    Tandoori fish and tikka masala
    Thiri T.

Our highlights: tikka masala (We are not basic eaters! It was truly really good). The chicken was tender and smoky, and felt like it really belonged in the perfectly spiced curry rather than as an afterthought. Garlic naan was also very pillowy and buttery. We also loved the samosa chaat. Room for improvement: As a chicken 65 fan, I was really looking into their chicken 69 (also why did they name it that lol) and was a bit disappointed. It's more of a Nepalese flavor and even has Chinese bbq red food coloring. I wish they gave us more samosa chaat instead because the chicken portion was humongous. Also the tandoori fish needs to be grilled, and not just covered in spices because then it just tastes bitter ): The restaurant is way bigger and modern than it seems!! Huge portions. 4/5 despite some criticism because the dishes we liked were REALLY good. I would come back!

    Chicken 69 - a must order!

This Pakistani/Indian fusion spot with the viral chicken 69 bites glazed in a perfectly umami and spicy sauce; and refreshingly flavorful Falooda shakes with bold rose, pistachio and jellies is such a gem! The fire fries are also a must order as it features perfectly crispy potato topped with chili seasons. I was even more amazed when the bill came out to less than $30 per person! PLEASE give out actual menus not just this QR mess!!

I'll start off my review with a suggestion/plea: PLEASE hand out physical menus or update the QR menu to be less difficult to look through. The text is way too big causing me to have to constantly scroll to look at all the options. Ok so the actual review... I thought the food was good, and definitely felt more authentic than most places. Great flavors and actual spice throughout the dishes. The chicken dishes are bone-in which I'm not a fan of, and the beef was sooooo fatty that we ended up only eating like half. The pesto naan was amazing, and the rice was great. The flavors of both chicken and beef dishes were great. Service was not great. So many employees just randomly standing around.. I asked one for help with something and he basically just called over someone else to help. And at one point toward the end of our meal, multiple servers asked if they could take away our food about 4-5 times in the span of 2 minutes. It wasn't busy so not sure what the rush was. This place would be a solid delivery/takeaway option, but it wasn't the greatest dining experience I've had.

Finallyyy tried this place after years of passing by in the neighborhood. We got the pani puri shots, chicken samosas and the tandoori fish. Honestly, everything was delicious. Their tandoori fish definitely was the highlight. It was so flavorful and a good amount of fish. The prices are also very reasonable!

they changed the chicken 69 and it's not nearly as spicy anymore which was quite disappointing, HOWEVER, everything else was still delicious. the curry sauce is very creamy and rich. curry pizza is a bit interesting but also still not bad. the blue and purple tones throughout the restaurant compliment the chandeliers well and create a classy atmosphere. there were gnats but that could be a virtue of the tendy location. overall still filling and good quality.

Great ambiance with Instagram-worthy decor. The food presentation is top-notch, and the service was excellent throughout. The samosa chaat was flavorful, and the ribs, while tender, were a bit too heavy on the BBQ sauce for my taste. The chicken tikka masala was decent, though not a standout. I wasn't too fond of the naan, but overall, the experience was enjoyable. I'd definitely go back!

One of my favorite places to eat in the city. Very cute ambience, outstanding customer service, and delicious food with very reasonable pricing. What else can one want. The owner is amazing. He comes to every table himself to ask if everything is ok. Can't wait to come back and try something else in the menu.

Chicken 69 Bites with just enough spice.

This was our first time trying Kinara Fusion Kitchen, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel welcome, and the food absolutely lived up to the hype. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. The fusion flavors were new to us, but everything tasted familiar in the best way, with bold spices and comforting textures. It was one of those meals where you keep saying "try this!" across the table because everything is just that good. We left full, happy, and already talking about what we want to try next time. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different, delicious, and thoughtfully crafted. We'll definitely be back!

Best tasting Indian food I had in a few months. They lived up to the reviews on Yelp which made us choose the place. The tandoori fish was amazing juicy, crispy and tasty. The portion size is big the assorted kebabs platter was great and gosht was the best. Make sure you make a reservation to get seated as it tends to be crowded.

Ever since I tried this place when it first opened up I've been hooked! It's so authentic and full of flavor and one of the rare things about this restaurant is that it's actually spicy! Full of flavors and consistency this place keeps me coming back. Every item on the menu is a must try. Pictured are the items I had most recently but can certainly say all the items on the menu have been perfected for delicious bursts of unique flavors. The place is accommodating for large groups which is so convenient, just book in advance for a smooth experience.

First time visiting San Francisco and this restaurant. Very busy for a Friday night. Our waiter, Rahil P., was so nice and helpful in picking out food. Amazing decor and atmosphere. Very well lit. We ordered the Desi chicken wings, the mixed platter, and fire fries with chicken. The mixed platter included chicken boti, beef boti, tandoori chicken, and lamb chops. Food was amazing. Very flavorful. Kashmiri chai served on Fridays and Saturdays. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting San Francisco.

Chicken 69 Bites and Chicken samosas

This place is one of my top favorite Indian restaurants!! The ambiance is so calming and spacious and the staff are always so accommodating and kind. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here if i'm being honest, but tonight we got the chicken 69 bites, the chicken samosas, the curry MVP pizza, the chicken tikka masala, and the garlic naan. The chicken 69 is always a hit!! It's super spice and very flavorful. As someone who loves spice, I think Kinara perfected the spice level on this chicken!! The chicken samosas were extremely flaky and flavorful. It was my first time trying it so I honestly wasn't expecting them to be as good as they were but they definitely exceeded my expectations. The filling is just ground chicken but it's so flavorful it really doesn't need an additional filling. The curry MVP pizza was amazing. I guess it's most comparable to a tandoori pizza type of vibe but with a better crust and in a reasonable size to where you can order additional item aside from the pizza. The chicken tikka masala with the garlic naan is probably my favorite combo here. The curry is packed with flavor an chicken is extremely tender, melting in your mouth. The garlic naan and honestly all their naan is so soft and pillowy, I can guarantee you haven't had naan from any other indian restaurant that is this good!! Lastly I got the watermelon falls for my drink, and it was such a refreshing carbonated minty mocktail. If you're looking for a refreshing drink, I recommend it!! For dessert we got the kashmiri chai and the Falooda. The chai was like a milk tea with sugar and pistachios. In my opinion, you can't come here without getting the Kashmiri chai. The Falooda was tasty as well, it was a layered dessert with ice cream and some kind of jelly/noodles. It was very fun to eat and quite tasty, I highly recommend! Overall, if you're thinking about eating here, stop thinking and just go. This is my go to indian spot and I don't even live in the city but can say it's worth driving into the city for.

Pani Puri and Pink Kashmiri chai time!

This is not just a restauran - it is an experience filled with hospitality and the comforting feeling of being with family. Mr. Waqar & Mrs. Rabia are most humble people you will ever meet. From the moment you walk in, they welcome you with such sincerity and affection that you instantly feel at home. Mrs. Rabia has a remarkable way of making every guest feel special. She treats everyone with the same care & love a mother would show her own children. The food is outstanding, with generous portions and authentic flavors that transport you straight back to Pakistan/India. For breakfast lovers, the Halwa Puri with cholay is among the best I have had (available any time of the day, 7 days a week, is a huge bonus. The homemade parathas remind me of my mother's cooking, my absolute favorite & something I crave regularly. Chicken Biryani with Shami Kabab bring back memories of home with every bite. The Chapli Kabab paired with fresh paratha is simply irresistible-I can never get enough of it. The Beef Haleem is rich, authentic, & prepared exactly the way it should be. The Lamb Shank served with biryani rice is another exceptional dish that showcases the quality and authenticity of their cooking. Our first visit was only a month ago & since then we have already returned around 10 times. That alone speaks volumes. If you want delicious food, authentic flavors, generous portions, and hospitality that makes you feel like family, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended.

There was maybe one other customer when we reached and I guess that helped with getting the food quicker. I think , most of their curries / entrees are pre made . They also mentioned that they use frozen naans ( probably the ones sold at Indian stores ) but make the parathas fresh. Which was true. It came out piping hot and it's huge in size. We decided to get 2 different combos , so as to try more options. Got Paneer tikka masala, chana masala, palak paneer and daal makhani. The Daal makhani was not as creamy / buttery as it's supposed to be. All tasted decent , and on the milder side I would say. I feel all of them could have used a little more salt. It's reasonably priced . They also had back patio kind of area, which would be nice on a warm day.

I forgot to mention the spice level for the curry in my DoorDash order, but it turned out that it was a gentle heat and I enjoyed it. The curry was flavorful and I liked that it was on the creamier side. It went so well with the rice. There were about six pieces of chicken, which is enough for me. I know that this curry is one of the more affordable options on that block, so I think the amount was good for the price listed on DoorDash. It's probably a much better deal if you order in person. The garlic naan is huge and one piece can be good for two people... maybe four people if they want a quarter. But I don't think I a quarter is enough lol. I ate the whole thing. Though I love curries with rice, I think I'll just get the naan next time since it's so big. Since I got this to go, I can't comment on the ambiance. My order was placed around 4pm and I got it within 20mins. I'd order from here again to try another entree or biryani.

Went there and there was a parking spot on the block of chutney but was held by an orange cone. We asked the restaurant there if we are allowed to park and they said they know nothing about it and to go ahead. So we moved the cone and parked then some lady took the cone and started mouthing off saying her friend was suppose to park there and she walked the cone to the other side. Then you see her friend come up with her car and idk what they were trying to do. Friend just kept going forward then reversing and repeating every few mins. Thought they were going to start drama with us or key the car once we left so we waited for a bit. Ended up just going into Chutney and sat at the window to keep an eye on the car. Same car was doing the same shenanigans going forward and reversing for some reason. Anyway, that was a long rant that had nothing to do with Chutney. Don't really have anything good to say. Gentleman that sat us down was nice. Gave us our menus and asked us to order at counter when we were ready. We ordered plain and paneer naan, tandoori chicken leg, chicken biryani, seekth kebab, chicken jal frazi, chicken tikki masala, chicken boti and the lamb chops. Best thing was the paneer naan. Cheese pull was insane and very flavorful. Very delightful when fresh hot. Chicken boti and lamb chops were extremely dry and overcooked. The lamb chops also was very salty and I'm usually more prone to saltiness. Chicken Jal Frazi was like a chicken curry with vegetables. This was probably the second best thing and went well with the naan. Chicken Biryani was kind of plain compared to somewhere like Pakwan and portion was pretty small compared to Pakwan. Tandoori leg wasn't as juicy as other places, it was also a bit dry. Seekth kebab was pretty firm but wasn't terrible. Their sauces (the green mint sauce and tamarind chutney) were a bit watery and not as flavorful as other restaurants I've tried. Price wise - they're not terrible. Most items were under $15 and below besides the lamb chops. But for some reason, the same guy that sat us down, ran the register and he charged us $1 more on every single item besides the sodas so we didn't even bother tipping. And when we tried to ask one of the servers for an extra spoon after he served our food, he just kept walking as if he didn't hear us. I won't complain about that too much because maybe he simply just didn't hear us. But don't expect too much service here. Our food took about 30-40 mins to arrive too. Others that sat down after us, got their food first so not sure what's the deal with that. Was worth a try but probably won't come back.

We visited this place back in 2016 or 17 while one of our trips to the city. It was a really cold…read moreday so we decided to eat something indoors and something spicy. Yelped for an Indian place and this showed up at walking distance so we walked upto it. Upon locating, we found it was on a busy street and had nice seating indoors. We went in and were seated promptly as it was around 1:30pm, which is not a busy time usually for lunch. We ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and biryani. Everything was great but we loved tikka masala and naan of all the items. They had a variety of appetizers and desserts but we just had big main course. Service was quick and servers were very attentive. Place was really clean so we enjoyed eating there. Highly recommended if you are in the neighboorhood and looking for a quick bite to eat.
