I love Kind Eggroll! They have multiple locations in the San Jose area. In addition to eggrolls they offer hot food like broccoli beef, sweet and sour pork, orange chicken, pork buns etc. My favorite is their pork eggroll which is served piping hot and fresh! Mmmm! read more

This chain will always be an all time favorite hands down! This location is just as good, if not better than the others. It's smaller, but doesn't seem to be as crowded as the rest. They offer dim sum, Chinese food at their steam table and of course the egg rolls and fried sui mai. The egg roll and fried sui mai have stayed consistently good in any of their locations. I can easily eat them by the handful without any problems, especially with their house sauce. Their prices have gone up through the years, but it's still so worth it. You can't out a price on perfection. They are generous with their steam table options and you will have leftovers when you order a combination plate. I've had practically all of their Chinese dishes and my faves are still the mushroom chicken and pork fried rice. Their dim sum is also great, especially their steamed sui mai. They're HUGE and very filling. I can easily inhale one order of four, but it does get pretty pricey after a while. But with all their dishes, it's totally worth it. read more

Here are some thoughts though. Kinda pricey even for this type of fast food restaurant. They were selling some dim sum items for like a dollar a piece. My first impression when I came in was that the place was clean and that the food looked freshly made. This is a great location. It's clean, spotless, service is quick and very responsive. The food behind the glass is neatly fixed and is cooked fresh. I can tell presentation is important here which is a plus. Their menu is lit up and easy to read. They also have plenty of seating and a bathroom! It's comfortable to dine in; not like the original location on Lundy. King Eggroll has always dominated the catering game with their fresh and crunchy fried chicken, chow main, fried rice, and egg rolls. I do recommend trying their siu mai and crab Rangoon. I came here during my lunch break and got the their Vietnamese sandwich. It was so good! Their bread was soft and slightly crispy which was the best part of the sandwhich! So happy to live as close as I do to a King Eggroll (Express)! King Eggroll makes my favorite eggrolls, so I am thrilled that I can stop in at this one so conveniently. Compared to the other King Eggrolls, it's the easiest one to get to, has the best parking lot, and it takes ApplePay (to be fair, I haven't been to the other King Eggrolls in a while so I don't know if they take ApplePay now). As far as Chinese fast food goes, it hits the spot! The portions are huge, so when you order a combo meal, there's enough to last for at LEAST 2 meals (for me, at least). My go-to items are sweet & sour chicken, broccoli & beef, chow mein, & pork egg rolls, none of which have ever failed me here. We spent almost $50 and my daughter ask for a fortune cookie and he told me we usually don't give out free cookies which made no sense to me.
