I love this restaurant. It close to my house and across the street from Cunningham Park so it's nice to go for a walk after eating. I came here Sunday evening with my sister for dinner. We sat outside since the weather was gorgeous. We ordered drinks, appetizers, entree, and dessert. We were hungry! We tried their new larb fries. They were good. All the food is good here. The Bangkok wings are my favorite. A must order. The fried ice cream was delicious and the perfect end to our meal. If you haven't eaten here, I highly recommend. The service is great and the food.

Ate here today for dinner with my parents and cousin for my mom's belated birthday trying this place out for the first time. We definitely start off getting mango salad and fried calamari, then beef drunken noodles, Phuket fried rice and crispy duck and for dessert we had gotten the mango sticky rice. As an overall it had tasted really good and super delicious. The service there was also attentive and quite fast and efficient. We couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :D

We had a great dinner here. The food was delicious and servers were very attentive. The decor is calming, very understated and clean. We started with the deluxe appetizer combo and papaya salad, followed by the green curry with chicken, eggplant with shrimp and pineapple fried rice with pork. All the dishes were so tasty! Will definitely be back.

They had such a cute outside area. I bet it's nice during the spring/summer. I was seated quickly. I ordered the pad see ew with chicken and coconut sticky rice. Both came out pretty quickly. I thought the portion size was okay for the price. I've been to other Thai spots the cost the same that give bigger portions. This place was pretty busy by the time I left. Ample street parking and free after 7pm.

This review is based off multiple visits: Kin'd is one of those places you can count on for solid Thai food. It's affordable, tasty, and consistent. I've gone several times with friends and always leave happy with the overall experience. The menu is also broad enough that you'll find something to scratch your itch. Highlights: * Really enjoy the Iced Thai tea * Service is quick * Casual vibe, great for groups and sharing dishes Lowlights: * Nothing in particular. Some food options may taste "okay"

Unfortunately dropping my rating a bit here, which is quite sad after all the years that I've frequented Kin'd. I'm not sure when it changed, but the flavors have gotten quite toned down since they opened years ago. It seems as if their bold & punchy Thai flavors been modified a bit. My fiance & I used to sweat from the medium spicy here, but now its very tolerable. Even the spicy is not as spicy as it used to be. The duck noodle soup is also not as herbal-y and strong as it used to be. That being said, the food here is still good. I still enjoy the flavors of the drunken noodles & tom yum soup here - just need to be mindful in ordering the next spice level up. Prices have gone up in the past few years, but are still pretty comparable to other thai places. Service used to be super hospitable and they would check in often. Not sure if it was an off day, but we were seated in a corner near the window & never really had anyone come by to even refill our water glasses. There is also the most annoying light flicker in the back area. I still have a soft spot for Kin'd and still do enjoy their food; just a bit saddened by the changes over the years.

Plenty of residential street parking and metered parking. It is a decently sized space, so can go solo or in a large group. They were cutely decorated and put out lights in the evening. They also get a lot of takeout orders. The Pad See Ew with Vegetarian Duck has a strong soy sauce flavor. The vegetarian duck and Chinese broccoli were cooked well. My entree came out very quick.. like within 15 minutes. It was piping hot. The You Are Mine mocktail (seasonal special) is a mix of pineapple, yuzu, lime and unsweetened green tea. It is very yuzu forward with a hint of the pineapple and lime in the background. They have a variety of other drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Overall, a solid Thai spot to hit, especially for their lunch specials. The portions for the lunch special is the same as the dinner portion, and you get a small appetizer as well!

Ive been coming here for years and just realized I never left a review. Service and food is always excellent. Amy the owner is also very welcoming. They have a variety of options and a lunch special if your able to come during those times.

The food is great here! The minced chicken basil was flavorful and the pad thai is delish. Mango sticky rice was also one of the best ones I've had. We ordered the shrimp rolls for appetizers and the crispiness and the sweet and savory sauce paired well together. The waiters were so attentive to our table and super kind. They were quick to refill our water and remove empty plates. The ambiance is nice and I would recommend coming here for smaller parties like 2-4 friends or a date.

I came here for lunch and enjoyed the food and drink. The lunch special includes an appetizer which I love. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely come back here for dinner!

Ate at Kin'd while visiting my son-in-law, who suggested it knowing how much I love Thai food. He mentioned he's been there many times with my daughter, so we knew it would be good--and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The staff was very friendly and informative, which made the experience even better. Wasn't too loud. The prices were also very affordable, especially for NYC. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. Highly recommended for Thai food lovers!

One of my top Thai spots - Delicious food, quick service, and enjoyed the overall vibes of Kin'd! The Duck Roll really caught my eye when we looked up Kin'd - it's a unique appetizer in itself and pretty filling. The roti wrap is flaky and the Duck and fillings inside are savory. I absolutely loved the Papaya Salad and how every ingredient was crunchy and paired well together. The Pad Thai had thinner noodles than previous Pad Thai's I've had but nonetheless still delicious, leaning more on the sweet side. The portions were generous and we packed leftovers. I'd love to come again to try their cocktails, which seemed to be ordered by a lot of tables, and their branzino menu.

The neighborhood is quite diverse with the types of stores and cuisines for the restaurants in the area so I was not sure if it would be authentic Thai food or not. The restaurant is located on a big street where several bus lines run, but it is very easy to find parking in the residential areas nearby. I came on a Tuesday evening and was able to find free parking directly in front after 7 pm. The location is Oakland Gardens which is a perfect in between Fresh Meadows and Bayside area. My friend and I decided to come here before our movie at AMC theatres. The place is quite small and they do accept reservations so I highly recommend making one. Amongst the 6 of us, we shared 4 appetizers and we each got our own entrees. It was the perfect amount of food. For appetizers, we ordered the zaab Chicken wings (4 pieces), chicken skewers (4 sticks), curry puff (3 pieces), and the fried calamari. The zaab Chicken wings are a perfect Thai Chile lime dried rub that is so delicious! I was reluctant to order the chicken skewers, but my friend really wanted to try. I was shocked! It was on par with my favorite chicken Satay from my favorite Malay restaurant. Perfectly tender with the perfect peanut dipping sauce. The curry puff is very good as well with a perfect amount of curry spice and potatoes filling. The fried calamari was decent - no complaints! As for entrees, we all ordered something a bit different. I was in between 4 different entrees and I'm glad my friends ended up ordering some of it so I got to try. The pad Thai, pad see ew, and crab fried rice are standard with full flavors. The basil fried rice was very smokey and good. The tom yum Noodle Soup is also very flavorful with lots of char Siew type of meat and ramen type noodle. Lastly, we were all pretty stuffed but we wanted to try the mango sticky rice so we shared amongst the 6 of us. It is a seasonal item (usually summer) and the rice comes in a beautiful butterfly pea purple-blue color. The mangoes are perfectly riped with a rice crunch and coconut drizzle. It was so good! And forgot to mention - we did order the Thai iced tea and it met my expectations (especially when I asked for less milk!) The Thai iced coffee has an interesting chocolatey after taste to it. My friends liked that it was strong. Would definitely be back if I'm craving some Thai Food!

The beef cuts weren't that great but it was nice to be able to try everything. Not that many pre-marinated (Thai) options. The premade sauces were all on the sweet side. The chicken broth surrounding the grill was a bit plain to taste and did not get very hot (seemed like one temperature setting for both). Veggie options were limited to 10ish items. The hot food area was actually pretty good consisting of fried egg, marinated ground chicken, tom yum, thai chicken wings, etc. For dessert, there was a variety of cake (cheese cake, chocolate, mango, tiramisu), Hersey's ice cream, shaved ice, sliced fruit, and grass jelly. Everything was solid. If there was an option to add-on higher quality meats for a premium, I'd consider that as well. Happy to try this place again.
