Impressive selection on a late weekday evening. Good quality food and worth the trip. The service and staff seem generally friendly, although they just take you to your seat. The ambiance is mostly quiet and lively around the food of course... Great place to go if you like Asian food and you can't decide what you want specifically, or if you have no idea what you want you'll find something! Reasonably priced and no regrets!

Nice large size buffet with multiple different food offering. They had sushi stations and mangolian barbeque. Overall selection of food was good, service was good. I recommend this place for anyone who is hungry and looking for buffet place. It was $23 including tip so it was a good price for lunch. The ambiance is nothing to mention, just regular buffet place with the large number of tables and chairs.

King Buffet is definitely our go to place to eat as a family. Especially with having a little one that is always unpredictable in terms of what he wants to eat. Kids below 3 or 4 eat for free btw. This location is always consistent with the way their food tastes as well. On top of this place being a buffet, they also have a sushi/rolls area for you to choose from as well as a Mongolian bbq area where you choose what meat, vegetables, noodles and toppings you want and they cook it in front of you. They have a lot of different kinds of food to choose from, from fried food (chicken, shrimp, meat) to the traditional Chinese entrees such as sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, mushroom to seafood such as crawfish, fried shrimp, lobster and fish skillets. To top it off, they have soup such as hot and sour, egg drop and wonton soup. There is definitely a lot of food to choose from. What I usually get is ribs, fried chicken, fried cheese wonton, and their California roll. When I do want some beef, I get beef from the Mongolian bbq place and tell the cook to cook it medium well, which they usually follow, if not, sometimes the cook doesn't understand any English lol. Service here is always good, the waiter and waitresses are always attentive in terms of them picking up your used plates to giving you a drink refill. The desert section is awesome too. They have ice cream cones that will serve you soft serve chocolate and vanilla, to vanilla/chocolate ice cream that's already in a to go cup ready to go. And they have puddings such as tapioca pudding, chocolate pudding and banana cream pudding. This place never disappointed us and is the best bang for your buck in terms of food. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting

My two former co-workers and I decided to come here since I told him I would take him out for his birthday, which was long overdue. Parking: The parking is big and adjacent to other local businesses. Food: The Chinese noodles, beef broccoli, and fried rice were surprisingly good. The fish and cooked oysters were not so good. Service: They ask you if you would like anything to drink and any refills. They do this because unlike most buffets, that have a soda dispenser or fountain, they do not. They have to get it for you, so they can charge you one each one. Ambiance: The ambiance is nice, and decent, better than most buffets I have been to. Price: I was confused about the price because they have a sign posted saying lunch is $13, and dinner is $17. However, when I asked to confirm the prices, she told me lunch was $17 per person. The total bill for my former co-worker and I, was $40 I believe, maybe a few dollars more. Overall, I am not sure I am going to come back. I felt like I was being rushed, and kicked out, which that has never happened to me before. We arrived at 11:00 AM and were given the bill as I was eating, sometime before 12:00 PM. The food is decent, but because of them handing me the bill when I was eating and there less for an hour, I mostly likely may not be coming back.

They are a good place to come eat with the family for a buffet. They have a lot of seafood and some grilled chicken and fries also. They have a dessert section, but it's never really good in my opinion. They have soft serve ice cream. Overall my family likes coming here and we all enjoy it.

Food was not great and not a lot of options. Service was not good. And the ambiance gave the feel of a repurposed casino.

I used to be a big fan of Ika. I've brought countless friends here, I've raved about this place…read more Now I'm here to correct that mistake. The food quality has been slipping for months. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. That ends now. Today, we came as a group of five to celebrate my friend. What should have been a memorable evening became one of the most infuriating dining experiences I've had in years. After we sat down, our waitress was nowhere to be seen for 10-15 minutes. Even when we saw her, we flagged her down 3-4 times and were still ignored. I had to physically get up and chase someone down, and still waited another 5 minutes for someone to take our order. There were only 3 tables in the restaurant. The waitress never once asked me or my friend's mom for our drink order- completely skipped over us. And when drinks did come out, she brought the wrong one to my friend's mom. When we asked for water refills. She filled two glasses out of five and walked off, when my glass was near empty. She then dropped a plate on our table. Moments later, I reached for the food and she snatched it back saying it was for another table. Rude doesn't begin to cover it. We asked for an extra spoon, a completely normal request, and it was met with a dirty look, as if we had asked for something outrageous. When I asked for extra ginger, she placed it at the farthest corner of the table. Whether intentional or not, it felt extremely careless and rude. We ordered uni nigiri, which is not a cheap order. It arrived without seaweed. I've ordered uni nigiri many times here, and it's always come with seaweed. When I flagged it, they didn't remake it, just shoved the seaweed under the rice. An insult to a $20+ piece of nigiri. Throughout all of this, this waitress had a visible attitude toward every reasonable request. What made it worse is that I'm Asian myself, and it was clear she was specifically singling out me and my friend's mom above everyone else at the table. The dismissiveness, the hostility, the microaggressions felt pointed and deliberate. I can only call it what it is: racism and sexism. No one should have to feel targeted at a restaurant they've loyally supported for years. Ika has lost a longtime champion. I will be actively discouraging everyone I know from setting foot in this place. Save your money, your time, and your celebration, and go literally anywhere else. ***Update*** I'd like to clarify a few things since the facts were misrepresented by your response. Funny you bring up my arrival time as if that somehow discredits me. I let my group know I would be a few minutes late, and it was not even close to being an hour. What matters is that after I sat down, our entire group waited 10-15 minutes waving down staff and being repeatedly ignored. I then got up and spoke to a different staff member who was filling ginger by the bar, not even our assigned waitress, and she had to find someone else to help us. That is not "flagging rudely", that is a group of paying customers desperately trying to get basic service. Again, there were only three tables including us. You're welcome to review your security footage to verify this. You claim you were watching closely, but if you were running a restaurant, I find it hard to believe you had the bandwidth to monitor our table that carefully. And if you really were watching, you'd know that we tried to flag down a waiter for over 10 minutes. You also never addressed how long the waitress took to take our orders, never asking me for my drink order, bringing my friend's mom the wrong drink, making a disgusted face when we asked for an extra spoon, dropping the wrong dish on our table and rudely snatching it away, and placing the ginger at the farthest end of the table. Funny how none of that made it into your response. Most importantly, you said nothing about your waitress's sexist behavior toward me and my friend's mother. We were singled out, dismissed, and treated with hostility that the rest of our table did not experience. That was the most egregious part of our visit and you chose to completely ignore it. The uni argument is not worth debating. Seaweed in nigiri is a global standard. Doubling down on that is just embarrassing. I even called that evening to provide this feedback directly, and was told the manager was not available and would call me back the next day. That never happened. Instead of having a conversation and being willing to listen, you chose to come onto Yelp and make this a personal attack against me. Our group was only there because of my recommendation. I was your advocate. That ends now, and so does any business I would have ever sent your way. Your response has only confirmed what kind of establishment this is. So as you said best, goodbye!

The sushi was very good, fresh and nicely prepared. The pan-fried gyoza were excellent too, crispy on the bottom and packed with flavor. They have a cute little bar area with a nice selection of specialty drinks and wines, plus plenty of beer choices overall (though not a big selection on tap). What really stood out was the customer service. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming even though I was the only customer there. It made the whole experience feel personal and relaxing. The location is super convenient too, right next door to the Tru Hotel by Hilton, perfect if you're staying in the area and don't feel like going far. The only tiny thing I'd change is asking for one of my rolls without sesame seeds next time. They were a little heavy-handed with them and it gave the rice a slightly odd, almost stale texture (I could tell the rice itself was fresh, it was just the seeds). Minor detail, but now I know. Overall, a really solid spot. If I'm ever back in the neighborhood I'll definitely return, especially knowing the service and food are this good even on a quiet night. Keep it up, Soy Sushi!

The restaurant has a fun, welcoming atmosphere with a lively energy, yet it's still comfortable enough to enjoy a relaxed meal. The service was excellent--our server was friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations when we couldn't decide what to order. We started with the pan-fried gyoza, which had a perfectly crisp sear and came with a delicious spicy ginger dipping sauce. It was a unique sauce that paired wonderfully with every bite. We we knew we wanted one of our usuals the Playboy roll but then asked for a recommendation our server recommended the Kamikaze roll, and we're so glad we took her advice. Both rolls were beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. The Kamikaze was served with a cilantro-lime sauce that added a bright, refreshing finish and really made the roll stand out. The spicy edamame was another standout. I'm not exactly sure what was in the sauce, but it had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Fair warning, though--when they say spicy, they mean it! It definitely brought the heat, but the flavor was so good we couldn't stop eating it. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the overall quality of the meal made it feel like a great value. Between the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food, Fat Fish earned a spot on our list of places to return to. We already know we'll be ordering that Kamikaze roll again on our next visit.
