Very good food court Thai restaurant at the new Mid Town Eats. Noodles are tasty. Pad Thai had that nice sear I look for rather than mushy noodles. Prices are average. Will be back to try other items.

Second time going to Midtown Eats and this time decided to try Thai food . I ordered my food at King Thai Cuisine. I ordered their spring rolls which was nice at hot and fresh from the deep fryer although it was basically a vegi roll . Stuff with cabbage and carrots and vermicelli noodles . My main entree was Moo Yang (Thai Grilled Pork ) it was ok the grilled pork was nice and tender their special sauce was on the sweet side . Service was average so far I experienced 2 establishments in the Midtown Eats and they're all busy and need to wait for your food . Hopefully when these new businesses settle down they can find some balance on staffing and food ordering . I heard that one of the vendors ran out of food the week after grand opening Hmmm . Decisions decisions... My first time at Midtown Eats the new food hall on Ke'eaumoku Street in The Park condominium I was told that no many of the countless eateries are open yet after their grand opening ceremony which is true but there are still so many wonderful places to choose from. After much pacing the various eateries it was King Thai Cuisine for me and seems for many others as well and placed my order for Pad see Ew which is with chow funn noodles, egg and broccoli with choice of protein which I chose tofu was yummy. As the vibe was a bit crazy as it was on this Sunday afternoon there no stress in finding seats as there's so many options both inside and outside though the wait was a bit longer as they make each item to order hot and fresh which I don't mind at all just need to plan it if you're on a time constraints. Since it was Sunday and street parking is free I decided to find street parking so that I'm able to enjoy this new experience at my leisure which I did as I'm not totally sure of the parking situation but it does get quite busy where as it's brand new place that many are excited to try which I encourage all to see this bright and new biz offering yummy Thai food all freshly made to order along with some condiments at your leisure was nice as I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. Thank you!

Located it the new Midtown Eats in The Park (new condo) across Walmart on Keeaumoku. Parking is free for now in the condo complex, enter from Liona OR Rycroft, you can also exit both ways as well. The Pad See Ew with chicken is possibly the best one I've had in Hawaii. We usually order it at every Thai restaurant and I've been to like 90% of all of them here in Honolulu. I also think they might be using MSG because the kanak factor is huge, luckily I wasn't working the day I went. Will try more items and update review after I eat my way through the menu

Lunch in Honolulu, Hawaii... A new Food Hall opened up on the Ground Level of The Park (apartment building), on the corner of Liona Street and Ke'eaumoku Street. One of the vendors, King Thai Cuisine, is related to the restaurant, King of Thai Boat Noodles, down the street! How convenient! I scanned the menu and ordered Pad See Ew - it's like chow funn noodle... a bit chewy and wider than "normal" noodles. I was told that my meal will be ready in about ten minutes. Thanks! I took a walk around the outside of the building and snapped a few photos. When I returned, my package was ready to go! I sat with my friends at one of the many shared tables and enjoyed the air-conditioning and tasy meal! It was a pleasant, efficient experience! I wouldn't mind returning!

King Thai Cuisine is one of the restaurant inside the new food hall. It is a take out place, so you just placed your order and wait for your food. The area is a food court set up, so not much to expect, they have tables, chairs, etc. Currently, they have free parking, we do not even need to take a packing ticket to go to the food hall parking. The person who took our order did not really smile and show any emotion. I guess she must be tired. We ordered the beef Pai Thai and Hainanese chicken rice. Both dishes tasted great! Love it. The sauce for my Hainanese chicken is difference from other places but I love it. The Pai Thai is steaming hot , not too wet with the right amount of sauce and beef. Finally, since the food tastes so good, we order a shrimp Tom Yum soup too, the price for the soup is $21 which I think is a bit pricy. Overall, for the food quality and taste, I give it a 9.5 out of 10, definitely will go back.

Pad Kra pow Add egg $3
    Nolan A.

Ordered Pad Kra pow, flavor was good but portion size was a little small. In their photo it came with an egg, when I opened my plate I didn't have an egg so I ordered one for an additional $3. Spring rolls were not homemade and mushy inside. Service was alright. I feel like they should say that it's $3 more for the egg on the menu and that it's not included even though it's shown in the picture.

Tons of flavor and goodness. It was not at all crowded so it made for the perfect in and out before the free parking expired.

All I can say about eating at the - "Fun Station" is that it's more fun when eating with a friend,…read more& getting a 20% discount.........well, that's just an extra bonus! So the thing about coming to Fun Station is the "suspended flying noodle thingy" which I didn't go for, but if you like Instagramable stuffs, then I supposed you would probably go for that flying-noodle dish. As for me, I mainly came to try their Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and as a bonus......... I actually got a 20% discount thanks to my friend - Jennifer C. who let a Bruddah know about da DEALAGES in da Sunday food section newspaper, as they had a coupon! The Sunday morning when I came with my friend, I can clearly see that this restaurant was thriving, as every table in the restaurant was taken. Fun Station specializes in noodles, but if you're not into that, they do serve other items like - soups, vegetable dishes, rice plates, & porridge (jook). Upon looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Frrrrrrried Chicken Wings ($9.95) for an appetizer 2. Minute Chicken Cake Noodles ($17.95 - minus da 20% coupon DEALAGES) 3. Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton in soup ($18.95) What can I say about da grub??? Da chicken wings came out hot & crispy. Although they featured only "flats" vs. drums (I like drums), I must say da wings was nicely executed. As for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles.........nicely plated on a fancy smanshy panda plate. The cake noodles weren't drowning in gravy, so the noodles stayed crispy on the dish. I really liked how they did this dish, and would easily come back here to eat it again. My friend had the Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton soup. The dish looked good, and there weren't any complaints, so I take it that it was pretty ono! Overall, a very satisfying meal and the service here was on point, as the staff was friendly & very efficient. Easy 5 stars for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles! Chance 'em!

That was the first thing we ordered and the waiter asked if we've had it before so they could make sure that they presented it as the picture show it. We also ordered the chicken wings, salt and pepper pork chops, garlic, bok choy, and the salted fish and chicken fried rice. Everything was so delicious. Food was promptly delivered, and staff was very friendly. It's also BYOB and there's a Foodland in the parking lot so that was a plus as we went to the store to get some alcohol. Restaurant is very casual with about 10 to 12 tables. They were pretty busy when we arrived, but they moved with the quickness to make sure everyone got their food timely. I love the presentation of the flying noodle, although I was in a fan of the dish itself as it had a little sweetness, which I wasn't a fan of. It was just OK to me. However, everything else we ate was tasty and decently priced.

The tables and benches are very basic and not cushioned, which makes for quick customer turnover. We hardly waited 2 minutes before they called us; even though there was a queue the entire time we were there it seems they go really quickly. Focus is on noodles (recommended) or rice dishes. We had beef chow fun (thick noodles) and a rice-noodle soup with pork and picked cabbage. Both dishes were very good. The chow fun was smoky, as if cooked on high heat, and the rice noodles were nicely spiced. The rice noodles came in a delicious broth. Parking is tough in Chinatown but there are several pay lots around. Be careful because the private pay lots can get expensive. There's also two municipal pay lots, each about 2 blocks away.

This place makes their soondae in house as I can tell the difference with frozen soondae and non-frozen ones. Until I go to Korea to try the real thing, this is the best I can get. I definitely think they improved their recipe from the first time I tried it. The aunties here are still very nice but as always give grace because it does get busy here and one aunty would have to take care of multiple tables and party size as well. Overall I'll be coming here whenever I need my soondae fix!! If you haven't tried, definitely come and try! I still need to try the acye here with friends one day!

The food is good, I love AYCE BBQ and all of the meat they provide is EXCELLENT, especially the pork/samgyupsal. The only thing they can beat at is the beef tongue, while it is still very good, Gyu Kaku has better beef tongue but it's just expensive so not worth it at all. Their banchan is great, I am a fan of the Kim Chi they serve here, it has a nice funk to it and a subtle sourness that cuts through the well marbled meat you'll be eating. The Kim Chi soup is also great as well, just as a warning, if you rarely eat kimchi you WILL have increased bowel movements which is not food poisoning but it's the probiotic gut health nature of Kim Chi that flushes you out. So eat it in moderation. My favorite picks are the Pork Jowl/Brisket/Bulgogi/Beef Belly, you literally cannot miss with whatever you pick, it's all very tasty and easy to eat. The service is awesome and feels homy, all the auntys walk around and do their own thing and sometimes check up on you/restock your banchan/soup if you want them to. They have a button you can press to ring them up but you rarely need to do it. If you're not used to how asian auntys talk or behave please don't take it negatively, they express themselves in a brusque manner but they really mean the best. Overall, great meat, great service, great parking space and convenient. The last time I found an awesome tasty spot and wanted to gatekeep it was Seasons Taiwanese Eatery.
