosphere is very welcoming and comfy, although the restroom was most unpleasant. Beverages are pretty solid, they're choice of drink has much variation. My husband and I liked Kim's Tea House since we don't have to drive to Bellaire to buy drinks. Many smoothies are very liquidity and I don't like that. Well, for the first time, a lady made my avocado smoothie and it was not the same that I normally get. They had cut back the fruit which makes it low quality drink. I bought the drink to throw it in the trash! The tea that my husband had was fine because it was already made. I'll give it a try again or try the other tea house next door. read more

Best tea house in Katy. Went to the one in Houston for years and was so happy when the Katy location opened. Awesome service from the girls and guys behind the counter no matter how busy!!! Love that they have punch cards (I've used about ten in the last few months) They are a bit skimpy on the tapioca which I could do without (obviously), but the prices are more than tolerable. The drinks often taste a biiiit watered-down, which once again, I could do without, but they taste great every time which is worth all 5 stars to me! Oh, and of course, the calamari, veggie sandwich, and sweet potato fries are incredible. Definitely give all of their food a try. A lot of is intimidating to most people (Tapioca as well), and you might not like it the first time if you aren't open to new foods/tastes/textures. I promise, if you go into Kim's with optimism, you won't be disappointed! And, if you are, go back and try something different! There's something for everyone here, all of my friends and family love it after I take them here :) read more

From the other reviews, it looks like there are some good drinks to be had here. I will never be back to find out though. Went in once and asked if I could just have a small hot plain coffee. She brought me a huge hot coffee in one of those tall, thin plastic cups meant for cold drinks. She named the price which was the price you would pay for a tall specialty drink - not a small coffee. A bit stunned but not wanting to be difficult, I handed her the money. I took a sip of the coffee. It was overloaded with sugar. I finally explained to her that this was completely different than what I asked for. She did not offer to make it right. She actually got mad at me, blamed the miscommunication on me, and then refused to make eye contact as she grabbed the drink back, took the money out of the register and slapped it down on the counter. I one more time tried to reason with her calmly. When she refused to even look at me, I asked the older woman behind her if this was how they treat customers. She looked down and then turned away! I honestly had not raised my voice or been rude at all. At that point though, I could feel that I was about to. Decided it wasn't worth it and turned around and walked out the door. But wow! Will NEVER go back to this business. read more

Went here at 8:30 at night . They stay open until 10pm. The place had a short line so we quickly got our order . I ordered a vanilla smoothie with tapioca and my boyfriend ordered a lychee slurpee with tapioca . We were both highly satisfied . We also got fried calamari . Super delicious !!! read more

The tapioca is sweet and not too hard. They also don't get stuck in the straw. The honeydew is so delicious. If you like tea, you HAVE to try the milk tea. It is so flavorful and and perfectly sweetened. Friendly staff, fun environment. The tea was really sweet a little too sweet. I got the BBQ pork bahn mi and in less than an hour I was in pain and got sick. I would not recommend getting the pork from this location as it is either poorly cooked or old. I have not tried any other menu items but I don't think I will be returning. read more

I was remotely around the area when i discovered this location of Kim's teahouse. Their staff was very friendly and flexible. To elaborate, i ordered the milk tea with tapioca but requested if they could make it into a slush. Their drinks are reasonably priced , about $3.50-$4.00 a drink.
