One of the best restaurants in Glendale!! I got the kale salad with grilled salmon, and the salmon was so fresh and juicy and the kale wasn't wilted. The spices and dressing were on point. These people are really rude. An angry old man bothered me and my boyfriend because we parked behind the restaurant, and rudely asked if we were going to eat or not so we can leave which was rude all we did was talk for a minute before going in. This place is a GEM. Their produce is soooo fresh and tasty and their customer service is A+. I don't eat gluten, dairy, soy or eggs and the chef comes out to talk to me every time I order to make sure what I order is safe for me to eat. The very friendly cashier (who remembered me from last time) told me they're gonna be on DoorDash pretty soon which is good news for all the DoorDash lovers out there. Tried it in our quest for crispy chicken sandwiches around LA. Called earlier to tell them their website was down when I was trying to find info about their food, etc. They referred me to shrubhub et al to order online. So they have NO working website? WEIRD!!! When we arrived, however, I was surprised to learn it was a Mediterranean place. Ok, fine, I'm on board- I like Med food. And here's where my quest for the perfect chicken sandwich went off the rails. Hubby ordered a filet Philly cheesesteak cuz we're from the east coast & suckers for a good PCS. I ordered the marinated filet tacos (hold the cilantro & verde on the side please & thank you!). It was 9 pm on a Thursday night, place was empty except for one couple looking at a menu. We ordered it to go & it was a pretty short wait for our food. Filet tacos meal cost $13 & came with a side ( I chose the salad). She called it a Greek salad but it was just lettuce & some baby tomatoes. :(. Tiny chunks of filet that were tender & tasted GREAT! Big problem though is that there was hardly any meat & tacos were very small. So poor value for the money!! WAY overpriced! Phillycheese steak sandwich looked delish but my first bite had no meat in it. Naturally I opened it to see how much meat was there - SHOCKINGLY little meat for a $16 sandwich that should Star the MEAT!! I don't know who is portioning this out but no one should charge $16 for what looked like a total of 3 or 4 small (and I mean SMALL) chunks of filet. The sandwich was mostly bread & peppers. Flavor was good - just not enough meat et al. VERY DISAPPOINTING! We will NOT be returning, as they are overpriced & under portioned!!!!! Too bad, so sad - we had high hopes for this place. And I sure won't be back to try any chicken either cuz once I feel cheated, I won't be handing over our hard earned money to them again anytime soon. Lesson learned - don't get take out from any new place. In retrospect, I wish I would have sat to eat & sent the meal back once we saw how little meat was on the hoagie & politely asked for a refund. read more

Came to this place with my mom the other day. We actually lived here in Glendale for years and this restaurant was such a breath of fresh air for us.
