Horrible customer service. Chuan or who ever refused my take out order because the last time I order from them I complained to Grubhub about receiving the wrong food and low quality food. They told me the cancelled my order because they do not want to deal with me, because I complained last time. And the man I spoke with on the phone said his name was chuan was extremely rude saying extremely messed up stuff. DO NOT EVER EAT HERE. My food was horrible. read more

It's BG so of course we don't have a great Chinese restaurant but king buffet has pretty good food for take out and its pretty inexpensive. I have never eaten at the restaurant before so I cant rate them on that but when Eat Street sends me $5 off coupons how can I not order from there?? Lo mein is delicious and crab wontons are crispy so I cant complain! Also as a side not if you're looking for a Chinese restaurant to sit and eat at go to Old Town because even though the food isn't something to rave about, you know its a lot more fresh since they have more traffic of people through there. read more

My wife and I used to order from here all the time because the proportions were very generous for the price. But the quality of their food has drastically fallen. I went in for pickup one time and saw them scoop our order from the buffet that has more than likely been sitting there all day; that really turned me off from the place. A few times we ordered sesame chicken and it tasted absolutely nothing like sesame sauce. It was completely disgusting. Delivery is always on time or early which was a huge plus, which is what I'll give them my one star for. There are better options in the area than this place. read more

We ordered delivery tonight, cashew chicken the sauce was all soy sauce nothing but carrots and barely warm couldn't eat it, they have no BBQ ribs just boneless,the pieces burnt and hard as a rock ,chop suey tasted funny the white rice was good. As you read other reviews you will see the Buffett is pretty bad. I tried it twice and I agree. But on a holiday when most restaurants were closed, they were open and delivered. My son said his Beef and Broccoli was better than Bamboo Gardens and I thought the Steamed Dumplings were great. They give you 12, Bamboo Garden gives you 7 and their wontons are thick and gummy. Portion sizes are generous enough for 2 meals. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was their Sesame Chicken/Sesame Beef. It wasn't crispy. Their BBQ Spare Ribs are very good as was their Sweet and Sour Pork. The shrimp in their Shrimp in Lobster Sauce are pretty big and tasty. Delivery is so fast I have to give it a minute to cool off. If you want a Chines Buffet go to Old Town Buffet in Front of the Woodland Mall. For Delivery go for King Buffet. read more

I wish there was worse than a one-star rating. This is one of worst restaurants I've ever been in. The staff isn't dressed professionally at all. You don't have to worry about what to pick from the buffet because there isn't much there. If they have food at all. People just picked all the meat out of every dish. Decent enough food for 7.44 (with a water). Not a very large variety like some other buffets. Some of the normals, General Tso's for example, tasted nothing like it normally does. Most of the food was warm enough. I tested the desserts, I wouldn't recommend anything other than the jello. Overall it was a decent meal. read more

I have been ordering King Buffet for about 6 months now since moving to BG. Very good food and even though it says you can wait about an hour to an hour and a half, the wait time is on average about 20-30 minutes. Sweet and Sour Chicken and Sesame Chicken have been very good and the portion sizes for the large are very good. This is my go-to Chinese restaurant in BG. read more

Very limited selection (they had pop tarts in one of the steam trays...still in the wrappers). Food was dry and lukewarm. Some of the soups had a thin film on them. Atmosphere was strange: no customers, no music, the staff was literally yelling at each other, tables that hadn't been bussed for a considerable time. Second time there. Walk in and wait a min for someone to notice you at the podium. Lady in sweatpants quickly seats you. Not a person in the restaurant. No music plays as their child plays in the corner. Buffet is small and dried out. You can tell they don't get many customers. Sat down and awkwardly ate as I felt the lady watching me from across the room. Went to get dessert but the ice cream was half melted. You could tell by the body language of the lady that she knew I wasn't satisfied with the food. She put my check down after my first plate of food which to me was a bit insulting. Took the check to the counter where the lady was nowhere to be seen. After a min she comes out from laying in on one of the booths and thanks me. This was the same experience I had the first time I went with a group of friends. No music, bad service, dried food, and just an awkward environment to eat in. Would not recommend. read more

This was one of the worst places we have ever been. We sat down for the buffet, only to find that there were two trays with anything In them (and they were running low) then, our cokes were bad. Two men came In looked around and then walked out, If only we had done the same. I'd rather eat out of a dumpster than go back there. How ever they are still In business Is beyond me. This by far is my favorite asian buffet. Old town by the mall is has no flavor and their american food is so dried out and nasty. I used to like Hunan Buffet by the title place until a few years ago was eating there and seen cockroach climbing on wall and waiter just knocked it off the wall with towel and it scurried away. King buffet is very tasty and great priced. If you go and the food is not fresh because they are not busy they are more than happy to make fresh food whatever you want. LOVE THIS PLACE read more
