I can't believe after all these years, I haven't left a review for Kinaly Thai Express! This is our go-to spot for Thai in Escondido. We have tried so many of the different ones and always come back to Kinaly! Some of our favorites: Pad Thai Pad Woon Sen (not found everywhere, and theirs is delicious - glass noodles - perfect when you want some lighter noodles) Basil Entree Eggplant Entree All the Curries Fresh Spring Roll Fried Egg Roll Basically almost everything on the menu :) Beef, Shrimp, and Tofu are our top proteins. The staff is very friendly and we call the orders in and they are ready for us in 10 min or so (on busy weekday lunch days). They have a rewards system (sign up with your phone # at their kiosk) and every few visits you can cash in for $10 off (or sooner for other freebies). They have added a little market inside with fun candies (lots of Hello Kitty), chips, drinks to try as well as some toys now, too. Glad to have them so close!

The spring rolls were really good but the green curry was soooooooooooo good! Absolutely loved it. Staff was very kind and explained things well as I have some food allergies. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Kinaly Thai Express continues to be a super reliable, quick, and delicious nearby option for Thai food in Escondido! I ordered at the counter for takeout, and even though it was a full house, it still only took about 15 minutes to receive an appetizer and two entrees. Great, speedy service! Stopped in for lunch for the first time. I ordered the Drunken noodles and Papaya salad. The meat in the noodles were dry and not very good...the papaya salad tasted like it had been made several days ago....the texture was odd and you could tell it wasn't fresh. It came out way too fast to be made fresh. It was very disappointing. I won't be back. Restaurant is disorganized and messy.

Was starving so stopped by here randomly and the spot is cute and clean. Very modern. It's an express Thai place so you order at the counter and the food comes in plastic/ paper plates - nothing fancy. Great flavors like what you expect from Kinaly Thai. The portions are tiny though. I got the lunch special for $12 (chicken eggplant) and it was the smallest portion I've had. I was still starving afterward and could have probably ate another meal here. For that alone, I probably won't be coming back because of the portion size

Great Thai Food joint in a well known shopping center. They also have boba, teas, and imported sodas. Service is fast! I ordered at the cashier in the front, had a seat and about five minutes later my order (three kings, with a side of white rice and a milk tea with boba) was delivered to my table. The place is small... I think five tables. They have a couple tables outside. Five stars for a delicious, flavorful meal.

I noticed this place a few weeks ago, as I passed by I saw a cute boba tea display and great lunch specials! For my short lunch period I called ahead and placed my order with a friendly worker. Within 15 minutes I picked up my freshly made food and devoured It! The food was flavorful, perfect spice level and well portioned for the affordable price ! I would recommend this place because of the hardworking staff, the cute, bright interior and of course the authentic food!

Walked in pretty close to closing time (I know that's annoying sorry) and was greeted right away. I ordered the drunken noodles and tom kha with chicken. Both were super good and came out promptly. Will definitely be back soon! read more

I've been wanting to try this place when I saw that it was opened and today was finally the day. Small shop with a few booths. Love the Kinaly logo on the door. Josh was the cashier today and he's very conversational and efficient as he can multitask (made 2 Thai teas while answering a phone call). Surprised the food came in a large cup, thought it was someone's soup until it was handed to me haha but that doesn't really matter as long as the food is good. I ordered chicken pad see ew and it was delicious as well as the Thai tea. Cant wait to come back to try the fried rices and curries read more

This place is just incredible. Initially I was a huge fan of the original Kinaly Thai in San Marcos. While that location was not too far from me it was definitely still a bit of a drive but it was all worth it because the food was so good! Then I saw that Kinaly Thai Express was going to open up and I became ecstatic. My favorite Thai food now right near my house? It was too good to be true. Thankfully it was not. The interior of the restaurant was smaller than the San Marcos location but felt much nicer and the area surrounding it felt safer. I at first was nervous that the food would taste differently but truly the food was amazing and to my delight tasted exactly the same as it's other location. I would highly recommend Kinaly Thai Express with its wonderful food, service, and atmosphere! read more

For some reason the curry is much thinner here than if you go to the actual restaurant over by money pit. This happened a few times so we just go to the actual restaurant when we have time to sit and eat. read more

Food was delicious but quantity was very less compared to other restaurants. We ordered orange chicken and pieces of chicken were too less compared to rice plus size was toooo small. Drunken noodles were tasty but again quantity wise not enough for one person. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. First of all the food all spilled inside the bag when I picked it up and when I went inside I presented my coupon from THEIR YELP PAGE and the person said no right away. How can you offer a coupon on your own page and not accept it. Very disappointed will not return. read more

Just moved in the area and looking to see what eatery is nearby. I was craving Thai Food, and this place looked promising. I ordered the Tom Kha Soup with Shrimp as mild. So delicious. Stir Fry Cashew Nut with Chicken, also so delicious. Thai Fried Rice with shrimp and Pad See Ew with beef, you cannot go wrong. Mom is very picky with her food, and she gave it a thumbs up! The food is so delicious, that I'm going to order again for my mom's birthday today. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. read more

I was reallly hungry and looking forward to some good Massaman Curry. I can't tolerate much spice so asked for zero spicyness. When I got home and dug in I was sooo disappointed. My food was so spicy I couldnt taste the other flavors. I ended up not eating the curry and just the plain rice :/ and my mouth is still on fire. To be fair, it probably wasn't a 10, but at least a 6 even for people who love spicy. read more

Today was my second time coming to Kinaly. Food was just as amazing as the first time. I called in my food order, estimate pick up time was 10-15 mins when I got there my food was ready and still really hot. First time I came I got the drunken noodles heat #3 the taste was awesome. Today, I got the Pad Thai heat #4 and again, they didn't disappoint. And, I like the round containers they used perfect when your on the go. read more

Had a terrific first meal today. I will be back. The lunch special is a great deal and the quality and taste was great! I had Pad See Ew. She then proceeds to talk about me in front of me to the barista as they kept looking at me and laughing like I was an idiot to request less ice. Not a great second experience. My drink tasted very watered down. Next time I visit I'll happily drive to Carlsbad where they seemed to care about how you wanted your drink made to make sure you like it.

I recently dined at Kinaly Thai Express in Escondido, and it was so much fun from start to finish. The vibe of the restaurant is incredibly cute, featuring big statues of food and boba that are perfect for taking pictures with. The atmosphere blends an upscale street food feel with the comfort of an air-conditioned space, creating a great spot for a pleasant lunch. Our dishes came out quickly, allowing us to enjoy our meal together without any delay. The standout for me was the garlic pepper chicken with medium spice. It disappeared from all of our plates in no time. The boba was a sweet relief on a hot day for two reasons. One, because it was delicious. Two, as someone sensitive to dairy products, I was pleased to find that their boba was made with non-dairy creamer! Yay! I have a couple of minor complaints. The toilet is quite loud, which is REALLY startling, and there was no ice available in the machine for our water. These small inconveniences are why I couldn't give Kinaly Thai Express a perfect five star rating, but still loved the stop, especially because of the charming ambiance, tasty dishes, and cute decor. Ordered 3 types of curry, 2 (chicken/Beef) Panang and 1 Yellow Curry (Shrimp). Used Door Dash, no meat in all three of the curry. Very disappointing. The sauce was good so we took frozen shrimp added that to the meal. During these hard times, we are ordering more to support food businesses. This may be the wrong one to support. read more
