I contacted this company about a month ago about wrapping a rear logo and bottom part of the rear bumper in gloss black on my 2018 Infiniti Q50. I texted them pictures of my car to illustrate what I wanted. After going back and forth a few times we set up a date and I paid the 50% down to book the appointment. The next day I got a text that said they were booked and needed to reschedule the appointment. Needless to say I was upset because the day we had booked was the only week day I had availability because I happened to be working from home that day. I asked for my money back and was in the midst of typing a 1-star review when the manager, Magno, called me to apologize for the issue. He basically talked me off the ledge and explained that he was sorry but he had a lot of fleet work in the schedule, (when I was there I saw that they do vehicles for Chick-Fil-A and Panera), and due to the intricacy of the work I needed he wanted to be able to spend a lot of time with the car. So I told him I could drop the car off to him in the morning and he could have it all day. Magno said that would work. So I dropped the car off and picked it up at the end of the day and I've gotta say I was really impressed with the results. I had, had another tint/wrap place in Gilroy try to do the same work and the wrap looked so bad that I had them take it off. The cuts around the edges were so jagged that it looked like whomever had done the wrap was having a seizure. Not so with King of Wraps. The cuts are all very clean and precise. There are some spots around the "INFINITI" letters where if you're standing close you can see some chrome, but since these had to be cut by hand I think they did a fantastic job. With the name King of Wraps, you'd better put out some outstanding work, and I am happy to say this place does. KOW was a bit more than the other place I had previously gone to, ($280 vs. $200), but you certainly get what you pay for in this instance. Magno really seems to care about customer service, helping to calm my fears and explain his process. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone else to KOW for any wrapping needs. read more

I went to the dealership and was charged an extra $1,800 to replace the sensors. Then it rained, and I realized they hadn't sealed the antenna on the roof and the water leaking in damaged my navigation system which is an additional $1,200. When I reached out to King of Wraps, they stopped taking my calls. I just wanted to get a comped clear coat to protect the wrap for my troubles. Now my wrap is getting scratched up with no protection. and I basically paid twice the amount of the $4,000 wrap just to fix the mistakes that were made. These guys are a joke. I had a simple job of covering an RV with a existing wrap. Magnus and his wife received me at their shop, went over the vehicle and said they'll get back to me. I called over a month and never heard back from them. COVID hit, i put the project on hold until now and when I called back I was told that Magnus had moved on and the new guy Rob is "on the job." He asked me to email him and says he'll return to me right away because that's how he is. I emailed on Friday, nothing. Called on Wednesday and was told that I had to pay a deposit to talk to the graphics and that without it he's got other paying customers to manage. I recently called to inquire about vinyl wrapping my motorcycle fairings. I wanted to bring in the fairings off of my 2013 CBR600RR to be wrapped gloss black. After explaining the service I would like to have performed, the woman I was speaking with told me that I would be looking at a price range of $1800-$2000 for wrapping the fairings with a basic gloss black vinyl, and that would only include labor no materials. I was shocked by this astronomical quote and made sure to restate that I would be bringing the fairings in off of the bike so there would be no labor needed to remove and install the fairings, but the quote remained the same. At this point in the phone call I was thinking either they don't like wrapping motorcycle fairings so they were trying to push me away with a ridiculous price (I could understand that), or the lady had moved the decimal point on the price quote one place too far to the right. Regardless, the price quote given was approximately seven times more than the closest wrapping competitor, which frankly doesn't seem rational. I could not discourage motorcycle owners enough who want vinyl wrapping done on their bike to give their business to king of wraps. They clearly don't want the business of motorcycle owners given the facts. They either don't understand basic economic theory or think extremely highly of their work to the tune of seven times comparable services. read more

I had my SUV wrapped at this place. First they started to apply the wrong color wrap if it wasn't that I showed up to check on it they would've wrapped the whole thing. I had them change the color and I was satisfied. Two years later the plastic started to sunburn and looking poorly, I contacted king of wraps left a message but no reply, I stopped by there to show them the problem they took pictures and said the owner wasn't there. I keep calling and calling stopping by again and no response from anyone. We removed the wrap and it peeled some paint and where it was burned in it ruined my paint. Bait and switch beyond belief. The quote was $250-300 for a plain black roof wrap with $50-75 more to take it down to the lower window line. So ~$300 to $350. All very clear from the beginning, with 3 calls to verify. Just before I started taking the roof rack off, it turns out "you're looking at $1,200." Huh? The front A pillars are already black, leaving the B and C pillars to wrap, about 2 sq ft extra. So for ~10% more wrapping, instead of $75 max (as quoted) now it is 4 TIMES the price? I asked them if they just were too busy, as this made no sense at any level. "Just our pricing." From other reviewers with similar experiences, it would seem that for pricing quotes they've gone from bad to absurd. More disturbing was how cheerful and routine this all was. "Please, let me know if there's anything else I can help you with." For King of Wraps, fraudulent misdirection would appear to be standard business practice. read more

Was very impressed with the quality and turn around time of mine and my fathers motorcycle fairings. We had them do half our fairings off of my 07 Yamaha R6 & the black pieces on his 2010 BMW RRS1000 We dropped off our fairings the day before we were leaving the state for a road trip on our sports bikes, and they were able to wrap the pieces we gave them in time to leave. The vinyl carbon fiber turned out great. My riding buddies were stunned when they found out that the vinyl wasn't real carbon fiber, after I compared it to the real carbon fiber i already had on the bike. Great work, I will be sending my friends here and coming back here for any vinyl work needed in the future Maintenance: Watch out on cleaning, any products with wax in it will turn the vinyl white. read more

King of Wraps did a great job on my 2018 Raptor. I had the front skid plate wrapped in satin black, the B-Pillars wrapped in satin black, and the tow hooks wrapped in red. All surfaces they had to wrap were intricate and complex. The quoting process was easy over the phone, and they spent all day on this to make sure it was done properly. I am writing in the overall start to finish rally stripes in my vehicle. I purchased a brand new 2018 Dodge Charger ScatPack on 10/27 and stopped by King of Wraps on 10/29. I spoke to a very nice guy up at the front showing him the design of carbon fiber stripes I was interested in. He carefully explained the options and I then scheduled a date for 11/7 I made a $400 deposit and informed him I would be dropping the car off on the 6th due to me having to be in classes the following day and could not make it in at the opening drop off time. Come Monday 11/6 at approximately 1 pm I drop my car off and spoke to two gentlemen in the car express the idea I had and they assured me I was in good hands. I received a phone call on 11/7 at about 12:45 stating my car should be done at about 2 pm. I ended up arriving at the location at about 2:40. I was shown the car in the garage and was in awe upon the appearance of how theses guys made my car look. I paid the remaining balance and thanked everyone for there hard work. Bait-and-switch tactics promised One price then given another . Cannot speak to the quality of their work but I can speak to their customer service tactics and bad business practices. Called last week spoke to an INSTALLER named Mario. explained to Mario exactly what I wanted done to my vehicle had Mario pull up my vehicle on Google so we could go over the specifics of the vehicle together.. Year make model roof rack the whole nine yards. while going over the specifics of the car with Mario he asked me if my car had a roof rack I told him that it did and how it was bolted onto the car. Was quoted a price of between 200 and $300 for a basic flat black wrap of my roof. the next day I took my car to Mario only to encounter a "salesperson" someone other than Mario. Who proceeded to tell me that my quote was not going to be honored and as opposed to it being the $200 to $300 price that I was quoted, it was going to be 430 to $500. with a near $100 charge to take off the roof rack which is taking out 10 bolts.. he then attempted to blame Mario saying that maybe Mario misunderstood which car we were discussing. I explained to the salesperson that Mario and I pulled up the car on the internet and went over all of the specifics of the car and the job prior to getting a quote settled. He continued to break down the reason why he had to bump the price up from$200 to a whopping $500 after my initial quote was given. so obviously I left. As stated prior I cannot speak to the quality of their work because for obvious reasons I left without any work being done. But their business practice is extremely Shady. I am both a member and moderator of over a dozen Automotive, off road, vehicle forums. Everything from Cars to motorcycles to dirt bikes even jet skis and ATV's. I will for sure post this same review on all of them to get the word out about the unethical business practices used by KingofWraps.com if you look at my prior reviews I think the lowest I've ever given is three or four stars for any business of any sort on Yelp. One thing I cannot tolerate is Shady business practice. A good old-fashioned bait and switch will always get one star or less from me. read more
