As always, they didn't disappoint! The portions are incredibly generous, even for a kiddie size, and the staff works quickly and efficiently. The line was very long tonight, and both the main parking lot and side parking were completely full, but the line moved fast, so the wait wasn't bad at all. The only downsides are that they only accept cash and parking can be difficult during busy times, especially weekends. They could definitely use more parking spaces. That said, many people parked across the street and simply walked over. If you're looking for delicious ice cream, great value, and generous servings, Lix is absolutely worth the trip!

If I could describe Moo's in only two words, they would be: quality control. Funnily enough, I rarely go here. In fact, I haven't had the Peanut Butter Cup ice cream in YEARS! I had nearly forgotten how smooth and creamy their ice cream is. The way they can make vanilla ice cream also taste peanut buttery is a feat familiar only to magicians and wizards. In other words, their stuff is just THAT good! Ultimately, I'm glad wifey talked me into coming back here on a whim. It's just that I'm hardly ever in the mood for dessert of any kind. But every once in a while....I get a sweet tooth for something with peanut butter in it. And now that my taste buds have been reminded of the elegance this ice cream effortlessly carries, I think I can manage to find an excuse to come here slightly more often. Only problem is they're mainly open during the warmer months. But....I totally get why. It's just a shame I failed to take a pic of the ice cream, since I was too lost in the abyss of ecstasy that was my sweet treat. Besides, I didn't want it to melt. Ah, well. Might remember next time. One last caveat: they don't really have their own parking lot. So, you just kinda....pull into one of the adjacent lots on either side of the place and hope you find a spot. Findeisen's has good variety of hard ice cream flavors (over 30 flavors) including sugar free flavors, frozen yogurt and soft serve (chocolate, vanilla, twist). My favorite flavors are the Frozen Pudding, Wild Blueberry, and Strawberry Cheesecake. The ice cream is creamy and refreshing and the prices are reasonable for the quality. The hard ice cream is offered in one to four scoops ($2.75-$4.70 tax included) and in pints & quarts. The soft serve is offered in small, medium, and large ($2.25-$3.45 tax included) and in pints & quarts. They also serve Richie's Slushes, sundaes, banana splits, The Whirl (soft serve blended with candy), shakes, frappes, freezes, floats, malts, and ice cream sodas. Order from the outside takeout windows and there's picnic table seating available next to the building. Overall, a great place for ice cream and it's only 2-3 minutes down the road from the Londonderry Flea Market.

Black Rasberry is exceptionally difficult to get right--too much rasberry, you have cough syrup. Cookie dough less so, but if you over-sugar your dough then you're dunced and liable to get a cavity to boot. Our girl came right up. We asked for one scoop each and got a veritable pound of ice cream in each cup. Live Free or Die portioning, God Bless New Hampshire! Damn the calories, full speed ahead! I'm from the eastern part of the state and only go there on holiday; Merrimack is forty five friggen minutes away. See, if you're familiar with their Derry location, then you'll understand how annoying their parking situation is. I mean, it's practically non-existent, par from the 5 or 6 tiny little spots inconveniently situated a mere two feet from an otherwise busy street with active traffic. So basically if you park nose-in, have fun trying to back out safely without inexorably causing an unprecedented collision. Suffice to say...that isn't the case here in Salem. I may start coming here from now on if I'm driving from home. Because the ice cream quality is basically the same, 'cept I don't have to dodge cars whilst parking just to acquire the tastiest of ice creams. Oh, and I thought I should mention they DO accept Apple/Google Pay and credit cards now. Or rather....they probably have for some time now. I read an earlier review that mentioned them only accepting cash and that they had an interior ATM on the premises. Never found that ATM though. But it didn't matter.
