Arrived for lunch on Sunday with a party of seven. The resturant was very busy and we waited approx. ten minutes for a table. The buffet is very extensive. They had normal Chinese Buffet items, Sushi, deserts, ice cream, and a cook to order Mongolian Grill. Everything I had was delicious and fresh, and no one in my party had any complaints. I always come here when I visit Lafayette from Denham Springs for Dr's appointments for lunch on the way back. Food is fresh, hot, and decent selection. The service is great and the place is clean. I never have to ask for refills! Lunch is about $10, which isn't bad at all. The sushi is pretty good too. Some days are hit and miss when they restock it though and I mostly eat the sushi so that can be annoying. I do love that they offer nigiri sushi during lunch hours! Definitely consider this for lunch if you got a craving for this type of food. read more

First visit. Upon noon arrival, good selection of sushi nigiri and Maki. But not maintained. 1/4 the choices 30 minutes later. Wide on dish selections, but low on flavor. Huge selection and a good mix to chose from. Every thing was fresh. They had several staff that were always checking and cleaning up the buffet. We went right at 5:00 and the place was packed. Staff was friendly and never had to ask for anything. This will be our new go to buffet. read more

This place is absolutely amazing! The food has always been hot and fresh. They have a great selection of dishes to choose from. Very clean and well prepared food items. Sushi is very fresh and selection is good for the price. Love the fact they have nigiri options even for lunch. The Mongolian Grille selections are amazing. This is hands down one of the best buffets I've ever eaten at in the country much less finding here in Lafayette. By far the best asian themed buffet that I've ever eaten at! Great selection of food, good service, and a comfortable setting. All of the food was hot when I went. And all of the food tasted wonderful! Not a fan of their "fried fish" that tasted of citrus, but that's just a personal preference. Everything else was delightful. Decided to try this with the family. It had a few good reviews here, so I thought I'd give it a try. The entry decor was nice, and everything was clean. The buffet is really big, but nothing really stands out to be the hero. There was a chocolate fountain that I was excited to try with strawberries for dessert, but there were no strawberries and nothing else seemed very appealing. There was also a soft serve ice cream machine with cones. I may have given 3 stars, but something I ate gave me food poisoning. I know it can happen anywhere - just one bad piece of seafood. I was SUPER excited to see this buffet open up in such a convenient area. I know it's very early to write a review, and I have only gone once, but the food was great! It's one of the biggest buffets I have seen in Lafayette AND it has a huge Mongolian grill. All of the veggies were fresh and the sushi was very impressive for a buffet. Nothing tasted fishy. The place was very clean and the staff was friendly. The only reason I have it 4 of 5 is because the food wasn't super hot, but I know it's a buffet and most don't have everything steaming constantly. The pricing was reasonable for the selection that they offered and they have a GREAT salad bar. I would recommend everyone to go at least once! read more

I'm extremely picky about my food. I don't think there's a decent buffet in Lafayette, but Lotus is almost tolerable. I decided to try this place, and I'm glad that I did. Decent selection of your traditional Chinese buffet foods, sushi, desserts. The wait staff were zooming by, constantly clearing plates and glasses, refills were quickly served. Good food! Wide variety. I had the California sushi rolls they were good. Also liked the egg drop soup. Tried several other items all of which were pretty good. I didn't like the stuffed crab shell however the boiled crab was good. Liked the chocolate fountain for dessert. read more

Excellent food choices. Freshly made. You can see it is still relatively new as the carpets and interior still look nicer compared to other buffet style restaurants in the area, where you can see the menu in the carpets. My family and I visited this restaurant Monday evening. The food selection was amazing, many things to choose from. All of the food was fresh! The service was excellent all around. We were seated quickly in the party room and asked them to watch the game on the television. I was handed the remote so that we could select the channel. The cost for a Family of six was around 89 bucks, the child rate is for ages 10 and under. We will definitely be back! read more

My new favorite in town! The food was piping hot and seasoned well. What an amazing array of oriental food....that being said, there was NOTHING that I tried that I did not like. It was all wonderful. The restaurant was clean and service was attentive. Even though we were there right at noon on a weekday and the restaurant was packed ( a LOT of working guys - that's always a good sign that the food is great), we were seated right away.
